About: I have taken care of dogs and cats since I was little, mostly house sitting and through my parents and sister's many different pets. I love training, walking, and cuddling with these empathetic creatures. I also have some experience in helping out at a dog boarding and day care facility in Steamboat Springs. I graduated December 2021 with my Outdoor Education AA and my Sustainability Studies BA from Colorado Mountain College. I then had the privilege to travel internationally and more locally for a year afterwards but the yampa valley curse sucked me back in! I now live in Steamboat full time. Last year I was unfortunately laid off from my position as Conservation Corps Program Manager at Rocky Mountain Youth Corps due to federal funding cuts. BUT lucky for you and your pets that does mean that I have more availability for walks and sitting! I am also working at Mary’s Mountain Cookies downtown. I can provide any environment that best suits your dog. I want them to feel safe and to stick with their routine while you are away. I prefer house sitting rather than drop ins with dogs that are not used to their owners being away for long periods of time. I will do my best to provide stability, basic needs, and of course lots of love, attention and cuddles! Aside from the occasional travels, outdoor adventures, and family visits, I am working almost full time at Mary’s Mountain Cookies downtown. I do have a lot of flexibility in my schedule and can check on pups during my breaks etc. I want your dog to be the most comfortable they can be while you are gone. About: I've done overnight house stays for several families in the Yampa Valley this year. Longest stay was 10 days. I love getting to know the dogs in the Valley and getting to go on great walks with them. I provide quality pet care and can provide references. When doing overnight house stays, on weekdays, I feed and walk the dogs before I go to work (I start work at 8am), and then after I get off work I come home to feed and walk them again. On weekends it is much easier, and I have all day to walk and feed them. I treat the pets with total respect and love. If the pets require any specific medication I can certainly administer it to them in their food.

About: First, I live in Craig, but willing to try to make pickups work in Steamboat, meeting halfway or we travel for the gym often, so please don't hesitate to reach out to discuss. We have a large yard that is great for active dogs. I used to train horses when I was younger so the patience and consistency is something I've grown up with towards animals.

About: I have been caring for pups since childhood and have a true passion for animals. Dog sitting was my first means of income as a child with my neighbors (and parents) allowing me to care for their dogs into my home while also growing up with a number of dogs, cats, birds, reptiles and rodents. My love for animals has only grown and for the first time in my life I have no pets of my own. For that reason, Rover is the perfect opportunity for me to spend time where my heart is and surround myself with what I love while also helping others. About: Ive been caring for dogs since i was six, my first dog snowball had over one hundred puppies which i trained and looked after before sending them off to their new homes. I found my love and adoration for animals at a young age and have been caring after them ever since. I fit pet a mist my daily tasks, once in the morning, afternoon, and evening. About: I have taken care of dogs and cats since I was little, mostly house sitting and through my parents and sister's many different pets. I love training, walking, and cuddling with these empathetic creatures. I also have some experience in helping out at a dog boarding and day care facility in Steamboat Springs.
