“The first words I'd use to describe Riley are empathetic and caring. She owns two cats and cherishes them unconditionally. She has always been an animal lover, and strives to love animals any time she encounters them. In the past, she assisted a veterinary clinic and got hands-on experience with handling potentially dangerous animals. While she has had some negative experiences with peoples' pets in the past, she is never the one to incite conflict. One time, one of her friends' dogs bit her randomly while she was petting him. Instead of becoming fearful of dogs, she convinced herself that that dog's behavior might have derived from a traumatic past experience and she challenged herself to continue to interact with the dog. Eventually, they gained each others' trust and they become good friends. Riley is an active person and enjoys walking, so she'll do great at walking pets if that's what this job entails. Otherwise, she's knowledgeable about proper pet caretaking habits (feeding, administering medicine, playing but with limits, etc.). She'll do great!”

My dog is a 65lb deaf pittbull. When she first met him he still had terrible manners, but she quickly and easily got him to "listen" to her. He is also reactive with other dogs, but I never worry about her not being able to control him. He loves his long walks with her. When I go out of town. I get plenty of pictures of them snuggling on the couch. If you want someone who will treat your pet like family, she is your girl.”

About: I’ve grown up with animals all my life. I take really great care of them. I have 5 animals of my own and they all get spoiled in their own way. I want them to enjoy the life that they were given. I’m currently working part time and my job so I have a lot of free time and down time to spend the day with your dog(s) or any other animal. I just want them to be happy when you’re away I have a gated back area and if animals don’t get along I can keep them separated. I want to make sure your animal is as comfortable as can be when I take care of them.

About: Recently coming off traveling the US and the way I was able to do that was pet sitting! I was able to line up dog sits and stay in areas I’ve always wanted to visit. The plus was having a dog to get to explore the outside world with. I’m moving back to Colorado and would love to keep this going by staying in new areas. Please reach out to me so I can get to know your fur babies needs! :) I currently work a 8-4 job in Edwards. I would be able to let the dog out in the am for the bathroom and when I get home I would be able to talk the dog for a long walk. There are some days I do like to go home for lunch or if I am passing by on a work route I can stop and check in - all depends on the day. Right now I would like to stick to home visits as I do have a roomate. At others homes I care for their place as I would mine. I am tidy & respectful. I like to stick to the pets routine so I would ask to leave a detailed schedule behind.

About: I am 21 years old and I have had dogs all my life. I have two dogs currently, Handsome & Kobe. I have been raised to treat animals with kindness and love. I have a lot of experience caring for many animals; dogs (puppies & seniors), cats, lizards, rats, aquatic pets, horses and chickens. I would love the opportunity to love and care for your pets when you cannot. I am available to house sit or drop ins for walks and potty breaks. I am reliable, honest and happy to help. I am available to help where needed. I work full time but not every day. We can work out a schedule that makes your pet feel comfortable I have two dogs who are friendly and playful. I am reliable and honest. Your pet will be in good hands and get lots of love and attention I work full time but have plenty of time to place with the pups, and go to the dog park or just play time! They go out every 4-6 hours as well I have a dog park across the street from my house where my dogs go so many times a day!! They have so many friends there, it’s a great open area for them run loose in a fenced area and to play fetch and or go potty!
