“Jen and her family were a delight to work with! They integrated our dog right into their family activities and he was happy and well-rested when I picked him up. I’d hire her again in a heartbeat!”

“We needed someone to keep our dog for the night while we went to a concert in Vail. Lola was so happy at Erin’s with both of her pups, lots of walks, a big fenced yard, and another rover pup to play with. We are so thankful and would absolutely use Erin to watch Lola again in the future.”

About: Hi there! I'm a former special education teacher and a lifelong animal lover who believes every pet deserves patience, understanding, and lots of love. I have a senior cat and a French bulldog with mobility issues of my own. As a former special education teacher who worked with students with significant support needs, I've developed a calm, compassionate approach and plenty of patience—skills that translate surprisingly well to pet care! I'm currently working at a groomer’s in Edwards hoping to learn the trade. Therefore I am comfortable working with dogs and cats of all sizes, abilities, personalities and age. This includes seniors, puppies, reactive, shy, or high-energy, and I enjoy taking the time to build trust at their pace. I am also very skilled in behavior modification so I am capable and willing to follow any puppy training protocols as well. I'll make sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for. Expect plenty of belly rubs, playtime, and photo updates along the way. I can't wait to meet your furry family member! My work schedule is pretty flexible so I can let them out in the morning and be home at a reasonable time to let them out. I am single and older so I am home more often to spend time with them and treat them like my own. I have a very mellow frenchie of my own to keep them company. He loves having friends. My pets are my babies and I will treat yours the same way. As a teacher who worked with children with significant support needs, I am patient, flexible, understanding, responsible and believe in establishing trusting relationships with students, fur friends, and owners.
“Tania and her daughter took great care of Bandit for a full week. We received frequent notes and pictures. He had a lot of walks. He loved playing with their dogs and was treated like part of the family.”

“We’ve had wonderful experiences boarding our dog with Katie and Ryan. They are communicative, kind and willing to accommodate our dog’s medication schedule. We received regular updates and photos, and it’s clear our dog was happy and well-cared for in their care. Highly recommend!”

“Elisabeth was great, super accommodating and took great care of Finn, especially as he had some extra needs with some medications. Appreciated her communication and updates as well.”

About: Kaylie grew up in a busy, animal-filled home—surrounded by everything from dogs and cats to bunnies and guinea pigs. Axel grew up with dogs and cats of his own. While we don't have any fur babies of our own currently, we loveee animals! We've spent the last few years pet-sitting in people's homes through other platforms to get our "furry fix." We currently maintain a 5-star rating with glowing reviews from our previous house and pet sits, and we'd be more than happy to share those details with you! Your pet will have plenty of company here! Axel and I both work remotely, so someone is always home to provide attention and companionship throughout the work day. We love to stay active and naturally break up our tasks with frequent walks. Whether your dog prefers a gentle stroll or a more rigorous hike, we’re happy to tailor our activity level to their needs—including longer adventures after the work day is done. We are located right on the Eagle Valley bike path, which serves as our massive "extended backyard!" While we don't have a fenced yard, our active lifestyle means your dog will never be bored with multiple dedicated outings throughout the day tailored to their energy level.. We specialize in "on-the-go" care, taking full advantage of the nearby paths, hiking trails, and park for long walks, fetch sessions, and fresh air. Your pet will enjoy a fun stay with constant companionship and plenty of variety.
“Michael is a very nice person who took in my 2 small dogs last minute while we were visiting Glenwood Springs for a family weekend getaway. My dogs were stressed out staying at a hotel and I needed to find a sitter fast. Michael greeted us outside of his very nice community located right near the Colorado river. He was very welcoming and patient and gave excellent care to my dogs. He followed all of my care instructions and my pups were happy and wagging when I picked them up. I would highly recommend him to watch your pets!”

“Kaitlin was fantastic! Very helpful, accommodating and timely with communication. She sent several photos of my dog while he was staying with her. Cannot thank you enough for caring for my dog, I know he was in good hands.”

“Suzanne was wonderful in accommodating a last minute request for care. She was super flexible on time and pickup and was very attentive. She took Bodee on many walks and adventures while in her care and even sent pics. 10/10 experience and highly recommend.”

“Karen was an absolute lifesaver for us! We had friends visiting with their kids, and managing two dogs on top of everything would have been a lot, so having Bondi stay with her for a few days made all the difference. Karen kept us completely at ease by posting frequent updates and sharing lots of photos. From every picture, it was clear that Bondi was having the best time and getting so much love and attention. It really meant a lot to see how happy and comfortable he was while we were away. We’re so grateful for the care she gave Bondi and wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again. I highly recommend Karen to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, attentive, and genuinely caring to look after their pup!”

“Charlotte had my 1.5 yr old Porty for 4 nights. Went for multiple walks per day , sent pics of him having fun, and communicated thru out. If you’re looking for a home away from home for your pup, I highly recommend Charlotte., one of the sweetest and nicest humans I’ve ever met.”

About: I’ve owned dogs and taken care of family and friend’s for decades. I’m an animal lover of all types, but particularly man’s furry best friend! I work remote for a nonprofit and have plenty of flexibility within my schedule. Wednesday and Thursday nights I am unavailable, otherwise let’s chat and find time for your pup. I do not offer care in my home. I will come to you and provide comfort and care for your dog in the environment they are used to, ensuring whatever unique needs they have are met!
About: I have owned dogs for over 10+ years. I have experience with senior care (from my own baby girl that passed in December of 2025). I will always love your fur babies as my own. Dogs mean the world to me. I work full time from home, which means I can let them potty as often as they need to be let out. We live near two little lakes, so I can take them on scenic walks outside to enjoy fresh air on my lunches or after work. I am a pretty active person, so if they are an active pup, I can work with that. If they prefer to be more chill & not as active, I can also do that. I don't have a fenced yard, but it's not a problem to let them out to potty, or to go for walks. Dogs are welcome on the furniture. Please let me know your pups bedtime/morning schedules! I can also learn to do injections if needed, or any other medication administration - if you just show me how you normally do it. I would love to also send you all the updates you could possibly want & photos while they are in my care.
“Kristin and her family took great care of Olive! They provided updates and sent cute photos of Olive during her stay. We would definitely book them again if we need a Rover in the Vail area.”

“John is an excellent dog sitter. Super communicative and he was so kind and caring with my dog. He was very diligent about getting my dog out for his walks and sent tons of pictures as well. Highly recommend and I will definitely be using John as a sitter again in the future.”

Our puppy Juniper had a great time with Alice and her family. Communication and preparation prior to our drop off was stellar and so appreciated- it helped me feel really comfortable leaving Juniper with her for a few days. We got lots of photos of the fun and snuggles during the stay. I can highly recommend Alice!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
