Your dog’s ultimate vacation!!
Hi! I’m Josh, and I would love to take care of your dog. My family and our dog Stella LOVE having other dogs around, and we pride ourselves on providing exceptional love, care and attention. I have an amazing 8 acres for your dog to run, play and be free, as well as cozy spaces inside to snuggle up. I have a great neighborhood to walk around and explore. I would be honored to have your dog stay with us and experience the love and magic of our unique home. Our dog Stella was hit by a car 3 years ago and very injured - but thankfully is back to herself now. I spent weeks caring for her day and night with a broken leg - carrying her in and out to potty, managing her medications and doing everything I could to manage her pain. I trusted my gut to take her into the emergency vet down in Denver when her breathing changed one night during this whole ordeal- which ultimately saved her life. The experience was traumatic and very thankful it’s behind us, but I’m grateful for what I was able to learn from it in terms of providing specialized care (and LOVE!) for a critically ill and injured dog. Safety is a huge priority for me.

Josh and Elizabeth are such wonderful pup caregivers! They watched our disabled TBear which included changing diapers and keeping her safe given her paralyzed back legs. We feel blessed to have them welcome her into their home.
Pika had a wonderful time staying with Josh, Elizabeth, and their kids. She got a long great with their dog Stella as well! Lots of space on their property to explore and very cozy accommodations. Thank you so much for taking good care of her!
My pup was happy and well loved when we picked him up! The picture updates were highlights of our days away. He was a bit dustier at pickup than when we used the local boarding facility, but totally worth it for his happiness! 10/10 would use again. In fact, just requested a rebook for next month.
They were great, super responsive, provided updates and Gus seemed super happy when he came home! Will use again!

I cannot recommend Josh enough. My dogs absolutely made themselves at home. I was so relieved while I was traveling that they were enjoying themselves and had plenty of attention.

Schedule
I work from home, so it would be rare for your dog to be alone for more than a couple of hours at a time. I spend a lot of time outside with our dog Stella, so would love to have yours tag along too. I like to get out and explore with the kids on weekends, but again likely would not be gone for more than a few hours. I can adapt our schedule to meet your dog’s needs whatever they may be.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a large unfenced 8 acre property in a rural residential area of Eagle, so tons of space to explore. Our dog Stella LOVES to roam, look for ground squirrels and lizards, dig, and just adventure. If your dog needs to be leashed or more close supervision, we have a great and very large enclosed stone patio area for them to be outside and enjoy laying in the sun. My kids love to play with their water toys here, have family dinners and generally enjoy this space.
Pets
A typical day
I love to work outside, so having your dog as a sidekick would be great! I can take daily walks or hikes. I love to give extra attention and dog massages after a long day of playing. They will also get to play and run around with the kids, which is endlessly entertaining and fun.
