About: Hi there! I'm a former special education teacher and a lifelong animal lover who believes every pet deserves patience, understanding, and lots of love. I have a senior cat and a French bulldog with mobility issues of my own. As a former special education teacher who worked with students with significant support needs, I've developed a calm, compassionate approach and plenty of patience—skills that translate surprisingly well to pet care! I'm currently working at a groomer’s in Edwards hoping to learn the trade. Therefore I am comfortable working with dogs and cats of all sizes, abilities, personalities and age. About: I have owned dogs for over 10+ years. I have experience with senior care (from my own baby girl that passed in December of 2025). I will always love your fur babies as my own. Dogs mean the world to me. I work full time from home, which means I can let them potty as often as they need to be let out. We live near two little lakes, so I can take them on scenic walks outside to enjoy fresh air on my lunches or after work. I am a pretty active person, so if they are an active pup, I can work with that. If they prefer to be more chill & not as active, I can also do that. I don't have a fenced yard, but it's not a problem to let them out to potty, or to go for walks. Dogs are welcome on the furniture. Please let me know your pups bedtime/morning schedules! I can also learn to do injections if needed, or any other medication administration - if you just show me how you normally do it. About: I have a super senior 17 year old min pin mix who is spoiled and in perfect health; something I'm very proud of! Growing up I had cats and reptiles and am comfortable with taking care of all four legged or no legged animals ! I am the go to person for pet advice and always pet sit for my friends and family. I am flexible with scheduling with enough notice! I split my time between Vail and Denver, and offer my services both places. My place in the mountains has a small fenced yard. With ample notice I can accommodate your busy schedule. My apartment is pet proof, child free, and I have linoleum floors and a couple of rugs. I own a carpet shampooer and a steam cleaner so nothing phases me and I keep everything sanitary. Fur babies are allowed everywhere and I mainly clean with green and safe products. I have a crate and can crate your pet if needed. I am also comfortable with medication administration and know all the emergency vet hospitals near by. Living right next to a park and the Eagle River allows access to trails everywhere right out my door. Having a four legged adventure partner is a wonderful way to enjoy so many things this area has to offer. Being a long time dog owner I can't imagine my life without a dog in it. Recently my dog Sonny passed away. He was a small Pomeranian who thought he was the size of a Bear! Having such a small dog with a big attitude helped me to learn how to manage a pack of dogs of all sizes. Sonny's best friend was a very hefty Pit mix named T-bone. Quite the odd couple. My house has always been a dog friendly place. Now I am dogless and looking to love others dogs. I left my day job in academia to pursue another passion. Being creative! I now own and operate a custom picture framing business. I work from home and love the flexibility I have to set my own schedule. When your dog is with me they will be my side kick through the day. Whether it is hanging with me in the workshop, or adventuring with me when we all need a break. It is easy to have impromptu backyard adventures around here.
About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs most of my life and worked at a vet as a kennel technician. I have experience with kittens and puppies as well as geriatric animals. I have experience giving oral and injectable medication in dogs and cats. I have two older cats, Google and Zelda. I work full time, three days a week at the hospital in Vail. I’d mostly be available on my days off or before and after work. It can take time to gain an animals trust (cats especially!) so I would definitely give them their space but always keeping a watchful eye. If taking a walk, they would remain leashed. About: I have owned dogs for over 10+ years. I have experience with senior care (from my own baby girl that passed in December of 2025). I will always love your fur babies as my own. Dogs mean the world to me. I work full time from home, which means I can let them potty as often as they need to be let out. We live near two little lakes, so I can take them on scenic walks outside to enjoy fresh air on my lunches or after work. I am a pretty active person, so if they are an active pup, I can work with that. If they prefer to be more chill & not as active, I can also do that. I don't have a fenced yard, but it's not a problem to let them out to potty, or to go for walks. Dogs are welcome on the furniture. Please let me know your pups bedtime/morning schedules! I can also learn to do injections if needed, or any other medication administration - if you just show me how you normally do it. I would love to also send you all the updates you could possibly want & photos while they are in my care.
