About: I’ve taken care of dogs since a very young age and I’ve always had one or multiple in my family!! Now I have my puppy named Figgy and we’re both ready to make some new friends and create fun memories with them!! Coming the off season I have a lot more free time, I’m always off in the mornings and my boyfriend is always home in the afternoon so it works out perfectly for having a happy and always accompanied pet :) I try to be as careful as I can to follow a pets routine wether that be in my house or theirs. I think it’s all built from respect and trust.
“Destiny was able to check on my cat during a super last-minute trip. She was very responsive, reliable, and kept me updated throughout my time away. I would definitely book with her again!”

About: Growing up we've always had dogs, even if theyre not so big. I've always loved taking them on walks, playing with them and giving them tons of attention. Family members know their loved ones are in good hands when they need someone to watch them. I do currently work full time. But am more than willing to try to squeeze something in before I go to work at 8, and most of my afternoons are wide open after 5 I always try to be respectful of other people's property. Personally I dont have a fence so lots of experience keeping an eye on my pups while we're playing in the yard.
About: I’ve had animals in my life for as long as I can remember, from small dogs and big dogs to cats, snakes, lizards, and more. There’s truly no kind of animal I don’t love. In high school, I regularly cared for my neighbors’ dogs and cats, which helped me build a strong foundation in pet sitting and responsibility. I volunteered at my local animal shelter for four years, and later continued volunteering at the Humane Society of Southwest Missouri during my undergraduate studies. I also spent time working in the veterinary clinic there, which gave me hands-on experience with animal care and a deeper understanding of health and safety needs. I currently have two cats of my own that I absolutely adore, including a senior cat who is diabetic. Managing their care has made me very attentive, detail-oriented, and comfortable with administering medications, monitoring behavior, and following specific care routines. I work professionally in a detail-driven field, so you can count on me to be reliable, communicative, and organized. Whether your pet needs extra attention, medication, or just lots of love, I’ll treat them like they’re my own. Since I work remotely from home, pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine. I’m home throughout the day, which allows me to provide consistent attention, regular check-ins, and a flexible schedule to meet your pet’s needs. I’m able to accommodate feeding schedules, medication timing, potty breaks, and playtime without issue. Whether your pet needs frequent care, a structured routine, or just some extra companionship during the day, I can easily adjust my schedule to ensure they’re well taken care of. Because I’m not rushing in and out for a traditional 9–5, your pet will have plenty of supervision, attention, and a calm, stable environment. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priority. In my home, my cats are incredibly well loved and cared for. Like most cat households, they definitely run the show, but I make sure their environment is clean, safe, and enriched with plenty of playtime and attention. Because I work from home, I’m able to provide consistent supervision and a calm, low-stress environment. I’m very attentive to routines and will follow your instructions closely, whether that includes feeding schedules, medications, exercise, or specific behavioral needs. I also have experience caring for pets with medical needs, so I’m comfortable administering medications and monitoring for any changes. In a client’s home, I treat your space and your pet with the same level of respect and care. I make sure your pet feels comfortable in their familiar environment while keeping things clean, secure, and consistent with their normal routine. Whether it’s walks, playtime, medication, or just lots of love and attention, I’ll make sure your pet feels safe and well cared for every step of the way.
About: I have been a long time animal owner including dogs and cats from all ages. I have experience with taking care of senior and disabled animals. I’m an all around animal person who also has experience with caring for exotic reptiles, amphibians, birds and aquatic animals. I am able cook for your companion(s) if they have a special diet and I am an attentive person when it comes to animals who need special attention or care. I have had dogs of all sizes and age throughout my life and also currently have dogs and cats of my own. I take dogs out to exercise twice a day and have a spacious home with animal friends for your companion’s stay. Please let me know if you are interested! Pet care is my top priority and only focus. I’m not balancing this with other jobs. Caring for animals is what I love and what I do full-time. Whether it’s daily walks, overnight stays, or drop-in visits, I plan my entire schedule around your pet’s needs to ensure they get consistent, attentive, and loving care every time. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I treat every animal like family. I prioritize their comfort, safety, and routine. Whether that means sticking to their specific feeding schedule, giving them space to relax, or offering lots of playtime and snuggles. I maintain a calm, clean environment, pay close attention to behavior or mood changes, and communicate regularly with pet parents to ensure peace of mind. I’m happy to accommodate special needs, medications, or quirks. Whatever helps your pet feel happiest and most at home.

Dylan was great at communicating and took fantastic care of our cats. One of them has some health issues and is on medication and Dylan did a great job documenting each time she gave him meds and kept us updated about some issues he had. We will definitely hire Dylan again!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
