“Dylan is the sweetest! So kind and professional and fun to work with- it can be kind of nerve wracking leaving your pets under the care of someone you don’t know well but Dylan feels like a sister and I appreciate her so much! Sage and Bean look forward to her cat sitting again someday 😻”

About: I love to walk and spend time with pets, they are the best companions. Going for walks with my pet is a joy. I love to play with them and making shure that they have all their needs met. I start my day walking with my pet. When I am home I like to play with them in my fenced back yard. At the end of the day we always go for another walk to the park. I take the pets outside as soon as we wake up. I make sure that they always have access to food and water. Then we go for a nice walk and play.

About: I'm a very responsible 19 year old home from college for the summer. I love all pets and the outdoors. I'm also a very active college athlete and happy to take your dog on trail runs or just a walks depending on their needs. Currently I'm also taking an online summer course so I have a lot schedule flexibility and plenty of time available to spend with your pet. I've grown up with dogs and experienced caring for other people's dogs as well. I am currently home full time and am available anytime of day. I prefer weekdays after 12:00pm or anytime on the weekends. I will be going back to college in August though and will not be available. I will take great care for your dog making sure they have all there needs taken care of and on time including walks, meals, and going outside.
About: I have worked with pets of my own and others for as long as I can remember! I’ve stayed with dogs of all ages and all needs. I work as a teacher in the valley, so have ample time in the evenings to play and care for your pets! I am available for boarding throughout the week. My husband and I love taking care of different dogs. We have an un-fenced yard and am conveniently located near several eagle walking and hiking trails. We have plenty of space, and a sweet dog of my own that likes to play and sleep. Your dog will get a vacation!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since a very young age and I’ve always had one or multiple in my family!! Now I have my puppy named Figgy and we’re both ready to make some new friends and create fun memories with them!! Coming the off season I have a lot more free time, I’m always off in the mornings and my boyfriend is always home in the afternoon so it works out perfectly for having a happy and always accompanied pet :) I try to be as careful as I can to follow a pets routine wether that be in my house or theirs. I think it’s all built from respect and trust.
About: I’ve owned dogs and taken care of family and friend’s for decades. I’m an animal lover of all types, but particularly man’s furry best friend! I work remote for a nonprofit and have plenty of flexibility within my schedule. Wednesday and Thursday nights I am unavailable, otherwise let’s chat and find time for your pup. I do not offer care in my home. I will come to you and provide comfort and care for your dog in the environment they are used to, ensuring whatever unique needs they have are met!
About: I have over 12 years of experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. From energetic pups to mellow seniors, I understand that every dog has unique needs, and I tailor my care accordingly. Whether it’s regular walks, drop-in visits, or overnight stays, I provide consistent, reliable, and loving attention. I’m confident with large breeds, strong pullers, shy or anxious dogs, and those with specific routines or medications. I prioritize safety, structure, and positive energy to ensure your dog feels secure and cared for in your absence. After more than a decade of working with dogs, I’ve learned how to read body language, build trust quickly, and create a calm environment. I treat every dog like family and make sure they get plenty of exercise, affection, and attention. Pet care is a regular part of my lifestyle and something I genuinely enjoy. I'm usually up from 8 AM to 10 PM, so I’m available for morning, daytime, or evening visits. I offer everything from overnight boarding and long walks to hikes or just quality one-on-one time and affection. If your pup needs love, exercise, or a safe place to stay, I’ve got it covered. I understand that life doesn’t always go as planned, so I’m also open to last-minute bookings for an additional fee. I keep my schedule flexible and make caring for dogs a priority in my day-to-day life. I own a home with a fully fenced yard, providing a safe and secure outdoor space for dogs to play and relax. Your dog will be treated like part of the family while they’re here. I also have two well-socialized dogs of my own, so your pup will have built-in buddies (if they’re into that kind of thing). I take safety seriously—introductions are calm and controlled, and I always supervise outdoor time. I keep a clean, dog-friendly home where your pet can feel comfortable, whether they’re here for an overnight stay or just hanging out for the day. I understand how important trust is when leaving your dog in someone else’s care, and I’ll always communicate clearly and consistently to give you peace of mind.

About: Dogs Rule!! The End. I think most dog and animal lovers can agree. Currently I live and work from my home in Eagle, Colorado. I live on a quiet street in a great part of Town. Living right next to a park and the Eagle River allows access to trails everywhere right out my door. Having a four legged adventure partner is a wonderful way to enjoy so many things this area has to offer. Being a long time dog owner I can't imagine my life without a dog in it. Recently my dog Sonny passed away. He was a small Pomeranian who thought he was the size of a Bear! Having such a small dog with a big attitude helped me to learn how to manage a pack of dogs of all sizes. Sonny's best friend was a very hefty Pit mix named T-bone. Quite the odd couple. My house has always been a dog friendly place. Now I am dogless and looking to love others dogs. I left my day job in academia to pursue another passion. Being creative! I now own and operate a custom picture framing business. I work from home and love the flexibility I have to set my own schedule. When your dog is with me they will be my side kick through the day. Whether it is hanging with me in the workshop, or adventuring with me when we all need a break. It is easy to have impromptu backyard adventures around here.
“Paloma agreed late notice to watch my pup, and she did a fantastic job. Communication with her was easy and smooth, and I had no worries with her taking care of my dog! Would 100% recommend :)”

About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs most of my life and worked at a vet as a kennel technician. I have experience with kittens and puppies as well as geriatric animals. I have experience giving oral and injectable medication in dogs and cats. I have two older cats, Google and Zelda. I work full time, three days a week at the hospital in Vail. I’d mostly be available on my days off or before and after work. It can take time to gain an animals trust (cats especially!) so I would definitely give them their space but always keeping a watchful eye. If taking a walk, they would remain leashed. But really, I would take guidance from the owner to know how to keep them safe and to built trust. Owners usually know best’

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Eagle. On Rover:
- 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 95% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
