“Elena is a true godsend. It is very apparent that she is deeply invested in providing excellent care. I was out of town for 11 days and I was very worried about my two cats. Elena kept me up to date with detailed reports. When my cats got sick with GI issues, which is very unusual for them, she alerted me. I discovered in a forum that people had purchased tainted canned cat food that had made their cats violently ill, requiring veterinary care. I buy the same cat food. I was so distraught I almost ended my trip early but Elena went straight over to my house to check on the cats and located the nervous one under my bed. She assured me both cats were alive and doing better after switching to straight dry food. I would put my complete trust in her to watch my cats again. She is a gem and I am so very grateful to have had her diligent caretaking.”

About: I've been raised around dogs, cats, chickens, peacocks, goats and other fluffy beings. Although I'm from the country side, I've had my fair share of suburban pet care as well. I used to own a high energy catahoula/lab mix that I would take on walks everyday. I found that using a gentle leader was a huge help. Sometimes I feel like I connect more to animals than humans! I've done training in equestrian massage (which can transfer to dogs.) I have a special place in my heart for four-legged beings. I work as a massage therapist, but with the winter season over, I have more free time! I'm flexible and easy going. Spending my days with a pup would be a dream! I live in a dog friendly neighborhood, and right by a trail where I see dogs walking all the time. When I'm not walking them, we'll be chasing balls at the park! I believe every dog needs a place to get all their energy out, and move their bodies. I can ensure they will get proper exercise.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs majority of my life. Growing up I’be had 3 husky mix breeds all coming from animal shelters. I have always had the responsibility of taking them on walks, playing with them and feeding them. In high school I also volunteered at the animal shelter near me and took care of all the dogs and cats there. I recently also became a loving cat owner and just moved to the area. About: I have a lifelong love for animals and hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats at every stage of life. I’ve owned two dogs, both rescues that I fostered and then adopted. One was a German Shepherd mix who lived a full, happy life to the age of 12, and the other is a mixed-breed terrier who is still thriving with me at nearly 9 years old. My experience includes caring for puppies and kittens, as well as senior pets who need extra patience and attention. I’m also comfortable supporting animals with medical needs, including managing conditions like diabetes. I understand how important it is to provide not just basic care, but also love, consistency, and a calm, attentive presence. I work from home, which allows me to provide consistent attention and care throughout the day. I’m able to maintain flexible scheduling, regular check-ins, and plenty of companionship for pets who prefer not to be alone for long periods. I live just a couple of hundred yards from a hiking trail, so daily walks and outdoor time are a natural part of my routine. With my own small terrier, I’m already out walking and hiking regularly, and I love including other dogs in those adventures when appropriate. Your pet’s safety is always my top priority. While I do have an unfenced yard, I will always be present and closely supervise any outdoor time. Off-leash potty breaks will only be done with your permission and for pets who are comfortable and reliable in that setting. About: I have had a dog all my life and find them an essential part of any family. I am extremely active and can take dogs for long walks and runs as well as play with them for extended periods of time. I have a car and am happy to take them to local dog parks during visits as well. I am comfortable handling all size dogs, having had Labs, Beagles and Bernese Mountain dogs at home. I am available most days for walks, and can make frequent visits for potty breaks. As for weekends I am available almost all day upon request for either sitting in-house or walks. I am currently in Colorado and would love to stop by and provide a little TLC for your furry friend! I grew up with a dog my entire life. I currently live in the valley without one. I work full time Monday-Friday and am looking to assist with drop-in and dog walking visits for those in need. I currently rent so I cannot board. I offer in house sitting, drop in visits and walks.
