About: I absolutely love dogs, I have grown up with dogs and have George now who I do everything with. He’s been to just about every state in the country. Recently moved back to Utah and looking to get some extra work. My schedule is flexible at the moment so can work around whatever is needed! I will make sure to be very attentive whether it’s at my place or yours. Happy to also go on walks, long or short, whatever the dog likes!
About: I work very part-time and not during the summer at all. I take the girls every morning on a long walk, hike or to the river to play. They come everywhere with us in the car and to the kids outings. ideally the dog we are hosting loves to hike off leash and come for car rides. Dogs must love kids (three boys ages 8, 10 and 12) and our two sweet, docile female dogs. Our dogs are never home alone more than an hour a day and roam the house when so. We also foster regularly for a local rescue but I wouldn’t overlap our foster dogs with a client. I don’t work during the summer and the rest of the year it’s very part time. We walk or hike every morning. On days that aren’t too hot the girls come with me in the car for errands and to take my kids to their activities. We have an unfenced yard and a deck. Our girls just lay in the sun but I also have a tie out if your dog isn’t perfectly trustworthy. Dogs are allowed to roam the house and sleep on any bed :) If they like their crate i’m happy to set that up for them.

“Absolutely amazing! Cori was so welcoming and kind to my dogs. It was my first time using Rover and Cori was beyond helpful. I dropped my dogs off with her to undergo a surgery in Denver and Cori was absolutely fantastic with communication and posted updates on how much fun the dogs were having. It was really a huge stress taken off my shoulder. Her place seemed perfect for active dogs like mine with a good trail very close by.”

“Kyle was awesome with our 2 pups! He took them on several outings, was proactive with communication, and sent lots of picture and video updates 😊. I would highly recommend Kyle for your pet sitting needs.”

About: I have previously worked in a dog and cat daycare, boarding, and grooming center for three years, and have watched pets of family friends since 2018. I have owned and cared for dogs, cats, snakes, birds, and more, and my family regularly fosters kittens! I am comfortable with feeding, giving medication (not injections), walking, and providing care for all types of pets. My schedule is completely available for overnight care at your home, daily drop-ins, single visits, or walks. Please ask me about any accommodations you may need and I will see if I can provide them. In your house, I am happy to follow any instructions about leashed or unleashed time on walks or in your backyard, will feed on your schedule, and can spend time with your pet as much as you need. I am happy to try and accommodate any changes you may need to make, give updates with photos, and tell you any behavioral or medical changes as soon as possible.
“We’ve had wonderful experiences boarding our dog with Katie and Ryan. They are communicative, kind and willing to accommodate our dog’s medication schedule. We received regular updates and photos, and it’s clear our dog was happy and well-cared for in their care. Highly recommend!”

“Bridget is incredible! She took excellent care of my high energy dog and send lots of updates. Bridget was very accommodating and flexible with my flight delays. Highly recommend!!”

“Amanda was great! She responded quickly and was able to accommodate on short notice. She sent pictures and took Maggie on one of her favorite walks! I had a tired pup when I picked her up, which is always a guarantee that she had a good time. I will definitely be using Amanda again!”

“Alex took great care of Milli and seemed to form a bond with her. She was careful with Milli's diet and provided exercise and companionship with her dog. She worked with us on picking up Milli for walks and outings that we wanted to take Milli on and was always accessible to us.”

About: Hi! I’m Stuss — a firefighter/paramedic and lifelong dog person based near Keystone/Dillon. Outside of work I volunteer at the Frisco Animal Shelter and with Summit Lost Pet Rescue, so I’m comfortable with a wide range of dogs: puppies, seniors, shy dogs, reactive dogs etc. I’ve also owned two dogs through their whole lives, so I understand how much trust it takes to leave your best friend with someone else. My setup is simple: I only take one dog at a time (or two from the same household). That means your dog gets my full attention, a calm environment, and care that’s tailored to their routine — not a busy “pack” situation. I donate 20% of my earnings on Rover to the local animal shelter/rescue work I support. My work schedule is 48 hour shifts, and then I have a block of 4 days off. Some of those days I go on adventures, and some of those days I chill around the house. Those "rest days" are when I open my calendar up for dog sitting, so, your dog(s) will have my company all day while I'm at home doing chores, relaxing, and getting outside. I love to hike year round and I will take your dog with me, if they're up for it. I always match the day to your dog. Energetic dogs can join for longer walks/hikes, and seniors can take it slow with short strolls and extra couch time. I live in a ground-floor condo at the end of a quiet street with trails and open space nearby. With your permission, I also drive a few minutes to local trailheads for variety, and I kind of specialize in knowing quiet places to hike without the crowds. I live alone in a quiet, uncluttered home — great for dogs who do best in a calm space. Dogs are welcome on the couch and bed (unless you prefer otherwise). I stick closely to your dog’s normal routine: meals, meds, potty schedule, exercise, and any special instructions.
About: I’ve owned dogs and taken care of family and friend’s for decades. I’m an animal lover of all types, but particularly man’s furry best friend! I work remote for a nonprofit and have plenty of flexibility within my schedule. Wednesday and Thursday nights I am unavailable, otherwise let’s chat and find time for your pup. I do not offer care in my home. I will come to you and provide comfort and care for your dog in the environment they are used to, ensuring whatever unique needs they have are met!
“Minda was friendly and quick to respond. Great location in Silverthorne. She watched our 2 year old golden while we went skiing on a Saturday. So helpful of a resource! Bailey had a great time with her two dogs and came back home happy and tired. We will definitely use her again!”

About: I’ve spent years caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities — from energetic adventure pups to seniors who need a slower pace and extra patience. I’m especially attentive to routine, behavior cues, and emotional well-being. I take the time to learn what makes each pet feel safe and comfortable, whether that’s sticking closely to their schedule, providing calm companionship, or getting them outside for structured exercise. I have experience with: Puppies (potty routines, basic manners, consistency) Senior dogs (gentle walks, medication reminders, extra monitoring) High-energy dogs who need both physical activity and mental stimulation Anxious or shy pets, using calm handling and positive reinforcement I’m reliable, communicative, and proactive — you’ll receive regular updates, photos, and honest check-ins so you never have to wonder how your pet is doing. I treat every animal as if they were my own, with patience, respect, and genuine care. What truly sets me apart is that I don’t rush care. Your pet gets real attention, not just a check-in — and your peace of mind is just as important to me as their happiness structure my days around the pets I’m caring for, making sure they get consistent attention, walks, meals, playtime, and companionship — not rushed drop-ins. I have the flexibility to: Provide morning, midday, and evening care Take dogs out for regular walks and outdoor time Be present for longer stays and extended companionship Adjust schedules to match your pet’s normal routine I’m mindful of maintaining consistency, especially for pets who thrive on structure or need extra reassurance while their humans are away. Whether it’s a quick check-in, a long walk, or overnight care, your pet is worked into my day as a priority — not an afterthought. I communicate clearly about availability and will always let you know ahead of time if anything changes. I provide care exclusively in my clients’ homes, where pets are most comfortable and routines stay consistent. I follow your instructions closely and treat your space with the same respect I would my own. In your home, I: Maintain your pet’s normal feeding, walking, and medication schedule Provide companionship, playtime, and calm presence (not just quick check-ins) Keep your pet’s environment clean, safe, and low-stress Watch for behavior or health changes and communicate proactively Send regular updates and photos so you feel connected while you’re away I’m attentive to details — from securing doors and gates to respecting house rules and routines. For overnight stays, I ensure pets have consistency, comfort, and reassurance throughout the day and night. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, relaxed, and cared for — and for you to have total peace of mind knowing both your pet and your home are in trustworthy hands.
About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and honestly can’t remember a time when there wasn’t a pup in the house. I grew up in a family that always had multiple dogs at once — labs, cocker spaniels, dachshunds, golden retrievers, goldendoodles — plus all the neighborhood dogs that seemed to end up at our place for playdates or pet sitting. Caring for different breeds and personalities has always just been part of my daily life, not something I had to learn later. Since moving out on my own, my roommates have almost always had dogs, and I naturally end up sharing responsibilities — walks, feeding, playtime, and making sure they feel loved and included. I’m a big “dog person” in every sense: I connect with dogs quickly, read their body language well, and make a real effort to help them feel safe, calm, and happy while their people are away. Whether your dog is high-energy and playful or more of a couch snuggler, I’ll treat them like my own and keep you updated so you can relax while you’re gone. I currently work fully remote and have about a 20 to 30 hour per week workload, which leaves me with plenty of extra time each and every day! I’m a very active person and tend to fill my downtime with walking hiking cross country skiing or downhill skiing whenever I can and my flexible schedule certainly helps that. I’ll be more than happy to do just about anything that you request to make your dog happy and comfortable. Let’s just talk about it first!

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Avon
Our dog Moki stayed with Maria for a week while we were out of town. Maria was so attentive, communicative, and went over and above to take the best care of Moki. She sent us lots of pictures and we could tell he had a great time staying with her and felt very comfortable and at home. We are so grateful we found Maria and will definitely have Moki stay with her in the future when we are out of town again!

Brice was an amazing sitter and Maggie seemed to feel right at home hanging out with Brice’s family for the weekend. We also needed to switch the schedule around a bit and Brice was incredibly flexible and agreeable to accomodate us. He will definitely become a regular for us to use on Rover!
Jared was excellent! Our Golden Retriever is skittish around some dogs and she was delighted to have Jared all to herself, without other pets in the home. Thanks to Jared for his professionalism and for taking good care of our fur baby while we stayed at a hotel in Vail that does not accept pets. Would definitely book with Jared again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
