“Trevor was great! Super easy to communicate with and my pup came home happy and sleepy. He updated every day and worked super well with last minute changes. Would use again!”

“Paul was absolutely amazing, he communicated so well and sent pictures! I could tell he really cared about him, that meant a lot. I would highly recommend him and we are already rebooking him for our next trip! THANK YOU Paul!”

“We boarded Suzie with Christoper and Amber because she does not like to be in places with lots of other dogs. They were amazing and did a great job. Very welcoming and Suzie seemed like she had a great time and received plenty of attention and exercise. They let us know she was great to have around and sent plenty of pictures throughout the days we were gone.”

“Shawna was amazing! We got so many lovely updates and our pup seemed very happy at her home. She even sent us home with a sweet portrait of our little guy ☺️”

“So impressed! My furry best friend clearly bonded with both Victoria and her little boy. She listened to details regarding all of my dog’s needs and sent pictures and updates along the way so that I knew everything was going well. I’m grateful to her for her special care of my pup!”

“Highly recommend!! Cara and her family were absolutely amazing with my 7 month old German Shephard. This was my first time leaving her alone and I was a bit nervous but Cara made sure to make me feel comfortable. She kept me posted with pictures and updates the entire time. My girl was able to socialize with her dogs and play play play! They had a backyard pool day. Definitely will be using again for any doggy needs.”

“Denae and family were a tremendous help to me with my dog during his stay. Her dog gets along great with others, and helped my guy feel at home. Thanks again, Denae!”

“Jenn was fantastic. She was able to get my pups in at the last minute after other accommodations fell through. I was nervous using Rover because I'd had bad experiences with a pet sitter a number of years ago, but Jenn put me right at ease. The dogs warmed to her very quickly and got plenty of exercise. She sent lots of photos, took great care of the dogs, and made my trip much less stressful. I would definitely recommend Jenn for your pet-sitting needs in the Conifer area. I will be using her services again with full confidence.”

“Our experience with Cj was wonderful. We were very pleased with her professionalism and her care for our little loved one. Everyone is looking forward to the next overnight stay.”

“I can’t say enough great things about Kendra! She took incredible care of my two boys for an entire week and made the whole experience completely stress-free. She sent frequent updates and tons of adorable pictures! She has a nice backyard that the boys loved to run around and play in. She sent videos of their zoomies! I will absolutely be booking with her again. Highly recommend!”

“Eric and Kim took such good care of our boy, Cosmo! This was his first time at a new house and Eric walked him through it with him with such patience and care. Cosmo has found a new home away from home. Thank you!”

“Our pup, Murray, had a great experience with Kristin, Brant and family! They took Murray for walks and on a trip to the dog park; he came home tired and definitely well loved. We received daily pictures and updates, which was greatly appreciated. We will definitely contact Kristin and Brant in the future!”

“We recently moved here and were so happy to find Janet on Rover! We got such a good feeling when we took our dog, Trixie, for a meet and greet. Thank you for taking such great of her! We felt good knowing that Trixie was going to enjoy her stay with Janet and her family.”

“My dog Butters had a great time at Margaret's! She did a great job communicating with me daily and sending so many fun pictures and videos. He even got to go on a hike, which he really enjoys.”

“Erin was amazing! She watched my dog, Lily, for 6 nights and I received pictures, videos, and updates on how Lily was doing with eating, etc. She gave me peace of mind while I was away that Lily was in good hands. I have already booked Erin for an upcoming trip! Thankful to have found her!”

“Gina and Brett took great care of Sophie! They played lots of ball, said they had fun with her and that she is welcome back. We will definitely use them again!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Kittredge
We are so fortunate we found Olga. She and her family were absolutely wonderful to our girl. They welcomed her into their home and treated her like family. She had a great time romping around with their sweet pup and the yard is a dog's dream come true. Olga sent pictures daily and the communication was top notch. She even went above and beyond by accommodating a last minute change on our end. Thank you Olga for providing such great care and attention to our girl!

Suzy and her family were absolutely wonderful for watching our mini golden doodle for a week. He had the best time and in the middle of trip Suzy graciously took him to our local vet for us when he had a situation that needed attention to help make the rest of his week more comfortable. We would absolutely use Suzy again and recommend her highly!

Fang and her family did a wonderful job taking care of Kaya. They made her a part of their own and made her feel very comfortable. Her updates consisted of photos and videos almost every day. They even got Kaya an Adventure dog calendar and made us a pawprint ornament. She was fed well, loved, and had lots of company with their puppy Juno. Juno was very energetic and playful, but from what I could tell in the videos, her and Kaya chased each other and otherwise played gentle (no bullying from either pup). Overall, we would highly recommend Fang for boarding.

Casey and her partner were wonderful with our wild pup, Fable! She is 8 mo old and has lots of energy but Casey and her dogs did a fantastic job wearing her out. They were great communicators and sent lots of pictures and updates. Fable can't wait until her next stay!

I left my cat with Emily for a long stay(about 6 months), and she was absolutely wonderful. She was so kind, and I felt I could completely trust her during the entire time. I’m very grateful that she kept me updated often with photos of Lavey and how he was doing. She also understood our situation so well, and I truly appreciate her for that. If I ever need someone again, I would definitely choose Emily without hesitation. Thank you so much!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
