Pet care experience
Lots of attention in a family home
After having a family dog for 16 years, we have been pet-free for the past several years. Me, my husband, and our 4 kids (ages 13-18) would love to love on your pup while you are gone! At the same time, our own dog was a bit “moody”, so if your dog prefers not to have too much attention from kids, our kids are also old enough to understand and respect that. I am home full-time, and my husband works from home, so there is nearly always someone at the house. Your dog will have plenty of human companionship and love! Special Needs: while I don't have experience giving shots to dogs, I do have a son with Type 1 Diabetes and have given him many shots, so I would be comfortable giving shots if needed as long as you can provide me with a quick training!

We had our flight delayed. She stayed up very late to wait for us! Amazing. Our puppy was very cared for and happy.
Nicole was absolutely amazing with our puppy! From the very beginning, she was incredibly accommodating when our schedule changed and was so patient as I navigated the Rover app for the first time. What really stood out was the warm, family-oriented environment she provides. Our puppy loves being around people, and Nicole’s home gave him exactly that. He received attention from the whole family, which gave us peace of mind knowing he wasn’t just being watched—he was genuinely being loved and engaged with throughout his stay. Nicole kept us updated with pictures and messages, which made it easy to see how happy and comfortable he was. He went on several walks, got plenty of attention, and clearly had a wonderful time. In fact, the biggest sign of all was that he was excited to go back on the second day! That told us everything we needed to know about how much fun he had and how well he was cared for. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend Nicole to anyone looking for loving, attentive care for their pet.
We had a great experience with Nicole & Craig. We have an older rescue and this was the perfect environment for him. We will definitely be using them again in the future!

Nicole and her family were super patient and kind to my timid sweet black lab, Hank. Nicole sent pictures and reassurance to us that Hank was doing well the whole time. We very much appreciate the care Hank received.
Nicole and her family took excellent care of our dog! He had a great time, and I had the peace of mind that he was in such good hands! They have a beautiful property (and neighborhood) where Benny could enjoy the outdoor space. Excellent communication! Schedule
As a stay-at-home parent, I will be available to spend time with your dog much of the day. Of course I leave home for a couple of hours here and there, but my husband is also home during the day. I would love to take your dog for walks around the neighborhood or on the trail that runs behind our house. If your dog enjoys attention from kids, our teens/tweens would love to play or snuggle with your dog when they are home- but will also be happy to give your dog space if that's their preference!

Safety, trust & environment
We have a spacious house and yard, but the yard is mostly hillside, so if your dog enjoys going for walks, I will primarily walk your dog in our neighborhood or on the trail behind our house. They can sleep wherever they like in the house, and I am happy to discuss any other special arrangements or care concerns you may have! While we do not currently have a dog of our own, I feel comfortable taking care of elderly dogs, as our own dog lived to age 16.
A typical day
We will go on plenty of walks in the neighborhood or on the trails near our house. We can also spend time outside soaking up the sun on our large deck or relaxing on the carpeted floor or couches in our family room while the family watches tv, does homework, makes meals, etc.
