I’ve been boarding for friends and neighbors for 10, and I know what a bored 70-pound dog does to a living room, which is why exercise comes first here, not as a bonus. Good fit for: large breeds, working and sporting dogs, adolescents with too much energy, dogs who don’t do well kenneled. Not a good fit for: dogs who can’t be around other dogs, or who need to be kept separate. I’d rather say that up front than have anyone spend a bad weekend. About: With a lifetime of animal love and care, I was most recently a doggie foster parent. This gave me experience with both behavioral and medical care, and raised my personal bar for doggie care. I truly enjoy the company of animals, and working predominantly from home, my partner and I are able to take breaks for walks and drop ins as needed! We have two SWEET dogs at home - who haven't met a dog they didn't love- that could join in the walk, or we could go solo with your pups! Working primarily from home, my partner and I are nearby for walks and visits. It's a win-win for us (and if wanted, our two sweet dogs!) to get outside and enjoy the fresh air! I love walking, hiking and spending time with animals. I have a large 1 acre property and spacious home. No other pets, just me and my husband. I am perfectly happy caring for one pet at a time if you prefer your pet to be the only pet with me. I have also cared for friends' pets for a long time as well but am adding my services here to the Rover community. Thank you! I work from home full time, so I have a lot of flexibility. I am able to take breaks often during the day for potty breaks and walks. I am home almost everyday, but I do go out on weekends for a few hours at a time. I can bring your pet along on hikes and picnics if your pet is able to join. I prefer pets that can be left at home for at least 3-4 hours at a time and unattended. If not, we can discuss. Crates may be needed if they are unable to roam around the house alone. I have a large property, but it is unfenced, it is far from the road and our area is very very quiet, almost zero cars. I can keep your pet on a leash for potty breaks if they are prone to running away. My house is spacious and has two floors with just the two of us and no other pets. The stairs and floors are covered in non-slip rugs for pets. There is a baby gate to keep your pet away from stairs if needed. There are extra rugs for the floors if needed (our senior dogs used to slip a lot). I also have a large deck that is fully enclosed - no exit route. Since I am home almost all the time, I can take your pet for a walk and let them keep me company at home on the couch too! I can also come over your home and care for your pet there as needed (depends on length of stay requested).

About: Hi! I've been a dog lover for my whole life and have always enjoyed getting to know new dogs. I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, from months old puppies to sweet senior dogs with their own special needs. I have experience and am comfortable administering medication, too. About: There is nothing better than coming home to a sweet furry face! Our pets are family too and I’ll take care of your pet as if it were my own. I only accept a few clients at a time to ensure the best experience and while your dog/dogs are here, they are part of our family with plenty of playtime outside and regular walks in our neighbourhood or nearby open space. About: I've been a devoted dog lover since childhood when my mom would take in strays and rescues from the streets. I helped groom, train, love, and care for these sweet souls. Today, I work as a part-time substitute school teacher but find that I need more four footed companionship and outside time in my life, so I'd love to be your go to dog walker on my days off. Walking is one of my favorite activities so I'm there to make sure that you're dog and myself are getting the exercise we need!

Everyone I know says that in their next life they want to come back as one of my dogs-spoiled to no end! About: I’ve spent a lot of time caring for dogs with different needs. I’ve looked after my 10-year-old Border Collie–Terrier mix her whole life, including helping her recover from two ACL surgeries, keeping her active, and managing her daily routine. I’ve also dog-sat and walked dogs for neighbors and trained a dog to safely use an electric fence. I’m patient, attentive, and make sure every dog feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. As a full‑time college student, my schedule is pretty flexible. The only times I’m consistently unavailable are weekdays from 10–2, except on Fridays. Outside of that window, I’m able to care for pets throughout the week, including evenings. I also have plenty of availability on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, which makes scheduling overnight sits or longer stays easy. I’m happy to take dogs on walks during the week and on weekends, and I always make sure they get plenty of attention, playtime, and care while you’re away. I provide care for pets in their own homes, making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. I enjoy playing with dogs and puppies, whether it’s tossing a toy, cuddling on the couch, or sitting on the floor to keep them entertained. I love going on walks and will make sure your dog gets a good, fun stroll while staying safe. About: I can’t imagine life without pets! I’ve always had several! I’ve seen puppy achievements to senior ailments and everything in between. No two are alike! I can administer medications, I have done this many times. Dogs and cats both. Yes, I have done the cat stages too!! Kittens to senior cats. Since I was 7 I’ve had one as my own. They are awesome unique creatures. I love them! As an adult I always have 2 🙂 I am not working outside of the home. Therefore my schedule allows me to be very flexible to allow for pet care! I’m available to stay with your pets during a housesit as much or as little as you prefer. I’m also flexible for drop-in care! I’m available during the week days which can be especially helpful for a puppy or senior pet ❤️ As I care for pets in your home I will keep them to the schedule you provide me. I will be sure they are fed on time and walked as you instruct me to and so forth. Keeping them as close to their normal routines is important for them to feel safe and happy. 😊 If your normal routine is “no routine” that’s great too!! I’ll do what makes you feel the best leaving your pet in my care.
About: With a lifetime of animal love and care, I was most recently a doggie foster parent. This gave me experience with both behavioral and medical care, and raised my personal bar for doggie care. I truly enjoy the company of animals, and working predominantly from home, my partner and I are able to take breaks for walks and drop ins as needed! We have two SWEET dogs at home - who haven't met a dog they didn't love- that could join in the walk, or we could go solo with your pups! Working primarily from home, my partner and I are nearby for walks and visits. It's a win-win for us (and if wanted, our two sweet dogs!) to get outside and enjoy the fresh air! On the weekends I may leave the house between 1-4 hours at a time. I am a naturally empathetic persom, so it's important to me that your feels loved, secure, and has a blast on our walks and visits!
