“Larissa was fantastic with our pup. She’s is an absolute dog lover and it shines through her words and actions. We’re very grateful for the way she loved on our dog, taking him on multiple walks and sending pictures of him cuddled up next to her. Would certainly use Larissa in the future.”

“Nikki was awesome! I boarded my dog with her for the day and she was very flexible and accommodating! She kept me updated and Zoey looked pretty content at her place which made it easier for me to enjoy my day without worrying so much. Highly recommend!”

“Georgia was so wonderful with our dogs. She took such great care understanding & accommodating their individual needs and behaviors. I would not hesitate in asking Georgia to watch Rosie & Daisy again. It’s nice being able to relax while away, knowing they’re in her care. The picture & video updates were great as well!”

“Madeline took wonderful care of George during our wedding weekend! We needed some extra help since George was a part of our big day. Maddy helped make sure that George was exercised, and then transferred to our wedding day handler. George had a great time, we had a bunch of pictures that made us feel good and everything was super smooth. Would 100% recommend!”

“Jayme was amazing with Daisy! Daisy has had anxiety with other sitters, but Jayme made her feel so comfortable. They took hikes, played tons of fetch, and did a lot of snuggling. It was such a relief to know that Daisy was so happy while we were on our trip!”

About: Hello! My name is Caitlin but my friends call me Clover :) I grew up with 3 dogs and became an animal lover at a very early age. I absolutely ADORE spending time with animals and working with them has always been one of my biggest passions. I love playing with them, giving them lots of love, and taking them on runs with me. I’m very athletic, so if you’re looking for a sitter who will get your dog all worn out I’m your gal! I’m also great with older dogs, and have cared for dogs with medications and other special requirements. I’m great with dogs of all sizes and have a lot of experience pet sitting, house sitting, and dog walking. I have experience working as a pet sitter/house sitter consistently for the past 7 years.

“Nick has been my go to sitter for my 2 pups for almost 2 years now! He always is super flexible with dates and drop off times and last minute boarding requests. His friend Gabe has also been so amazing with the pups as well. He’s brought my dogs along with him on camping trips and outings and I can tell they have so much fun by their reaction when we pull onto his property. I have not used another sitter since I found Nick. The dogs adore staying with him and I love the flexibility Nick has with boarding/daycare and how tired my dogs are once I pick them up from running around the farm all day!”

“Kaitlyn was an amazing help! She went above and beyond to ask questions and scheduled a little meet and greet with Margo ahead of her stay. She also was very communicative and responsive with updates and jumped quickly to scoop up additional needed items (forgotten by us in our hurry to leave for a trip!) Very thankful for her care and assistance.”

About: Hey there! I’m new to Rover and can’t wait to take care of your pup. I’ve been an avid pet-lover and sitter my whole life - Big or small, your pets will be welcomed and adored in my care. I have an extra special place in my heart for big dogs, rescues, and misunderstood breeds and have hands on experience with all kinds of breeds, from chihuahuas to mutts to mastiffs. Can’t wait to meet your pup and give them lots of love. 💛 My job is local and hybrid so my schedule is extremely flexible which gives me and your pup plenty of time to play and go for lots of long walks. While I don’t have a backyard, my apartment is dog-proofed and located near numerous parks, bike paths and walking trails perfect for getting outside for walks and potty breaks.
About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life and have helped care for them from when they were puppies through adulthood. Over the years, I’ve helped with daily walks, feeding, playtime, training reinforcement, and making sure they get plenty of attention and exercise. I’ve also helped care for dogs belonging to family members, which has given me experience with different breeds, personalities, and energy levels. Growing up with dogs has taught me how important patience, consistency, and understanding each dog’s unique personality is when caring for them. I’m currently a graduate student doing research, which gives me a fairly flexible schedule and allows me to accommodate walks throughout the week. I enjoy staying active and spending time outdoors, so fitting dog walks into my daily routine comes naturally. Whether your dog needs a quick walk, regular exercise, or some extra attention during the day, I’ll work to provide reliable and consistent care. When caring for pets, my priority is always making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I understand every dog has different personalities, energy levels, and routines, so I try to adapt to what works best for them. Whether in your home or out on walks, I focus on keeping pets safe, giving them plenty of attention, and following any instructions or routines you provide to ensure consistency and trust.
“Murphy was so tired after his time here! He is a very active dog, and having other dogs to play with made his time so rewarding! I could see in his eyes in the photos that were sent that he was happy as can be!”

Alicia, thank you so much for not only taking our sweet girl last minute but then taking exceptional care of her and also us by keeping us updated on her stay. Even if only one photo, I always love seeing how she’s doing, and you sent more than that. I appreciate you so much and 100% recommend you to anyone who’s looking for a compassionate and caring sitter for your fur babes!

Molly was wonderfu, i highly recoomend her. She did in home boarding for my lab rhue for 4 days. She contacted me in advance to learn about what rhue likes to do, rhue is very energetic. So Molly took her swimming, walking, played ball, took her to a bicycle rally to help supervise :-) out to a local restaurant's patio and more. Molly was flexible on my arrival and departure and helped me get a large rv in and out of her neighborhood. I got pics every day, she communicated really well. Overall best rover Ive ever had.

Chris was so great with Pickles! He took the time to meet up with us before confirming the visit to ensure our dogs got along well (they got along great!). He took Pickles on long trail walks and sent great photos and updates. As someone who gets anxious leaving my dog, it was a relief to know he was having fun and well taken care of.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
