We currently have 1 dog - a medium-sized, mild-mannered mixed breed named Baxter. Since we both work from home and are now empty nesters with a quiet house, we'd love to help you with dog care when you need to go out of town. We both have had dogs all of our lives, ranging from small dogs to labs, huskies, and shepherd mixes. We have taken care of dogs for friends and family on a regular basis. We take Baxter out for a walk in the morning and a walk in the evening so your pup(s) will get plenty of exercise with us if they'd like to. We don't have a fenced yard but will keep the dogs on leashes. We'll only book 1 family's dog or dogs at a time so it won't be too chaotic. The last 10 years I raised a German Shepherd from 8 weeks that sadly passed away last summer. Needless to say I miss being covered in dog hair. I also volunteered at a Humane Society for a number of years training and fostering dogs, so I am familiar with working with any little quirks or needs your friend may have. I currently have 3 dogs of my own, as well as our newest addition, our kitty Bopi. Our animals cohabitate as a little pack, we aren't sure if the kitty realizes she isn't a dog like all of her siblings in the home! We are happy to host at our home with a proper meet-and-greet as well as me coming to you if your pet prefers their own home while you're away. I have administered medications/observed certain pets as well that needed a little extra attention.
