About: Hi! I’m Stuss — a firefighter/paramedic and lifelong dog person based near Keystone/Dillon. Outside of work I volunteer at the Frisco Animal Shelter and with Summit Lost Pet Rescue, so I’m comfortable with a wide range of dogs: puppies, seniors, shy dogs, reactive dogs etc. I’ve also owned two dogs through their whole lives, so I understand how much trust it takes to leave your best friend with someone else. My setup is simple: I only take one dog at a time (or two from the same household). That means your dog gets my full attention, a calm environment, and care that’s tailored to their routine — not a busy “pack” situation. I donate 20% of my earnings on Rover to the local animal shelter/rescue work I support. My work schedule is 48 hour shifts, and then I have a block of 4 days off. Some of those days I go on adventures, and some of those days I chill around the house. Those "rest days" are when I open my calendar up for dog sitting, so, your dog(s) will have my company all day while I'm at home doing chores, relaxing, and getting outside. I love to hike year round and I will take your dog with me, if they're up for it. I always match the day to your dog. Energetic dogs can join for longer walks/hikes, and seniors can take it slow with short strolls and extra couch time. I live in a ground-floor condo at the end of a quiet street with trails and open space nearby. With your permission, I also drive a few minutes to local trailheads for variety, and I kind of specialize in knowing quiet places to hike without the crowds. I live alone in a quiet, uncluttered home — great for dogs who do best in a calm space. Dogs are welcome on the couch and bed (unless you prefer otherwise). I stick closely to your dog’s normal routine: meals, meds, potty schedule, exercise, and any special instructions.

About: I’ve had dogs pretty much my whole life, and caring for them has always been a big part of who I am. I now have my own dog, Tory, whom I adopted at 10 and is now 13, so I have hands-on experience with senior dog care, including patience, attentiveness, and understanding their changing needs. I genuinely love bonding with dogs, caring for them, and making sure they feel safe and comfortable. I believe dogs are truly our best friend, and I treat every dog with the same level of care, respect, and affection as I do my own. I work in the office three days a week and may be able to bring well-trained, office-friendly dogs with me when appropriate. Depending on distance and schedule, I may also be available for lunch-time walks or check-ins for dogs who are more comfortable at home. I do my best to accommodate each dog’s routine, temperament, and care needs while keeping communication clear and reliable. I follow each dog’s routine closely and believe consistency is key to keeping them comfortable and happy. I walk my own dog, Tory, twice a day and am very attentive to details like feeding schedules, exercise, and behavior cues. In your home, I will respect your space and follow all care instructions exactly as provided. In my home, I have both a back patio and front yard space, providing a safe environment for fresh air and movement. My approach is calm, structured, and focused on making your dog feel secure, respected and loved <3

She was great about keeping me updated and sent me lots of photos from her walks. She was also super flexible and accommodating when I had to change pickup plans on the fly.
