“This was our first time using Rover and Shanik made our experience nothing short of amazing! She is so kind and considerate, truly a dog lover! Shanik sent us tons of adorable pictures and updates of our dog while we were away. We felt our dog was incredibly loved and well taken care of. Both Shanik and her husband were easy to get in touch with and made pick up/drop off a breeze. We highly recommend bringing your pet to Shanik! Thanks again! We’re so glad we found you!”

“I can’t say enough about the wonderful experience we had with Tia and her family. First experience with Rover - and it was great. Our Rocky became a member of the family- took hikes - snuggled at night and when i picked him up - i could see he was well-loved. Thank you Tia!!”

“Murphy was so tired after his time here! He is a very active dog, and having other dogs to play with made his time so rewarding! I could see in his eyes in the photos that were sent that he was happy as can be!”

About: [Hours for Drop-off/Pickup Boarding or walking 8am-8pm] I’ve been obsessed with animals (big and small) since birth. Our family has a ranch where I would help care for cows, chickens, dogs, cats, baby animals and horses every day. Now, I am semi retired (Stanford Law and U Chicago undergraduate) with my two well behaved Shiba Inu dogs and an extra house on our 8 acres in the Boulder mountains with time for more animals. I’ve been caring for dogs (and even puppy training, dog shows, dog whelping) my entire life. Let me take care of your pups as if they were my own. Please know I’ve had many years of experience with Queensland Blue/Red heelers, Kuvasz (Great Pyrenees), Shiba, Akita, Pit mixes, Dachshund, Bulldog, Boxers, malamute, aussies, Shihtzu, whippet, German Shepherd, borzoi, chow, shar pie, and many many more. I’m semi-retired and spend most of my days with my dogs or around our 8 acres. I walk, hike, snuggle and do not have anything to take me away from the pups for more than 3 hrs. We have two fully furnished houses on our property and live in one with our two Shiba Inu dogs. Your dogs could be in their own house with me for as much time as needed or with our dogs in the main house. They will receive whatever care makes the most sense for them (eg my female dog hates walks but prefers cuddles and my older male dog needs three solid walks per day and less cuddles).

Lauren was amazing! She asked detailed questions to get to know Valentina... she was so flexible with our schedule. She scheduled a meet and greet before the booking. Every step of the way she was so kind and compassionate with our elderly princess! Would highly recommend Lauren and we look forward to using her again!
Lauren was an amazing dog sitter, I would 100% recommend her to anyone else looking for someone to stay with their dog. She kept us updated daily on how our dog was doing and also did a great job of keeping our active boy busy. Our house was also spotless when we came home.

Lauren was amazing. She was always send pictures and giving me updates. I was never worried. They had so much fun together. I was a little concerned my dog would not want to come home she got so spoiled and had doggy friends to play with. Thanks so much and I will definitely be using Lauren again.
