About: Hello! My name is Gwen and my husband's name is Mikkel. We live full time between the towns of Granby and Grand Lake and both work from home. We currently have 1 dog - a medium-sized, mild-mannered mixed breed named Baxter. Since we both work from home and are now empty nesters with a quiet house, we'd love to help you with dog care when you need to go out of town. We both have had dogs all of our lives, ranging from small dogs to labs, huskies, and shepherd mixes. We have taken care of dogs for friends and family on a regular basis. We take Baxter out for a walk in the morning and a walk in the evening so your pup(s) will get plenty of exercise with us if they'd like to. We don't have a fenced yard but will keep the dogs on leashes. We'll only book 1 family's dog or dogs at a time so it won't be too chaotic. Not only do I love every minute of it, but I'm able to provide your animals the highest level of care that way! I follow all instructions that are given to me, and I tend to spoil your animals with love and attention! Sometimes treats as well, if they're allowed. I am able to stay at the pet's house with them nearly 24 hours a day, which they love. We have lots of fun together and always end up developing a strong bond with each other. Anything else that is needed or wanted, I will be happy to provide!
About: I have taken care of dogs, cats, chickens, sheep, goats, horses, and cows since I was a kid. Neighbors and family and friends relied on me to walk, feed, bathe, clean stalls, and give love and attention to their fur babies. About: Hello! My name is Gwen and my husband's name is Mikkel. We live full time between the towns of Granby and Grand Lake and both work from home. We currently have 1 dog - a medium-sized, mild-mannered mixed breed named Baxter. Since we both work from home and are now empty nesters with a quiet house, we'd love to help you with dog care when you need to go out of town. We both have had dogs all of our lives, ranging from small dogs to labs, huskies, and shepherd mixes. We have taken care of dogs for friends and family on a regular basis. We take Baxter out for a walk in the morning and a walk in the evening so your pup(s) will get plenty of exercise with us if they'd like to. We don't have a fenced yard but will keep the dogs on leashes. We'll only book 1 family's dog or dogs at a time so it won't be too chaotic. I work as a nightshift RN 3 days a week. My husband Alex is home 24/7. Your pups will have constant companionship and care with us! We are confident with puppies, seniors, and dogs who need a little extra time or understanding. We will only provide care for one family at a time as that is what we expect when our pup is being watched! We live 2 miles from the national park entrance in a one level tri-plex. We have outdoor space for potty breaks & light playtime. We have an 8 year old golden retriever who is friendly with all animals (unless you’re a squirrel 😜). We currently have only 1 elderly neighbor who uses the home as a weekend getaway. He has 2 dogs which are fenced in or on leash. Our home is pup friendly on all surfaces and if they like to sleep in bed with us that’s perfectly fine! We take our girl on a mandatory leashed walk, hike, paddle or dog park trip every single day. Train rides requests will not be answered due to over 50+ requests this past weekend sadly. 🐾Suka and I love to play outside. So much so that we have a backyard with a Dog Door and even a fence window to look out into the world. 🌎 Suka is a 6-year old playful husky who gets along with everything. He loves having new friends over to play! I work locally in Georgetown and lunch at home. Dogs get free rein of the house, and have separate areas if needed as well. I’m extremely active and will take them on bike rides, hikes, walks, runs, etc. I always send Rover Cards! Can’t wait for yours and mine to connect!! I’m able to actually come home multiple times a day to check in on the dogs and only work 4 days a week so dogs get tons of attention at my place. I have a fenced privacy yard and my own other friendly at home with a dog door so dogs can feel free to roam inside and out on their own terms
