We have been traveling for a week and changing plans due to the lack of snow so we made a very last minute request and Emma was super flexible and communicative. She took great care of Minnie! Minnie can be anxious when away from home but was much calmer than usual when we picked her up. When Minnie needed space from Emma’s playful dogs, Emma gave Minnie her own space in the house. We got updates and photos during the day too. We highly recommend Emma and would use her again if we’re traveling in this area again.

Very close proximity to the Rocky Mountain National Park, where dogs are not allowed on trails. Gwen and Mikkel were able to watch our pups Angus and Rosie for a day while we were vacation so we could go hiking. Great communication and sent us several pictures as well. We knew our dogs were in great hands which made our day all that more enjoyable. Highly recommend!!!

Shanik and family are wonderful pet hosts. Mila loved to spend the days with them. She was happy to play ball outside in the snow for her first time. Shanik took care of Mila while my family and I were out skiing. Mila felt like she was home! Thank you!

About: Hi! I’m semi- retired, flexible and here to help! I am an experienced and dedicated dog owner with over 30 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of various breeds, ages, sizes, and temperaments. Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and caring for them isn’t just something I do — it’s something I truly love. I have extensive experience with both large and small breeds, including strong, high-energy dogs and those who need a little extra patience and understanding. I’m confident handling everything from tiny companions to powerful working breeds, and I’m comfortable managing leash manners, reactivity, and high-drive personalities. Over the years, I’ve also worked alongside several professional trainers to develop improve upon training techniques and deepen my understanding of canine behavior. This has given me strong skills in structure, positive reinforcement, consistency, and reading body language — ensuring every dog in my care feels safe, understood, and supported. I currently have two dogs of my own who keep me on my toes! One required daily medication and eye drops for most of her life and is now blind, so I’m very experienced with administering medication, caring for special needs dogs, and providing the extra patience and environmental awareness they require. My other is a 90lb Rottweiler — a big, strong, lovable goofball — so I’m more than comfortable handling large, powerful breeds with confidence and control. Whether your dog needs structured walks, medication management, extra patience, or just lots of love and play, I provide reliable, attentive, and compassionate care tailored to their individual needs. I treat every dog as if they were my own and prioritize safety, routine, and plenty of affection. I’d love to meet your pup and provide them with a fun, safe, and caring experience! I’m currently semi retired so have flexibility to adapt to your dogs needs, routine and playtime! I love going for walks, helping with training, providing mental stimulation as well as exercise. My dogs are pretty “spoiled” according to my friends; they eat (home prepared meals) 3 times a day (not including treats) and get tons of attention. I’m happy to provide the same level of love, attentiveness and care to any and every dog I possibly can. 💜 I have a small fenced in yard and a comfortable cozy home. I do have two dogs but have the ability to keep mine separate if needed. If requesting home sitting services, I have done the same and fully understand the level of of trust, cleanliness and respect needed in these situations.

Cherie watched Paisley for half a day while we were snowmobiling, and she was truly a dog whisperer. She kept us updated with pictures, which gave us so much peace of mind. Paisley usually won’t even leave her crate the first time with a new sitter, but with Cherie she felt comfortable enough to go out right away. Cherie even accommodated us by driving Paisley back to our Airbnb. Communication was excellent throughout. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely book her again.

Amanda was so incredible! I was in town for a wedding and last minute needed to find a sitter for my fur baby. Amanda was incredibly flexible and accommodating. She put a lot of care and love into the service. When we brought my dog back the next day he almost jumped out of the car with excitement. If you need a sitter you should absolutely hire Amanda!

About: I love big dogs, especially GSDs, but have experience with many ages, breeds, and sizes. I grew up with several labs. I raised a German Shepherd from 8 weeks to 10 years that sadly passed away a couple years back. Needless to say I dont mind being covered in dog hair. I have experience with various personalities, separation anxiety, cuts/injuries, and administering medication. I typically watch one or multiple dogs at a time from the same owner. I will only watch dogs from different owners if the dogs are all dog friendly and all owners agree to it. I enjoy going on walks, hikes, and going to parks, but can also just hang out with your pup if that’s what’s desired. I work remote full time and set my own schedule, allowing flexibility all hours and days. I live in a home with plenty of room and a fenced in backyard. Trails are 20 yards away. Reach out if you’d like to set up a meet and greet! I work remotely and make my own schedule, so I’m flexible at all hours and days to provide the care that your dog needs and deserves. Dogs are always welcome in my home! I have plenty of space with a fenced in yard and dogs are allowed on the couch and in the bed. I’m easy to work with, patient (some dogs just like to sniff more than they walk), communicative, and can adjust to any preferred care strategy to provide a trustworthy service while you’re away.

Robyn is a wonderful dog sitter and lovely person. She understands dog behavior and knew how to reduce my dog's anxiety when being introduced to her dogs, which can often lead to snippy behavior. She helped my Lucy to be very comfortable during her overnight stay to the point that Lucy initiated play with another dog, which is unusual for her. Robyn was flexible with pick up and drop off which was great for our situation. I'm so glad I found Robyn and would highly recommend her.

Cherie is truly a dog lover! Our little old Yorkie warmed up to her almost immediately. I was impressed at how Cherie slowly introduced Baxter to her sweet labs. Unfortunately, Baxter has separation anxiety which resulted in more than one episode of diarrhea during his stay. Cherie let me know but didn't complain, which I appreciated because I felt terrible about it! I will definitely call Cherie again and promise to give Baxter a little crumb of imodium before leaving him with her, something I genuinely wish I'd done before dropping him off this time!

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Fraser commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 469 sitters in Fraser, 85% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
