“Cherie watched Paisley for half a day while we were snowmobiling, and she was truly a dog whisperer. She kept us updated with pictures, which gave us so much peace of mind. Paisley usually won’t even leave her crate the first time with a new sitter, but with Cherie she felt comfortable enough to go out right away. Cherie even accommodated us by driving Paisley back to our Airbnb. Communication was excellent throughout. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely book her again.”

“We have been traveling for a week and changing plans due to the lack of snow so we made a very last minute request and Emma was super flexible and communicative. She took great care of Minnie! Minnie can be anxious when away from home but was much calmer than usual when we picked her up. When Minnie needed space from Emma’s playful dogs, Emma gave Minnie her own space in the house. We got updates and photos during the day too. We highly recommend Emma and would use her again if we’re traveling in this area again.”

“Very close proximity to the Rocky Mountain National Park, where dogs are not allowed on trails. Gwen and Mikkel were able to watch our pups Angus and Rosie for a day while we were vacation so we could go hiking. Great communication and sent us several pictures as well. We knew our dogs were in great hands which made our day all that more enjoyable. Highly recommend!!!”

About: Hello! I grew up on 5 acres of land, with experience in just about every hooved or pawed furry friend. I also volunteered at a Humane Society for a number of years training and fostering dogs, so I am familiar with working with any little quirks or needs your friend may have. I currently have 3 dogs of my own, as well as our newest addition, our kitty Bopi. Our animals cohabitate as a little pack, we aren't sure if the kitty realizes she isn't a dog like all of her siblings in the home! We are happy to host at our home with a proper meet-and-greet as well as me coming to you if your pet prefers their own home while you're away. Our pets are our family and go on any adventure possible that we can bring them on, and I will treat yours the same! If you do happen to have farm animals other than cats and dogs, I am comfortable taking care of them as well, feel free to inquire! I am currently available full-time, working on home improvements while spending all my extra time with my own fur babies! Your animals will not be left alone during their stay for more than a trip to the store, as I dedicate my time making them comfortable in their home away from home or while missing their person. I have a very large, safe and fenced yard in the heart of Granby. We are a block away from a park, as well as many other amazing parks and walking trails nearby.
“Shanik and family are wonderful pet hosts. Mila loved to spend the days with them. She was happy to play ball outside in the snow for her first time. Shanik took care of Mila while my family and I were out skiing. Mila felt like she was home! Thank you!”

About: I love big dogs, especially GSDs, but have experience with many ages, breeds, and sizes. I grew up with several labs. The last 10 years I raised a German Shepherd from 8 weeks that sadly passed away last summer. Needless to say I miss being covered in dog hair. I have experience with various personalities, separation anxiety, cuts/injuries, and administering medication. I enjoy taking dogs on walks, hikes, and going to parks, but can also just hang out with your pup if that’s what’s desired. I work remote full time and set my own schedule, allowing flexibility all hours and days. I live in a home with plenty of room and a fenced in backyard. Trails are 20 yards away. Reach out if you’d like to set up a meet and greet! I work remotely and make my own schedule, so I’m flexible at all hours and days to provide the care that your dog needs and deserves. Dogs are always welcome in my home! I have plenty of space with a fenced in yard and dogs are allowed on the couch and in the bed. I’m easy to work with, patient (some dogs just like to sniff more than they walk), communicative, and can adjust to any preferred care strategy to provide a trustworthy service while you’re away.

“She was so kind and loving to yogi! Robyn was also really great at communicating with me, especially since my booking was very last minute. Truly appreciated her taking great care of Yogi”

“Incredible! Very communicative- lots of updates and photos throughout Sage's stay. She had a blast with Orion and felt comfortable that she was well taken care of. Will definitely be booking again!”

About: I have experience for 40 years with animals. I have had cats, fish, giant dogs, small dogs and all those in between. I have had puppies and seniors, and I love them all. I work for myself so I can be home when I need to be. I can keep your pups routine so they are happy and comfortable. I have a fenced yard and 2 well behaved dogs to keep your fur baby company. I have a crate avlb if your pup is crate trained.
About: I grew up with animals (even cows!) and am a reliable, loving caretaker for you fur babies while you are away. I treat them like they're my own and understand how important our pets/ babies are to all of us as owners! I have plenty of time and work remote running my own business as a health coach. My availability is 24/7, as I can work my hours around what else is needed. Like it is my own. I want to guarantee safety and loving care while you are away, whether it be special edits, meds, walking a lot, taking them to groomers, and or the dog park.
“Lola had a great day and I know she’ll be excited to go back!! Stuss took the city girl hiking in the snow, jumping over logs…. And he sent me great pictures along the way. Loved the one dog policy. She got all the attention she feels she deserves. I felt really comfortable about her safety with Stuss and look forward to taking her back!”

“Sue was wonderful - she provided my little guy with a safe, warm, and quiet stay in her home while I was at work these past few days. I definitely hope to get in contact with her again and would recommend her to anyone in the keystone area 💕”

About: My partner and I have owned and taken care of dogs for 30 years. We are attentive, responsible, reliable and excited to help! We look forward to getting to know your fur babies! My partner works from home full time and I am home roughly half the time during the week. We have flexible schedules to accommodate pet needs and outside time. Our home is your pets home! We have lots of open space outside and live very close to hiking trails. Our home is clean and safe for your pets to relax.

“Wonderful people we found to watch our old pup Carlton while we adventured in RMNP. Great family very flexible and easy going. It was great getting photos of our pup having a fun time with them while we were searching for moose and chasing waterfalls. Highly recommend!”

“Lisa and her boyfriend were incredible caregivers for Lulu!!! She seemed to get comfortable immediately (which is rare for her) and I got lots of pics and updates to ensure my comfort with this first daycare visit. I feel really lucky to have found Lisa and will absolutely book again.”

“Nicholas was great quick and easy to communicate with. He took our dog Shaka on all his errands for the day (mostly indoors because it was super cold) and hung out with him at his work. Shaka was relaxed and asleep when I collected him.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Fraser
Cherie is truly a dog lover! Our little old Yorkie warmed up to her almost immediately. I was impressed at how Cherie slowly introduced Baxter to her sweet labs. Unfortunately, Baxter has separation anxiety which resulted in more than one episode of diarrhea during his stay. Cherie let me know but didn't complain, which I appreciated because I felt terrible about it! I will definitely call Cherie again and promise to give Baxter a little crumb of imodium before leaving him with her, something I genuinely wish I'd done before dropping him off this time!
This was the perfect place for our Chocolate Lab to stay for the day while we went skiing. I was 100% comfortable with Taylor in minutes after dropping her off. When I picked her up, I could tell our dog was happy and comfortable around Taylor. Will definitely use her again in the future.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Fraser commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
