Ratings and reviews
Elisabeth has been taking care of our dog, Val (aka Val the Wonder Dog - pictured in Elisabeth's profile photo), since long before she started with Rover. There is literally no one else we trust to take her for walks or keep her overnight when we go out of town (even once out of the country) as Val can be quite adventuresome! EB is loving and kind while also very clear about boundaries and keeping Val safe. Her text updates are hilarious and informative with just the right amount of detail. Her most recent walk that we booked through Rover was consistent with the kind of care we have come to expect from Elisabeth. Perhaps the best sign is how happy Val is every time she sees Elisabeth. I know there will be an abundance of belly rubs and walks when needed. Elisabeth and her husband, Mike, truly love dogs and are very knowledgeable when it comes to caring for them; I have learned a few things from them myself. This is best reflected in how much Val loves them and wants to be with them, even if she is always ecstatic when she sees us again!
Elisabeth was thoughtful and caring! She made sure to reach out a day prior to go over details and answer any questions. Would highly recommend.

Elizabeth was an excellent caretaker of my pup, Vito! Immediately I sensed I could trust her with my little one. She was super thorough on first introduction and you could sense that she understood and was very comfortable with dogs. My dog can be shy but he was totally comfortable around her. She was with him every second and gave lots of walk. When his stool was loose she had canned pumpkins on hand for his tummy. She was also super responsive and available when I need to pick him up early in the morning- she had even already taken him for a walk as early as 6 AM to my surprise!! (Which was really thankful for since I had a long drive back and he wasnt restless anticipating a long morning walk). Highly highly recommend her to anyone and will definitely use her in the future. If I could give more stars I would!

Our dogs had the best time! Elisabeth and Mike made them feel right at home and I could not recommend them more; they were quick to reply and sent a lot of great pics as we had them boarded! If you need someone to watch your dogs this is who you should choose

Elisabeth is phenomenal! She watched our pups for 5 days and provided them with the best care. She was very aware of each dog’s needs/rules and was so attentive. We also had some logistical complexity during our time in Steamboat, and she was so easy to work with, super communicative, and very helpful!

Elisabeth is incredibly responsive and caring. I was so happy to hear about the great day Merlin had and felt so comfortable knowing he was well-taken care of and given lots of attention and exercise. Fantastic pet sitter!! One of the most professional people I have ever encountered on Rover.

Schedule
* I work from home and have a very flexible schedule * I'm able to walk dogs very regularly on whatever schedule they normally have * I live up the street from Yampa Core Trail and right by Rita Valentine so ample options to get them out and exercising * 15-45 minutes hikes are very easy to accommodate * My husband is retired so he is also home. He is a SUCKER for an offered belly so often his choosing to work out or doing any work around the house is ignored in favor of rubbing bellies!

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
* I'm in a very quiet and dog-friendly neighborhood. * I have a nice side-yard but it is not fenced in. Dogs are never let out on their own. * Dogs are allowed on furniture and to sleep in bed - I try to follow whatever is the "norm" for them * I have no problem taking dogs in my car to run errands (if they have separation issues) or to have variety at Spring Creek or other nearby walking areas. * For the senior loved ones: there is an enclosed flight of stairs to get into the house. Carrying pups up stairs is NOT an issue - I had an injured gal who was limping and I just picked her up to make it easier. (50-ish lbs)
A typical day
* Short walks for daily bowels and medium-long walks/hike (30-45 minutes) for younger/more active dogs * Tug-of-war, frisbee or ball chasing, lots of cuddles * Cats: fun with laser pointer or catch the fish on the string. Lots of holding for them to knead/"making biscuits"
