Information Hadley P. would like to know about your pet

I have two mellow, older miniature Doberman Pinschers, so cannot accept aggressive dogs into my home. They are generally unfazed by other dogs. One of them has special needs, so I am comfortable administering medications.

A typical day

I will treat your pups as though they are my own and will work with you to determine the best food and walk times. Boarded dogs will go on at least three walks a day, but we can arrange more if necessary.

Pet care experience

I've taken care of dogs and horses all my life, and I am currently a horse rescue volunteer and feel there isn't a pet I can't handle. As an animal lover, I'll love on yours like my own and send you 5,000 pictures of them among the stunning Steamboat scapes along the core trail, where I love to take them on long healthy walks. Most importantly, I know what it's like to travel away from your pet and crave peace of mind that they are taken care of; that is my goal when they are in my care. I work from home with a freelancer schedule. I have two hands-on small dogs, so I am used to high-maintenance dogs and their constant care schedule. I have a home right near the core trail and a small backyard; I take long walks multiple times a day and think that’s one of the most important facets of pet care. I also know what it’s like to be away from your dogs and need peace of mind with your caregiver.

We had such a great experience with Hadley taking care of our 7 year old Yorkie, Blue. She took him for long walks, spent Christmas with him, has a comfy home, and made sure his ear meds were given daily. She sent us photos and updates, which really gave us peace of mind while we were away. She was incredibly kind and attentive. It was clear Blue was well cared for and happy. We would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter.

Hadley was very attentive with my geriatric pup, who has special needs. She also kept me in the loop with photo updates. Would highly recommend!

Just Perfect! Hadley was SO caring and thoughtful when watching our dog Abby. Hadley sent daily updates and pictures so we knew Abby was having a good time and it gave us confidence that she was in good hands while we were away. When we picked Abby up and took her home she was calm and settled in right away which shows how content she was. We had been worried about leaving Abby as she didn’t do well when we left her at a different boarder, but those fears are long gone now. We definitely will be using Hadley in the future!
