About: Hi! :) I’ve been a Steamboat local for 14 years! I have grown up with dogs (had 2 labs) who have both passed. Although I am unable to get another dog right now, I absolutely love dogs (the bigger the better!) and love being around them. I have experience with dog, cat, and house sitting. Longest stay has been 1 week, but definitely open to longer. Have sat in Hayden and Clark and steamboat. We’ll always make time for your pets! We live in Hayden so house/pet sitting in steamboat would be ideal so we can spend more time with them. We would prefer to stay in clients place if possible, No yard at our house but we would take them on walks. It would be both my boyfriend and I!
About: ⚠️ SUMMER WARNING — This Is Important All the inside couch time they want! Your pup is treated as my own. As temperatures rise, the difference between in-home care and a boarding facility becomes a serious safety concern. Your dog will NEVER be left outside in the heat here. No overcrowded outdoor cages. No risk of overheating. No tension from being packed in with unfamiliar dogs that can lead to fights, stress, or injury. Just a cool, comfortable home with someone who genuinely cares ABOUT ME Your dog isn’t a reservation and source of $$. They’re family. I offer in-home boarding, daycare, drop-in visits, and dog walking — all with one simple guarantee: your dog gets the same love, attention, and care I give my own sweet Jazzy Belle. I’ve created a calm, safe, and loving environment where your pet is truly treated as part of our home — not just another booking. DOG BOARDING (In My Home) I take one dog at a time — or up to three from the same family. That’s it. Your dog has my full attention, always. Never left alone. I follow your dog’s existing routine as closely as possible, because consistency is comfort. But we also go the extra mile — we cook fresh, wholesome meals for our girl Jazzy and are happy to do the same for your pup. Think home-cooked rice, air-fried sweet potatoes, and canned tuna — real food made with care. Prefer to keep your dog on their normal diet? No problem at all. You’ll receive regular updates throughout the stay so you never have to wonder — just relax knowing your dog is safe, loved, and living their best life inside a real home not outside in cages and penned up. DOG DAYCARE Calm, structured, and attentive — modeled after your dog’s routine at home. Whether it’s their first time away or they’re a regular, your dog gets focused one-on-one care, positive interaction, and a relaxed, comfortable pace. No chaos. No crowds. Just good company. DROP-IN VISITS (At Your Home) Your home, your rules — I follow your instructions closely for feeding, walks, medications, and companionship. I treat your space with complete respect and keep you updated every step of the way so you always feel at ease. DOG WALKING Safety and reliability, every single walk. I match your dog’s pace and comfort level, stay alert to surroundings, and keep a calm, steady energy. Every outing is a good one. FRESH FOOD OPTIONS — What Makes Me Different Most boarders hand your dog a scoop of dry kibble. Here, they have options: • Cooked white rice — gentle on digestion, perfect for sensitive stomachs • Air-fried sweet potatoes — nutrient-rich, naturally sweet, zero additives • Canned tuna — lean protein that dogs absolutely love • Kibble blend available — mix fresh food with their regular diet for an easy transition • Your diet, fully honored — prefer to keep them on their normal food? Done. No pressure, ever. WHY FAMILIES CHOOSE ME OVER BOARDING FACILITIES • Only 1 dog (or 1 family) at a time — your dog is never competing for attention • A real home environment — not a kennel, not a cage, not a facility • Your dog will NEVER be left outside in summer heat • No overcrowding means zero risk of dog fights or stress • Fresh home-cooked meals available — not just a bag of kibble • Routine-based care that keeps dogs calm and comfortable • Regular photo and message updates so you always feel connected • Every dog is treated the way I’d want someone to care for my Jazzy Belle FOR FIRST-TIME ROVER USERS I completely understand the nerves — handing your dog off to someone new is a big deal. I want you to feel confident from the very first message. I communicate openly, follow your instructions carefully, and treat your pet like my own. Your peace of mind matters just as much as your dog’s comfort, and I work hard to earn both. Because I work remotely as a Realtor and property manager, I don’t need to leave the house while boarding. I’m home 100% of the day, allowing for consistent supervision, regular walks, feeding on schedule, and plenty of attention. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, not around it. My flexible schedule allows me to adjust to each dog’s needs, and I’m also available for pickup and drop-off if needed. We’re a warm, cozy, dog-loving household and look forward to welcoming you and your best friend into our home. DOG BOARDING (IN MY HOME) I treat every dog the same way I would want someone to care for my sweet Jazzy Belle. For first-time Rover users, I understand how important it is to feel confident leaving your dog in someone else’s home. I follow your feeding, walking, and rest schedule as closely as possible, since routine helps reduce anxiety and keeps dogs comfortable in a new environment. Your dog will be closely supervised, loved, and treated like part of our family. I’m always happy to provide updates so you can feel at ease while you’re away. DOG DAYCARE If this is your first time using Rover, you can feel confident knowing your dog will receive calm, attentive care in a safe, supervised environment. I stick to your dog’s normal routine as much as possible because consistency helps dogs relax—even during short stays. Your dog will get positive interaction, structured activity, and plenty of attention, just like I give my own. DROP-IN VISITS (AT YOUR HOME) I know it can feel stressful having someone care for your pet in your home, especially if you’re new to Rover. I treat your home and your pets with the same respect and care I expect for my own. I follow your instructions closely for feeding, walks, medications, and companionship, and I’m happy to send updates so you know your pet is safe and comfortable. DOG WALKING For first-time Rover users, safety and reliability are always my top priorities. Walks are done calmly and carefully, based on your dog’s pace, comfort level, and routine. I pay close attention to leash handling, surroundings, and your dog’s needs so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands—even when you’re not home.
About: First, I live in Craig, but willing to try to make pickups work in Steamboat, meeting halfway or we travel for the gym often, so please don't hesitate to reach out to discuss. We have a large yard that is great for active dogs. There is always an adult in the house to watch/care for your pup, my mother in law lives with us, Mark is home often and we have 2 kids, ages 10 and 12. I enjoy being around dogs, and feel comfortable dealing with some simple behavior issues. I am very specific with my dog and willing to be as specific with yours if needed. I am active and can give walks daily. Please don't hesitate to let me know if any special needs and I'll do my best to be accommodating. I am active lifestyle and so going on walks and waking up early are part of my normal process. I am willing to work with any situation as best I can. I maintain control of situations and always attentive to behaviors or signs of fear or aggression to make sure it is addressed before any issues arise. I used to train horses when I was younger so the patience and consistency is something I've grown up with towards animals.
“Absolutely wonderful to work with! Her communication was absolutely amazing and she treated our home and more importantly our baby girl with so much kindness and respect we have no words! We 100% recommend her!”

About: Since I’m unable to have a pet of my own, pet sitting is something I truly enjoy! I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a kid. I am very familiar with animal husbandry, as I grew up caring for livestock along with our family animals too. I currently work a very flexible schedule, especially in the summer time. I currently have a mini Aussie, Olive, who is 4 so I am used to energy as well. We have also always had cats in my family and have recently welcomed a new kitten, Gnocchi. I have lovingly cared for my own pets and others including for families I previously nannied for. I hope I can be a good fit for you and your furry family! I currently work full-time Tuesday-Saturday. I can take walk breaks if needed during the day and can do mornings/evenings. On my days off I am available for all day care. “I've used Mayra twice now. One time Ally stayed with her and this last time she came by the house a couple times while I was out of town. Best service I've had and will continue to use Mayra when she's available! ”

About: Greetings! Caring for animals is second nature to me. I grew up in Southern Minnesota on a hobby ranch that nurtured my deep love for animals. As I got older, I found myself in similar situations- constantly surrounded by animals of all kinds and more often than not, finding myself more at peace when surrounded by them. From cities and slopes in CO to the vast landscapes and ranches in WY, I've always worked with and looked after animals of all kinds. Your critters are in good hands with me! Besides my love for animals, I am trustworthy and genuine. I served as a Mental Health Child Counselor, Preschool Teacher, Autism Specialist, and Career Nanny for over 10 years. I own two nanny and babysitting agencies where i work from home. My passions in life include teaching mindfulness and meditation, traveling, and seeing live music. Pet Care fits into my life very easily and fluidly because I work from home, build my own schedule, and can adapt to the needs of each day. All in all, I'm a good listener and will follow the needs and requests of my clients. I am very hands-on and love to be present and engaging depending on need. The more love I can give the better. Your home will be cared for like it was my own.

As of July 2026, there are 54 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Hayden. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Hayden. On Rover:
- 91% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
