About: Hello, my name is Daya. I’ve been working with animals, technically my entire life and I know that’s what you typically read.. when I was younger I had roosters, chickens, guinea pigs, rabbit, lizards, and birds. I was seeking to becoming a veterinarian technician, but I know that wasn’t my real passion. I became a Dog trainer, now for 6 years. I have been working with reactive dogs (aggressive) and the reason why I say reactive is because our dogs react towards something that makes our dogs look aggressive or probably are. I make sure as a Dog Trainer and the pet parent have a clear understanding what we need to do to help out our dogs. The training I do is obedience. I came to Rover to help out pet parents in need and not just with training but to also care for your furry friend when you're at work. Not only am I a Dog trainer, but I’m also a dog bather at my job. So, I don’t just train dogs. I make sure they are groomed well and again I just bathe. I Do Not cut hair. I want to make sure that our furry friends are clean and healthy so when they are in our home or it’s summer, they feel fresh and fine. I am also a pet parent myself. I have two cats and two dogs of my own. In the picture that you see on Rover, I am Daya the person on the right side. Every day I need to make sure that my babies are fed and well. As myself I do have and work a full-time job, thankfully. I exercise my dogs and cats before I head to work to make sure they move around before I head to work because I know they’re probably just waiting for me to come home.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life - both young and old. I also have experience working with both cat and dog rescues and fostering. Most of my experience is with sporting dogs and toy dogs, so my expertise runs the gamut! I currently have a 5lbs senior Maltese named Minnie who is with me when I pet sit. She mostly keeps to herself but gets along with all animals. I am currently available weekdays and some evenings per week - mostly Thursdays through Sunday. Please see schedule for specific info when booking your service. I will take care of your pet in my home as long as you need. I am good with puppies, senior dogs, giving medication, basic health care and also certified in pet first aid. At my house I have a lovely grassy yard and spacious backyard for the dogs to play in a comfortable environment for your pet. I am happy to give a tour of my home prior to your booking - so you can see inside and out.

About: I have worked in the animal care field for nearly 4 years, I worked full time at a popular small dog daycare for 3 1/2 years in Manhattan beach. From puppies, senior pups, shy pups to outgoing pups i have experienced them all. I also took a vet assistant class and learned basic medical care such as oral medication, how to cool a pup down in the hot weather. I’m currently not working full time due to my job unfortunately closing its location, I will be available nearly full time for dog boarding, daycare, walks etc. I have many fur parents from my prior job following me for in home sitting and my schedule is filling up quickly! Please try to book ahead as much as possible to be able to be squeezed in I make sure the area whether indoor or outdoor is fully secure of escape or even the possibility of having a stray dog coming in, make sure anything toxic or dangerous to pets is out of reach

About: I used to have a dog that I loved very much! I walked her, played with her, and loved spending time with her. I love dogs very much and would love to spend time with yours. I still go to high school so during the weekdays i’m not available until after 2:30. Most weekends though I am free to spend time with your dogs. I care for pets by spending time with them, always walking them, and making sure they’re always fed and walkways have enough water at all times.

About: I got my first dog 14 years ago and he’s still running around being the fluffiest pup on the block. Since then I’ve also cared for 2 more pups, 4 cats, a bunny, and a hamster. I’ve cared for pets of all ages and with various different needs. I’ve rescued pets which involved handling after surgeries, administering medications, bathing, feeding often, and it’s all worth it to see a tail wagging again. I’m free to watch your kitty/pup (all ages) on weekends. Fridays starting at 5pm. I can stay over Friday and Saturday nights. Availability ends Sunday 5pm. I’m careful to read all instructions before arriving, I ask any questions I may have ahead of time. I will get there promptly, wait for the pet to approach me and not approach until their body language indicates it’s ok to do so. Start on the tasks at hand and if needed handle them with love and care. Be very patient with them and ensure all messes the furry baby made are cleaned up. Give a summary of care and anything that stood out regarding behavior/health/environment.
