“Amazing experience. I myself am brand new to letting someone new watch our dog. Shardae is incredible attentive to each of the animals in her care. She notes all details to provide thoughtful and thorough updates about your pet. I loved the pictures that she sent of my pup so happy. I would strongly recommend.”

“Angela is an amazing at caring for our skittish doggie, and she is even flexible enough to accommodate drop ins for our kitties! Can't rave enough about how good she is. She takes time to get our fur babies acclimated to things, is very patient, provides daily updates and even a "Pawgress Report" for us when the booking is complete! Simply awesome! 😃”

“Noreen is so sweat! She was so easy to communicate with and extremely understanding of our travel plans. Our little boy Oli was in such great hands. Would highly recommend Noreen to anyone looking to spend quality time with their pup.”

“Emily and her dog Maple were great at taking care of my dog, Leo! He loved playing with Maple. She was also super accommodating on some scheduling changes for drop off and pickup times for boarding. Would definitely recommend using her for daycare and boarding.”

“Jenny and her husband did amazing taking care of our Beaux!! We really enjoyed the updates and beautiful pics of our pup. I can tell she had a really great time that she even made sure to say bye before leaving. She even came home with a cute bandana 🥹 I would definitely let Beaux stay with them again. Thank you so much!!”

“We are so grateful to have found Jeanne to care for our dog, Luglio. From the very beginning, she was warm, responsive, and clearly experienced with dogs. She made us feel completely at ease while we were away, sending regular updates and the sweetest photos that showed just how happy and relaxed Luglio was in her care. Jeanne went above and beyond to make sure Luglio felt at home, giving him plenty of love, walks, and attention. It was obvious she treated him like one of her own. He came back to us happy, calm, and well cared for—exactly what every dog parent hopes for. We’ll absolutely be booking with Jeanne again. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, attentive, and loving dog sitter!”

“Christy and her family were so great and welcoming to our pup. He was loved, well cared for, and so happy when we picked him up that we knew he was in the perfect place. We feel lucky to have found Christy’s home and have no doubt we will use her again.”

“Marilyn is so professional and reliable, we are so happy to have found her. She took our dogs last minute and we have definitely found our fit! She has a very large yard which includes a huge portion of it dedicated for dogs which is separated by a fence, just what our furry friends needed, not to mention the care and individual attention that she provided. I would definitely recommend her, and I am sure we will be back. Thanks much Marilyn!!”

“Jess and Max are incredible! They shared the sweetest pictures and updates while we were away. Luna came back in great spirits and we know she had the best time and was very well cared for. We will definitely reach out to Jess and Max when we need a dog sitter in the future. We felt like Luna had her own weekend vacation while we were away on ours!”

“I didn’t have anyone to watch my dog when I went to the hospital to deliver my baby. Then I found Harley! She was very accommodating with the date because I wasn’t sure exactly when I was going to deliver and also I was very nervous about leaving my dog but Harley would send me pictures and keep me posted and reply to my text messages right away. The second time I left my dog with Harley, my dog had diarrhea and Harley took very good care of her and even gave her dog (Dixie’s) medication for diarrhea, of course with my permision. She’s the best!!!!”

“As usual, Jami & Frances were fantastic! My dog Murphy is pretty much a regular with them. They love him and treat him like family every time he stays with them. Communication is always clear and timely and I couldn't ask for a better sitter. They are simply wonderful.”

“Birgitta, her husband and son provided Scully with a great weekend away from home! Consistent updates in the form of photos and quick messages on their activities for the day helped us be very comfortable that Scully was being well taken care of. I would recommend Birgitta to anyone looking for great pet care, and will certainly be booking her in the future!”

“Sheila and her daughter were dream sitters for Bernice. They treated her like she was one of their own and spoiled her rotten. I already have plans to book them again in a couple of weeks.”

“My sweet little Lulu loves Vanessa and Christian. They send regular updates and pictures and I can see that she is having a good time. I love that she is so well taken care of. I would highly recommend Vanessa and will be using her again.”
“Taylor was an amazing dog sitter for our sweet Maggie, and we are so incredibly thankful for her services! She was thorough in getting to know our pet’s needs prior to the stay, and it was obvious she genuinely cared for our dog and pets in general. It’s hard for our older chihuahua to be comfortable in new environments, and I could tell our dog immediately cozied up to Taylor. We are so thankful she was willing to be with our Maggie after we booked at the last second, and she went above and beyond to ensure she was well taken care of! We will most certainly be booking with Taylor again when needed :)”

About: I have had cats since I was 3 but I’ve had 2 cats I can call my own for the last 6 years. I’ve also helped out with fostering cats and have been able to find 5 cats their forever home 🤍. I get that they like to set boundaries and will let you know when it’s time to give them attention.

“Liz did an excellent job following my litany of instructions for a week long house sitting. She had a 100% success rate with insulin injections on my diabetic cat. Very happy and will book her again for another vacation”

About: Hi everyone my name is Angie and I may be new to Rover but I am not new to loving and caring for precious pups. I currently don't have any dogs living with me but prior to July 2025 I had my own fur babies since 1992. I decided this would be a wonderful way for me to get some puppy love, bring peace of mind to traveling pet parents, and make some money while providing a loving service. I have taken care of many of my friends pups along the way. Saki, Sophie, Sushi, Bodhi, Lucy, and Honey. I also occasionally foster dogs to help my friend's rescue. I would love to meet and care for your babies. My home is a safe and loving space for pups to play and have their "stay-cation"!! I work from home and will be available to be with the pet pretty much all day. Consistent time outdoors will be provided weather permitting. I have a fenced yard with plenty of room to play or grab that nice patch of sunshine to nap in. I maintain a clean and calm environment.
“Indra did an amazing job dropping in to check on out pets during our trip. She was prompt, reliable, and communicative. She took extra care giving out pets the type of attention they like, and shared great pictures and videos with us daily. Would highly recommend.”

About: I have been dog sitting and dog walking for friends and neighbors for about 15 years now. I have done dog sitting for various breeds including chihuahuas, corgis, german shepherds, aussies, poodles, etc. so I know how different their energy levels can be but can handle it all! Depending on what you are comfortable with, your dogs stay will include trips to the dog park, long walks around the neighborhood, playing with my own doggo, and of course being showered with love. I have my own Australian Shepherd who loves meeting new friends! Both of us would love to get the chance to spend some time with your doggo! I do work full time but I work earlier in the day so have afternoons / evenings free for drop-in’s, walks, etc for your doggo! I’ll treat your pupper the way I’d want a sitter to treat my baby and of course that includes sending tons of pics of your fur baby to you while I’m there :)

“My 1.5 year old Chihuahua takes a minute to warm up to any stranger and the moment that Yu-Yen walked through the door for his first walk he needed belly rubs from her!! And even on their walk! (Which he never does haha) she’s so kind and showed up right on time and she’s even now doing an overnight stay for four days with him because he loved her so much! 10/10 would recommend”

“Eva was wonderful! Our cat Nala was so lucky to have her and so were we. She went out of her way to care for a cat, and make sure our home was okay. She sent daily pictures and followed instructions that were given for care. We were so lucky to have her and will be absolutely booking her again in the future!”

“Lipika was the greatest. What piece of mind I had on my trip. This service is so worth it. The pictures and comment go a long way. Last time I asked a friend and I didn’t feel the care that Lipika had. Thank you for great people like her and I will book again for my upcoming trip in June and September!”

About: Cats have always had a special place in my heart, and I love getting to know each one’s unique personality. With over 10 years of experience caring for cats, I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, fresh water, litter box cleaning, playtime, administering lots of affection (if they want it!), and making sure they feel safe while you’re away. I’ll treat your cat like my own and provide the patience, love, and attention they deserve. 🐾
About: Dogs and cats trainer. I know how hard it is to leave the love of your life. But for those moments, I'm here to help. I work fully remote. I study in the afternoon for my masters which for the next couple months until graduation will limit my type of services. Although anything can be coordinated upon request. Your pet will have its own bedroom unless cuddles are required. Parks are available around my place to go for a good walk. Building is petfriendly.
“Birgitta made all visits including checking robot litter box, auto feeders, and water. She kept close contact and provided status updates on the rover.com app. We arrived home early and was able to help with the final 8th day feeding without issues. The cat looked great. Thanks for taking good care for 'Nile.'”

“We were very happy to meet and book Kendra to babysit our cat. Just talking to her you understand immediately that she gets animals. Very patient and kind. Based on the videos she sent us of the check-ins I can tell that Mynx made a new buddy! Will definitely be reaching out again whenever we need a cat sitter.”

“We have used Amelia twice now for drop in visits for our two cats. She is extremely responsive and our kitties love her. I feel so much more relaxed while traveling knowing our babies are in good hands with her!”

About: I began dog sitting a couple of years ago for the families I babysat for. When they would go out of town I would bring my furry friends home with me. I’ve always enjoyed taking them to the nearby parks and beaches around me. When they stay with me they are taken care for and treated like family. I work full time but I’m free on the weekends and occasionally on Fridays. My availability is mainly on the weekends since I am home. When I bring them home with me I like to have their bed and food set up in my living room. I have a back yard where they can hang out as well. I like to keep them in their routine and walk them frequently so they’re not inside all day. I try to do the same even if they stay in their home. I will check in as often as I can and will take them on longer walks when they stay in their home since I am not there the whole day as I would be in my own home.
About: Ever since I was a little girl, animals have honestly always been apart of my life and I always see it as a blessing. So from time to time when I can, I do rescue some strays that I find and give them loving homes. I also have a dog of my own named Gizmo who I love dearly. Whenever I get an opportunity to dog/cat sit neighbors or family's pet, I will always treat them as my own. I also volunteer at shelters, or dog shops to help walk them and feed them, make them feel love and comfort. The number one thing that I prioritize is animals safety and my full attention towards them. I do love to play with them, pet them to sleep, and sometimes sing to them to calm them down at times when feeling anxious. Dog/cat sitting is something I love and will always love.

“This was his very first time at an all-day daycare, and I was honestly pretty nervous leaving him. From the start, Shardae made everything feel so easy and reassuring. She sent thoughtful updates and photos throughout the day, and every single one showed a happy, relaxed pup who was clearly being cared for and loved. Seeing him playing and comfortable truly put my mind at ease. All I ever want is for my dog to feel safe, happy, and loved, and that is exactly what Shardae provided. Total success. I would absolutely trust her again and recommend her to anyone looking.”

“Kyle was quick to reply to a last minute dog sitting request, and I’m so grateful he was able to help. He was flexible, accommodating, and very responsive throughout the entire process. This was my first time putting my puppy in daycare, but he reassured me and made me feel confident that my puppy was in good hands. About: Last year we said goodbye to our thirty pound poodle mix after 17 amazing years. Our kids, ages 15, 12, 9, and 5 have had a dog in the home all their lives and while we aren't ready to get a new dog just yet we would love to take care of yours! My husband Liam, always had dogs in his family’s house growing up. We have a spacious home and fenced back yard in a quiet Hawthorne neighborhood close to LAX. It’s easy for us to let the dogs out back throughout the day and to go for frequent walks around the block. We used Rover for our own dog so we know how great it feels to know that your pup is being taken care of like family while you are away. Poodles, poodle mixes, and smaller dogs are preferred but there’s always exceptions. My husband Liam, and I both work from home so there's always an adult around to make sure the dogs are taking care of. We live in a quiet neighborhood that's easy to take the dogs on walks. And with our backyard we can let the dogs out for frequent bathroom breaks if needed. We have a completely fenced in back yard that our dog loved in his time here. Our older children are at school or activities for most of the day so the dogs will generally have the run of the house.

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and can’t imagine a day without them! Whether it’s playtime, walks, or snuggles, I treat every dog like my own, making sure they feel loved and comfortable while you’re away! I work from home Monday through Friday, which means I’m available throughout the day to care for your pup. From playtime to outdoor walks, I’ll be there to keep them happy, active, and comfortable whenever they need me! Whether it’s playtime, potty breaks, or just some extra belly rubs, I’m always nearby to meet their needs. I also live in a safe, pet-friendly residential area with plenty of sidewalks and green spaces, making walks both enjoyable and secure. Your dog’s safety and happiness are my top priorities, and I’ll treat them like family while they’re in my care! My dog is also crate trained, potty trained and gentle.

“Everything about Cassie's stay was great! She was worn out when i picked her up, which was exactly what i wanted! She played with Joey and Dixie all day long and had a great time. Harley was very diligent with pictures and communication and made sure i knew everything that was going on with my puppy throughout the day. Excellent stay and highly recommended!”

About: I have my dog for 14 years. And all my friends or family know how much I love her and that we take care of her I'm not working right now. I just had a baby. And I want to spend most of the time with him. And I think I can dedicate time to the pets and my baby I have a fenced patio. My pet is friendly, it is not Brava at all, my pets to take care of can climb on the furniture. I will take care of them according to the client's instructions

“Patricia did a great job walking Patches and spent quality time with her. We felt at ease knowing our fur baby was well taken care off. We will definitely use her again! Five stars for you!????”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 7 years old, starting with my own family pets. Over the years, that grew into helping with family friends’ dogs and even walking and sitting for neighbors who trusted me with their pets. Friends, family, and neighbors know me as dependable, loving, and attentive, so I’ve often been the first person they think of when they need someone to care for their dogs. I love everything about dogs—their loyalty, energy, and unique personalities. Whether it’s going on long walks, keeping up with playful pups, or providing gentle care for senior dogs, I’m patient and attentive to each dog’s individual needs. I’m also comfortable with the basics of puppy care, such as crate training, potty breaks, and reinforcing good habits. My goal is always to make sure your dog feels safe, loved, and happy while you’re away. As a college student, I have open availability from Monday through Sunday, which makes pet care a perfect fit for my routine. I enjoy spending my time caring for animals, whether that’s through walks, playtime, or providing comfort and companionship. In my home, I have a backyard where pets can enjoy fresh air and playtime in a safe space. I also live with my mom and sister, who both love animals just as much as I do. That means your pet will get plenty of love and attention not just from me, but from my family as well. At the same time, we’re all very mindful of respecting each pet’s boundaries and making sure they feel comfortable at their own pace. If needed, I can also crate your dog or give them their own space so they feel secure. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make sure to follow their usual routine—feeding on schedule, refreshing water, going on walks, and giving playtime or snuggles depending on what the pet enjoys most. I keep their space tidy, safe, and stress-free so they feel happy and cared for while you’re away.

I am a college student at Cypress college. I have now finished my 2 years as a full time student & have become a part time student for now! I am also now currently working as a part time Behavior therapist. So doing rover fits perfectly into my schedule right now as it is not so cramped. About: I’ve taken care of my family dogs but my sister friend wanted us to dog sit at our house while they went away and she fell in love with us and so did we ! they had moved her with a different owner and when they would check in on her they saw she was scared and alone in the garage with no food then she reached out to us and we took her in and in less than a month she was a whole new dog she would love to cuddle with us in the bed she would let others pet her and she loves to play with other dogs her size only haha. I am working at my job from 8-5pm Monday - Friday. I will be available to working after work and on the weekends to help take and walk dogs. I have two fenced gate to keep my dog inside and safe. We park our cars inside so we are able to put our dogs in safely when we entered.
About: In 2012 I got my little Yorkie Paisley from a place called Puppy Town. Over the years me and Paisley has grown close and she has become my best friend. Within a few days, I had housebroken her, at first she didn’t know how to walk on a leash, but was practice and patience, she became a master of walking on a leash to the point that she enjoys walking. Although Paisley does not enjoy baths, I do give baths and it brings me joy to see her fresh and clean I have to brush her every day to maintain that beautiful golden coat. I’m afraid to clip her nails so I will take her to Banfield hospital to get her nails clipped. Over the years Paisley became older, and her eye sight has declined, so every morning I have to take the time to take her to her food. She knows where the bathroom is at, but sometimes she’ll have accidents and I have to be patient with her and I have to clean up her accidents and I have to keep an eye on her at all times to make sure she doesn’t hurt herself. Her food and water is still in the same place however, I had to rearrange some furniture and things to make it easier for her to get around… Every summer, I will purchase flea and tick protection, cause I can’t have no pests bothering my baby! Paisley is my best friend and even though she can’t see me anymore, she can sense when I’m there and still wants to cuddle up under me. I’m a landscape photographer, so I do do work in the golden hours however, I’ll be available to watch your best friend Monday through Friday in the early mornings 6am -5pm and also I can watch your furry friend in the evenings 7pm - 12am Weekends 6am - 5pm. Was Paisley I get up sometimes she sleeps but if she is up, she will automatically go to the bathroom when she’s done in the bathroom. I will take her to her bowls. I will feed her while she’s eating. I will clean up what it’s called a wee wee pad I live in an apartment and my room is pet friendly so your fur baby will have toys and also they will have water as well, in the kitchen is where I have their food so they will have access to food and water in the kitchen. Also, I live by a local park so your fur baby will never have to worry about being bored because I will take on walks to the park. Your fur baby will never be bored with me. We will go to the park, play with toys ,and I believe fur babies should always be indoors with a watchful eye.

I have an open availability right now for any day of the week and weekend. I would be able to dog sit whenever there is an opportunity to. About: Hi, I’m Derick! I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life and have been actively helping care for pets through our family’s pet care business. I assist with daily walks, feeding, playtime, administering medications when needed, and making sure each dog feels comfortable and safe in our home. I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies to senior dogs who need extra patience and attention. I understand that every dog has their own personality and routine, so I take the time to get to know each pet and provide individualized care. Because there is almost always someone home, dogs receive plenty of supervision, companionship, exercise, and affection throughout the day. I love spending time outdoors, going on walks, playing fetch, and helping pets feel relaxed and at home while their families are away. My goal is simple: to treat every dog like they’re part of the family and give pet parents peace of mind knowing their furry friend is safe, happy, and well cared for. One thing that makes our home special is that someone is always home! I’m home full time this summer, both of my parents are retired, and my youngest sibling is 15 and home for the summer as well. Whether it’s me or another member of my family, your pup will always have company, plenty of love, and attentive care. We make sure every dog feels safe, comfortable, and part of the family🏠🐾❤️ Your pup’s safety, happiness, and comfort are at the heart of everything we do. ❤️ Someone is always home whether it’s me or one of my family members so your dog will always have loving company and attentive care. We closely supervise playtime, potty breaks, mealtimes, and rest to make sure every pup feels safe, relaxed, and right at home. Our fully fenced backyard is perfect for supervised outdoor fun, and we’re lucky to live right next to a park for enjoyable walks and extra sniffing adventures! On hot days, we keep everyone cool inside our home, with plenty of breaks outside as needed. We treat every dog like they’re part of our family, giving them lots of love, attention, and cuddles while making sure they feel comfortable throughout their stay. 🏡🐾💕

“Shiyibin did a great job with our golden retriever! She gave her lots of walks and we got regular updates and prompt communication. I would definitely book her again!”

We felt very comfortable leaving our pup with her we cannot recommend Brandie enough and look forward to see her again.”

“Best dog sitters ever!! We just moved to the area and were very nervous about finding a new sitter. April and Nathan are so warm and friendly, and obviously big dog lovers. They sent lots of updates and the dogs came home spoiled and exhausted. It was like leaving them with family. ❤️”

“Marco provides a great service for us and our dog Tango. Tango loves going there, getting play time and lots of walks. We know he is well taken care of while we are gone so we can relax a little more while away. We highly recommend Marco!”

“Michele offered such tender, loving care for our little baby girl who had the time of her life while she was with sitting her - we felt secure, leaving her in her care and she communicated frequently and sent lots of videos- we are so grateful for all the time that you spent with her and the experience she got to have !”

“Definitely 5 stars, great sitter. Very attentive to me and my Brink’s needs. Sent daily photos and kept in touch. My Brinks seemed to really enjoy his stay and took a real liking to his sitter 🥰..”

“Melanie was AMAZING! I am so happy to have found her. It’s always a little unsettling leaving your dog behind on vacation, but knowing she was with Melanie (and basically on vacation herself!) put us at so much ease. Zoe had so many great adventures during her 1-week stay, from pack walks in the hills to the beach and beyond. Melanie and her family treated Zoe like a member of their family, which made us so happy. Melanie was super communicative and sent photos of their adventures daily. We’ll definitely be taking Zoe back to Melanie next time we need someone to look after her!”

“Topo + Coco LOVE Ryan! Highly recommend booking with him if you need some help with your dogs in the West LA area :). They always come back tired too which is great for us coming back from holiday traveling 🤣. We appreciate the care he puts into them!”

“Alicia and her 2 boys took wonderful care of my golden retriever. Rilee. It's such a comfort to know that my dog was so well cared for and loved while I was out of town. I will definitely be using alicia when I go out of town again.”
