“Bradley and Greta LOVE Jared. We hired him to give them a mid-day break/walk while we were unavailable and he gave them so much more than we were hoping for! He not only took them on a 30+ walk around Green Lake, but he also took them to the dog park to ensure our pups were nice and tired before returning them home. Even though it was only a walk, he gave updates about his arrival/departure times, what they were doing, and how the dogs were. Our dogs were super happy and exhausted when we returned, so we know they're looking forward to seeing Jared again. We plan to use Jared for both our dog walking and house sitting needs in the future. He's our favorite sitter so far!”

About: In 2012 I got my little Yorkie Paisley from a place called Puppy Town. Over the years me and Paisley has grown close and she has become my best friend. Within a few days, I had housebroken her, at first she didn’t know how to walk on a leash, but was practice and patience, she became a master of walking on a leash to the point that she enjoys walking. Although Paisley does not enjoy baths, I do give baths and it brings me joy to see her fresh and clean I have to brush her every day to maintain that beautiful golden coat. I’m afraid to clip her nails so I will take her to Banfield hospital to get her nails clipped. Over the years Paisley became older, and her eye sight has declined, so every morning I have to take the time to take her to her food. She knows where the bathroom is at, but sometimes she’ll have accidents and I have to be patient with her and I have to clean up her accidents and I have to keep an eye on her at all times to make sure she doesn’t hurt herself. Her food and water is still in the same place however, I had to rearrange some furniture and things to make it easier for her to get around… Every summer, I will purchase flea and tick protection, cause I can’t have no pests bothering my baby! Paisley is my best friend and even though she can’t see me anymore, she can sense when I’m there and still wants to cuddle up under me. Was Paisley I get up sometimes she sleeps but if she is up, she will automatically go to the bathroom when she’s done in the bathroom. I will take her to her bowls. I will feed her while she’s eating. I will clean up what it’s called a wee wee pad I live in an apartment and my room is pet friendly so your fur baby will have toys and also they will have water as well, in the kitchen is where I have their food so they will have access to food and water in the kitchen. Also, I live by a local park so your fur baby will never have to worry about being bored because I will take on walks to the park. Your fur baby will never be bored with me. I’ve cared for pets of all ages and with various different needs. I’ve rescued pets which involved handling after surgeries, administering medications, bathing, feeding often, and it’s all worth it to see a tail wagging again. I’m free to watch your kitty/pup (all ages) on weekends. Fridays starting at 5pm. I can stay over Friday and Saturday nights. Availability ends Sunday 5pm. I’m careful to read all instructions before arriving, I ask any questions I may have ahead of time. I will get there promptly, wait for the pet to approach me and not approach until their body language indicates it’s ok to do so. Start on the tasks at hand and if needed handle them with love and care. Be very patient with them and ensure all messes the furry baby made are cleaned up. Give a summary of care and anything that stood out regarding behavior/health/environment.

Jake M.
“Jake has been responsible for multiple dogs in the past and has shown that he truly enjoys their company through the way he talks to them and treats them. He ensures their safety at all times by preventing them from straying too far, being cautious around other dogs and people, and being wary of where they walk and what they are sniffing around. He is always delighted to see dogs and continues to talk about them even after their interactions.”

Pamela R.
“I've known Pamela for 10 years now. She is very caring, responsible, intelligent, and hard-working. She has always been an animal lover- having rescue animals of her own and helping to take care of family pets. She would be a great addition to the company and love on the animals as if they're her own.”

Hawthorne dog parents share their Rover experiences
I couldn’t be happier with Emily. She’s reliable, friendly, and respectful to my German Shepard puppy. I really appreciate the updates and photos during the walk—it gives me peace of mind knowing my dog is in such good hands. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog walker!

Rhys is the BEST!!! It is a miracle I found him. My dog absolutely loves him and he is SO good with her. (And she is very high energy). He always responds to me quickly and is extremely dependable, kind, and caring. I trust him with my life! Thank you Rhys for always helping us and going above and beyond to get my dog so much exercise. So glad to have you!

Sarah took my pup out and got him to walk and potty in the rain. I can’t do that. She also helped a bit with the destruction he left in my apartment after I had the audacity to leave for work without him. She even brought over some boxes for him to destroy (at my request) so he didn’t destroy something more dangerous. If I am ever brave enough to leave my pup home alone again, I won’t hesitate to ask Sarah to feed and walk him. She was very helpful with all I asked her to do as I tried to make the best of a bad situation.

Sarah was very communicative and helpful with my pup’s first extended time home alone while I was working. He broke out of his pen and Sarah helped calm him down after his walk when he was going a little crazy in his crate. She tried to adjust the pen so he couldn’t break out, but I’m not sure anything would stop him from getting to the door and he broke out again. But after all that, the only damage he did was he chewed up a receipt. Sarah did a great job of calming him down before she left
