About: I’ve had 3 cats and 3 dogs, and I understand that every animal has its own personality and special needs. My 7 year old loves all dogs and all she wants to do is babysit dogs. Both of my kids are very responsible and caring. They love taking dogs for walks, playing with them, snuggling with them, feeding them, even picking up their poop! I work from home, and my husband is also home most of the time. We don’t typically go away, so we are available most weekends. My husband, my 2 daughters, and I are all responsible for the care of the animals. We follow the pet owner’s care instructions, and make sure the animals are safe and happy. We play, walk, and snuggle as often as the animals need!

About: Animals are a man’s best friend and I strongly believe in this proverb. I have volunteered multiple years for different shelters and agencies primarily with Dog Days; loving, caring and giving much vital attention to dogs in need. Fostering dogs has been one of the most rewarding experiences that may not pay in cash but the endless amount of love and the fulfilling feeling that leaves a mark on your heart making a dog feel loved and safe is priceless. I strongly encourage anyone who is interested in adopting a dog or becoming a dog owner to foster. I have helped nurtured dogs with behavior issues, training, and socializing, and I have also pet sat for creatures of all sizes from fish to horse. I have given medication to multiple animals and I am large animal rescued certified. I care for many of our special needs pets with ease because my kindness, patience and attention creates a bond that has pets loving me immediately. I am caring and compassionate to all of the pets in my care.

About: I am an exceptional dog trainer which is another service that I provide. I don't mind working with troubled or hard cases. Raised dogs half my life. Used to be deeply involved with different rescue operations and local vets to do what I can for these pups. Also have experience with dog boarding at corporate facilities however I run everything right out of my home. So it's more like visiting your pups uncle Marco rather than a lil puppy prison. My other day job is taking care of my handicapped mother so no reason that I can't take care if some furry balls of move too while I'm at it! I'm home often which is where I board and watch the puppers. So we have a fenced in back yard and a large house. My mother does smoke but only upstairs and in her room. Bad mother! However its relatively isolated and isnt noticeable from downstairs. We have a 5 year old labrador retriever and small house cat to keep any visitors entertained! They are both very playful, gentle and non aggressive

I have a large yard and 3 cats that can easily be separated from your pet if needed. If your dog is crate trained I can easily crate them

About: I grew up in a home full of pets (dogs and fish!) and have nearly a decade of hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, and everything in between. From walking and feeding to giving animals meds and hugs, I’ve done nearly everything both for my own pets and for neighbors’ pets! I’m familiar with a wide range of breeds, temperaments, and needs, and I always tailor my care to each animal’s personality. Additionally: I have a degree in Environmental Studies, and am also great with houseplants and happy to keep them thriving while you're away! About: I’ve always been surrounded by animals, at one point having three dogs and five cats. I am active for the animals who need it and patient for the ones who are more relaxed, and would love to take care of your pet! Currently, I am not working and have a ton of time on my hands to pet sit. I am free most mornings, afternoons, and nights. Have I two cats at home, so I can care for another cat separated into my room, or possibly keep a super friendly dog that does well with cats. I am always available to care of any type of pet in the comfort of someone else’s house.

About: Hi, I'm Ashley! I have several years of petsitting experience, though I'm new to the Rover app. A love of animals was engrained in me early on between growing up with our many dogs, and playing on my best friend's family farm. I began dog-walking in 8th grade around the Guilford green, and started petsitting from there through word of mouth! I work in Guilford and have a flexible schedule, so making sure your furry family members get lots of attention is easy! I have a very flexible schedule, I work Monday - Friday with fairly open mornings and the ability to work from home for the majority of the day. I offer overnights in a client’s home as well as drop in visits and provide company, walks, feeding, potty breaks, medicine, or just check-ins! I do not offer boarding in my home.

About: I personally have two demon cats and I have been pet sitting for two years and dog walking for two years. New relationships with animals! My family and friends have trusted me with their dogs and cats, I am available all week except Thursdays. Looking to taking care dogs and cats. I have two cats who are safely in the house at all times, and when I pet sit for my friend, her dog is usually in the crate and then I walk him and let him out and switch the cats in and out of rooms.

Gillian G.
“I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Gillian for years and I can confidently say she has always been a true dog lover. She has cared for her own dog for over 13 years and has consistently shown her dedication and natural connection with animals. Over the years, she has helped me with dog sitting numerous times, as well as assisting friends and neighbors with their pets. She is incredibly reliable, punctual, and communicates clearly, which makes working with her a stress free experience. I always know that any dog and/or house in her care will be treated with love, attention, and professionalism. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate pet sitter!”

Hannah A.
“Hannah has house sat for me many times in order to care for my pitbull while away on week-long trips. She exceeded my expectations; taking my Lucy on long walks after I warned her she’s real strong and pulls on the leash. She even very easily socialized her with other people and dogs which is no easy task. I was very pleasantly surprised to hear of how she cared for her and how easily and quickly Lucy took to her. We even made her a custom Lucy sweatshirt! She is for sure my go-to anytime I need a hand with my dog.”

Paris K.Star Sitter

“Excellent communication. Showed up on time for every walk. Sent us notes and pics. Easy to work with. Highly recommended!!”

Rachel B.
“Rachel is my dog Torque’s new best friend. Unfortunately my schedule changed and I couldn’t get him on the daily walks he craved. Rachel sends me nice pictures of him on walks, and it brightens my day. She’s dependable, and I trust her with my dog. To me, that says a lot about a person.”

Marie G.
“I wholeheartedly recommend Marie as a trustworthy and compassionate pet sitter/walker. She is caring, loving and responsible. I’ve always been impressed by her reliability and genuine love for animals. Whether it’s feeding, walking, or just spending quality time, she goes above and beyond to ensure not only my dog feels comfortable and cared for but that I do as well. Kelsey L.
“Kelsey is amazing with my dogs. She follows my instructions and gives them so much love. She’s especially great with my youngest dog who is a bit anxious. Kelsey is very patient with her and makes sure she gets all her energy out. And she will play endless fetch with our eldest pup. Anyone can trust her to watch or walk their dogs because she is always on time and makes sure your pup is comfortable and happy. We love her so much!”

Madeline A.
“Madeline is the kind of person every pet parent hopes to find; responsible, kind, and knowledgeable about the needs of all animals. She’s looked after my pets with the same level of love and attention she gives her own, and I’ve always felt 100% confident leaving them in her care. Whether it's a long walk or just hanging out with my pets while I’m away, Madeline brings patience, reliability, and genuine affection to every interaction. I can’t recommend her enough for anyone looking for thoughtful, dependable pet care.”

Ashley S.
“Ashley was amazing with our hound mix, Winslow. She took Winslow on walks every day in the very cold, rainy weather, threw the ball for him (over and over again) in our yard, and took many, many photos of him. Ashley sent me those photos and responded to all of my (too many) inquiries about Winslow's tummy, etc., etc. I would totally--and highly--recommend Ashley to anyone who has a pet and is going away (or needs someone to walk their pooch).”

Sarah H.
“Sarah has been helping care for our pup on occasion for a few months. She is reliable, attentive and our dog loves her. Our dog is small, a bit guarded and does not always connect well with everyone, but Sarah’s gentle nature and gentle ease earned her trust and we are thankful for this!”
