He even bought her a toy on his last day which he let her select (not surprising that the toy closely resembles a squirrel :). About: I grew up surrounded by all kinds of pets and have owned both cats and a dog as an adult, which was a Dalmatian, describe them as eternally young. :-) I'm an active individual whose current living situation doesn't allow pets so would love to help with yours! Those of you in the Larkspur/Greenbrae area may recognize me from walks on the local paths where I’m able to greet many dogs. While on vacation, I also seek out opportunities to contribute or volunteer for various animal causes, which you’ll see in some of my pictures. I'm retired so my schedule is generally flexible unless I'm out of town for personal reasons. Choosing a more limited radius at this point enables greater schedule flexibility, and to be close to local resources should a need arise. I will pet sit in your home so that your fur baby has all of their normal comforts and routines. I realize not all owners have a fenced yard for a dog so understand the importance of daily walks. I always welcome the opportunity to meet or chat about your needs in advance, so that you may advise of any behaviors for which I'll need to be more mindful. I care for fur babies of at least one year of age. I’m allergic to cigarette smoke so that’s my only restriction. I'm a neat, tidy person who's very responsible--former homeowner.

About: I love dogs (and cats)! I have walked dogs for family members, neighbors and friends for the past 15+ years. I would love to walk your dogs, play with your energetic pup and make sure they are having an amazing day! I can also stop by to feed and water them, or dog sit, and send you an update you about your dog’s or cat’s status after each visit :-). I’m currently very flexible with my schedule and can come walk your dog most days of the week, given at least a day’s notice, within a radius of 7 miles from San Rafael. I can walk dogs outside of your house or take care of dogs within your house. This includes refilling food, water, treats and playing with your dog. Happy to walk to a nearby dog park if that is available and that is something you regularly do with your dog!

About: I loves dogs. I have been lucky enough to own a few over the years, but circumstances have not let me as much as I would like (either because I traveled a lot, I rented and no dogs were allowed, or I have not been sure I could be there for them for 10-17 years as needed. Being a dog sitter and walker, I can give your dog the love I have and get outside and enjoy our wonderful locations with your dogs. I am recently retired and trying to determine my next move--which means right now, my schedule and availability are very open. I am hoping this will be a great addition to my days. I have 2 cats at this time--I feed them twice a day (dry food and wet) and clean their kitty litter on a regular basis. I also spend time with them (usually with them lying on top of me. My cats are ~12 years old. One cat needs medication every other day--and I give this to her. I also cut their nails whenever it is needed. I would take care of my client's animals how the client wants them cared for--I would feed them when they need it, walk them or play with them for at least a set amount of time, and I would respect their boundaries (I would not force myself on them--but I will not let them get out of control and chase other animals or people.). I love animals and always have--and they seem to know this.
