About: I’ve had a dog my whole life growing up, learned to walk with a leash in my hand. Grew up with Goldens who were incredible at teaching me how to love and care for a pet, and in my adult life have had smaller but just as lovable poodle mixes. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and sizes and I can’t wait to care for your special guy/gal! I am a hybrid worker who works from home 4 days a week. When home I have fairly consistent capacity for walks, playing, cuddles or anything else your little guy needs. When I am in the office my 3 year old poodle mix Einstein can help keep them company. I live in a 700sqft 1 bedroom apartment. The kitchen and bathroom are closed off to dogs, but all other spaces including couches and bed are available. No food or potential harms will be accessible to your pet during his or her stay.

“Lily is very professional, caring and patient with my pup!!! She took beautiful pictures for my pup during the walks and left comprehensive notes. I highly recommend her to every pet owner!!!”

About: I just moved to Seattle after 6 years in Portland. I frequently pet sit for my friend’s puppies, dogs and cats. I have a calming demeanor and my friends say I am their pets favorite person! I've helped multiple friends train their dogs who are reactive on leashes, territorial at home, potty working on training and generally anxious. I absolutely love animals and will typically say "hello" to dogs before people. I adopted and cared for a heeler rescue pup in college but she sadly stayed with my former partner after our relationship ended. I also had a hairless Chinese Crested as a kid. I am about to start grad school for clinical mental health counseling and will have a flexible schedule as it is online. I enjoy getting out for walks, hikes and trail runs and would love to take your dog on a walk or stop in and visit your pets during the day. I have years of experience taking care of pets and working with leash reactive dogs. I will work with you to understand exactly what is needed to ensure your pet is emotionally and physically safe.

“Meagan is the best, again! I feel so lucky to know such great care goes into watching my pup Sadie when I'm out of town! Sadie is a lucky girl to get to spend time with her 🥰🐾❤️”

About: I grew up with border collies and am a dog-aunt to a pitbull mix so understand high-energy dogs. I've been caring for my family and friends' pets for over a decade and am now trying to build up my Rover profile, so I've discounted my prices in the meantime :) I love taking dogs on long, meandering, smell-walks around the neighborhood and can handle dogs pulling! I prioritize asking questions before caring for your pet to make sure I have all the information I need. Please reach out if you have any questions! I’m based in Wallingford and work part time in Ballard so I’m very available, especially in these areas, to drop in or walk pets! I’m most typically available during weekdays and when I’m available on weekends they will be noted on my schedule. When I go into work I work 9:30-5 so can drop in on animals before and after, or during my lunch hour. I’m used to spending nights at friends homes to make their animals feel more comfortable! In-home care to me means extra cuddles, play time, and picture updates for parents! I know when I leave my cat in someone else’s care I want updates that things are going well; I promise to do the same for you :)

“Elena is friendly and communicative. She’s flexible with her schedule and very willing to work with you. It’s very evident from the photos she shared that my pups were in excellent hands with her. She truly cares and this was reassuring to me while away. Thank you, Elena! Highly recommend and will return for more pup care.”

“Justin is reliable and communicated quickly and efficiently. He went out of his way to make sure Lili was taken care of even when he was given the wrong address on a miserable day in Seattle. I would definitely trust him with Lili again!”

About: I have had friends, family and strangers entrust me with the care of their furry family members. I have extensive experience with special needs animals and meds administration including subcutaneous fluids. I enjoy walking and hiking and would love to take your dog or cat along for some adventures if that provides positive stimulus for them. I can easily adjust to any special needs your pet may have. Making sure you feel at ease when leaving your furry family member behind is what is most important to me. I am happy to care for your pet in your home or mine. I have a large deck off my house which is an ideal spot to enjoy a little afternoon sun. If you prefer care in your home, I'm happy to maintain any routines which are most beneficial to you and your family.

About: I've taken care of dogs, cats, and rabbits throughout my life and have always enjoyed creating a comfortable home for them to live peacefully 🍹 I'm a UW student and currently needing part time work until my next quarter. I have a flexible schedule and can be available every day of the week, as well as overnight (if needed). I live at the Velo and Ray apartment complex in Wallingford, which has a public access roof with a dog potty area, lounge, and gather area all accessible to dogs.

About: My neighbors, friends, and family rely on me to walk and play with their pups and cats when they travel out of town. Pets love staying in the comfort of their home. As part of house sitting, I bring in all your mail and clean the countertops before I go. I work from home with some short visits to my office for meetings so I can watch your dogs most of the day on weekdays. I’ll be there almost 24/7 on weekends. I follow the care instructions for each dog I walk. We keep a distance from other dogs in the neighborhood for safety. We go on a variety of morning, afternoon, evening and late evening walks.

About: I have several years of pet care experience and truly love spending my time with animals! I have professional experience working as a behavior specialist at an animal shelter, so if you have a fearful or reactive dog, I am more than happy to go slow with them and follow and protocols you may have for visits or walks. I am comfortable working with dogs of all breeds and sizes, and can provide medications or other medical care if they need it. I currently work full-time but will have open availability on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. If you're in need of pet care on other days of the week, please let me know as I might be able to be flexible on some days! I will be sure to follow your pet's routine as they know it in your home! I can align their care with their typical schedule to help them feel comfortable and safe.

“Katie has been taking our dog in daily walks for a couple months now, and we are so happy to have found her. She is kind, reliable, communicative, and adaptable when our plans change. Our dog loves her too! Would totally recommend her, she is great!”

About: I started caring for animals when I was 16 years old. I volunteered for a local animal shelter back in MA, caring for cats and dogs. I eventually moved into working at a Dog Day Care for 2 years in College where I worked with a variety of different sized dogs. I managed medication, feedings, and play time. I recently signed up for TrustedHouseSitters, where I have been having a great time travelling to different areas of the country and taking care of pets while I stay! This has opened my eyes to the opportunity to spend time with more animals, closer to where I live. Since I work from home, I tend to have availability to go for walks or do drop in visits. I am also available to assist pet owners when they need someone for in home stays during the weekends. Since I work from home, I am able to assist pet owners more frequently. I am able to go on walks 1-2 times a day on a lunch break or after work (3pm). I will always treat animals as my own. To understand how to care for each pet, I am often thorough with asking questions and assessing the animals behaviors/needs to give them the best possible care.

“Susanna was wonderful! She walked two big dogs for my friend who’s having some mobility issues. She was super friendly. Both dogs came back so happy and exhilarated like that had a play date. I would definitely use her services again and would recommend to others.”

About: I've cared for pets for over 9 years, primarily watching dogs of all sizes and personalities. I regularly pet-sat for a local family's poodle throughout high school and PT school, including long stays up to two weeks. She had separation anxiety, so l became skilled at providing calm, attentive care and creating a comforting environment. I've also helped care for a large German shepherd from puppyhood and know how to balance active play with structure and routine. I'm very communicative with owners and always tune in to what each pet needs-whether that's longer walks, playtime, or calmer hangouts. I also have experience cat-sitting and enjoy connecting with animals of all kinds! Pet care fits naturally into my routine-I'm very active, so daily dog walks and playtime are easy and fun, not a chore! I work from home one weekday and have full flexibility that day to tend to pets' needs. The rest of the week, I work part-time shifts, which gives me plenty of time to provide regular bathroom breaks, attention, and supervision. I'm available for boarding Friday afternoons through the weekend, and I'm happy to stay at owners' homes whenever needed (all days of the week) to keep pets comfortable in their own space. Whether pets are in my home or l'm staying in theirs, I focus on making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I follow the owner's care instructions closely, from feeding schedules to favorite toys and walk routines. I give plenty of attention-whether that's playtime, walks, or just quiet company-and always respect the pet's personality and needs. In clients' homes, l'm tidy, respectful of their space, and make sure everything is left just as I found it (or better!). I aim to create a calm, positive environment for pets while their humans are away.

“We had a wonderful experience with Jarrod May taking care of Shiloh, our Australian Labradoodle. Shiloh is generally an easy dog but can be a little reactive at times, and Jarrod handled her with patience, confidence, and care. From the start, Shiloh felt comfortable and well looked after. Jarrod kept us updated with great communication and photos, which gave us real peace of mind while we were away. He was attentive to her needs and routine, and it showed in how calm and happy she was when we got back. We’d definitely trust Jarrod with Shiloh again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable, caring sitter! Judy Misbin”

“To Whom It may concern: This letter is written in support of Ms. Margaux Hutchinson for the role of house/pet sitter. Margaux has kindly provided her services to me and my 6 year old Labrador retriever on multiple occasions. I have always found her to be reliable, punctual, and responsible. I am quite particular with regards to both my house and my dog, and Margaux has proven herself to be the consummate sitter. It is truly a blessing to return to a house that is spotless with everything in place and a dog that is happy and healthy. I have now come to trust her in her role and have enjoyed worry-free vacations. And my Labrador is totally in love with her! I happily recommend Margaux without any reservation. Happy to discuss my recommendation or answer specific questions should that need arise. Sincerely, Richard Glimp MD”

Elise P.
“Elise has been helping us with our dogs for years, and we truly wouldn’t trust anyone else! We have two very high-energy breeds—a Belgian Malinois and a Siberian Husky—so they’re a handful, but Elise handles them like a pro. She keeps them active, sticks to their routines, and always goes the extra mile to make sure they’re well cared for and happy. She even helps reinforce training while we’re away, which has made a huge difference. Whether she’s house sitting or just stopping in for a walk, Elise is dependable, communicative, and always respectful of our home. Our dogs absolutely adore her, and so do we. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter who really gets dogs. — Kaitlyn T., Seattle, WA”
