About: Hi there! I’ve grown up with animals all my life— both big and small! I currently have a 75 lb golden retriever and two kitties, whom I adore greatly! I am practiced in walking large dogs but can absolutely walk smaller dogs, and absolutely love going on long walks! I’m not afraid to get messy if your dog wants to play, but I’m also very capable of walking senior dogs, who may need some gentler care. I’d love for the privilege of meeting and caring for your pups! I’m currently a college student on summer break so I am free practically all the time! Any time I spend not walking dogs is spent in my neighborhood pottery studio, or taking my own pup for a walk! Overall I am extremely flexible when it comes to time! However I do not drive so scheduling may be slightly limited by bus times and walk times! I have a fenced in yard and a very friendly dog of my own, if your dog is dog-friendly and would like a buddy during day sitting! I have plenty of treats and water, of course, and carry them on me for walks, as well as a water bowl, in case any dogs need a water break! I air on the more cautious side during walks when it comes to interactions with strangers, unless specified that your dog is extremely friendly and well trained.

About: Hi there! I’d love to take your buddy to exercise, play or just make sure they are well fed. I grew up around a lot of animals - dogs, birds, cats, guinea pig, bunnies and I love spending time around them. I have always been the go-to sitter for my friends’ furry kids. I’ve been doing Rover for about 3 years now and I have truly enjoyed hanging out with the dogs and cats I met through here. I have a dog named Ivy and she is my joy. I love taking her to play at the park, go hiking, swimming or sometimes just being a couch potato with her. From house sitting, hiking, cuddling, trips to MudBay/ All the Best you can definitely count on me to take care of your pet! My schedule has been a little over the place lately, so unfortunately I’m unable to take bookings for dogs currently, but I am accepting cats who can have a flexible schedule. I will feed your pet according to their diet and make sure they are getting their needs met, be it exercising, playing or lots of cuddles!

“Justin helped take care of our dog while we were away. Our dog is reactive and Justin did a great job of meeting his needs. Justin was communicative and responded to any questions we had. We would definitely use Justin again!”

About: I absolutely love animals and will typically say "hello" to dogs before people. I adopted and cared for a heeler rescue pup in college but she sadly stayed with my ex after our relationship ended. I also had a hairless Chinese Crested dog as a kid. I've lived in Portland for 5 years and frequently pet sit for my friend’s puppies, dogs and cats. I have a calming demeanor and my friends say I am their pets favorite person! I've helped multiple friends train their dogs who are reactive on leashes, territorial at home, potty working on training and generally anxious. I am about to start grad school for clinical mental health counseling and will have a flexible schedule as it is online. I enjoy getting out for walks, hikes and trail runs and would love to take your dog on a walk or stop in and visit your pets during the day. I have years of experience taking care of pets and working with leash reactive dogs. I will work with you to understand exactly what is needed to ensure your pet is emotionally and physically safe.

“Emma is always responsive and Jaxx was a happy pup on his first walk!”

About: My partner and I have both have had multiple dogs our whole lives. We are both very excited to welcome new pets into our home! I just moved to Seattle to live with my partner. I currently am home all day with plenty of free time! I would love to have a little companion to hang out with. We do not currently have any other animals in our home and understand that certain pets do not play well with others. We both have experience with many different breeds in our lifetimes and understand the responsibility of caring for another life.

About: I have had friends, family and strangers entrust me with the care of their furry family members. I have extensive experience with special needs animals and meds administration including subcutaneous fluids. I enjoy walking and hiking and would love to take your dog or cat along for some adventures if that provides positive stimulus for them. I can easily adjust to any special needs your pet may have. Making sure you feel at ease when leaving your furry family member behind is what is most important to me. I am happy to care for your pet in your home or mine. I have a large deck off my house which is an ideal spot to enjoy a little afternoon sun. If you prefer care in your home, I'm happy to maintain any routines which are most beneficial to you and your family.

“Meagan is the best, again! I feel so lucky to know such great care goes into watching my pup Sadie when I'm out of town! Sadie is a lucky girl to get to spend time with her 🥰🐾❤️”

About: I’m a former Veterinary Assistant and have been caring for pets professionally since I was 7 years old. I don’t have a lot of reviews on this app, because I have a lot of clients who find me through my massage practice or another app. I’ve been pet sitting in Seattle for over 20 years. I don’t have my own pets. If you choose me, your sweetie is gonna get allllll the snuggles! :) I've had decades of experience working with animals, including working as a veterinary assistant and boarding kennel supervisor. I was 7 years old when I took my first dog-walking job, and I've been pet-sitting professionally in Seattle for over two decades. I have a lot of patience and love for special needs pets, including the timid, shy ones, the PTSD rescues, and pets needing medical care (like sub-cue fluids). I'm experienced with dogs (all sizes & many breeds), cats, birds, rabbits, and even several types of rodents. Animals enrich my life-- they are my friends, so I treat them with the best care, like a good friend does, going out of my way to make sure they feel safe and loved. I give them a lot of focused attention, so that they can look forward to our visits as special fun times with Aunt Katrina, instead of mourning the absence of their family. My vet assistant experience also helps me keep an eye out for anything unusual so I can recommend a trip to the vet when it's called for, sometimes catching things before they become big health risks & big expenses. Plus, I'm a Licensed Massage Practitioner and I’ve studied small animal massage, so cats & dogs adore my healing hands! Additionally, I frequently work with my partner/husband Kevin, so the pets get double the attention and care when he joins me. His gentle nature puts even the shyest pets at ease immediately. Between the two of us, your pets will get so much loving attention, they might forget to miss you! ;) I used to pet sit full time. Now I have a thriving massage practice in Fremont, and I like to pet sit part time. I work up to 8-hour days in Fremont (usually 1pm-9pm). If we plan ahead, I might be able to block out my massage schedule for your sweeties (and only work 5-6 hours on days that I’ll be with your fur kids), so please ask! And if I’m already booked, I can always come by on my hour-long dinner break to do a potty break when I have a long day, provided it’s within 10-15 minutes of Fremont. I typically work up to 8-hour days as a massage therapist on Saturdays, Sundays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays (1pm-9pm). If you need overnight care, I can do an evening visit (around 6pm) on my long work days. My office is dog-friendly , so if you have a pup that likes people and is content to nap while I work, he/she can come to work with me! I do have breaks between clients in which I can walk a dog and/or have cuddle/play time. On my days off, my life revolves around your pup’s normal routines. I excel at following the directions that you’ll lay out regarding your home and how to care for your pet. I try to keep their routines as much like usual as I can.

“Another great dog walker! Appreciate the good communication and ability to accommodate any special requests. Would be happy to work with Emma again!”

About: I have experience sitting for cats for my neighbors for many years growing up, and dog ownership caring for a Great Pyrenees, and a Pomeranian with congenital health issues and anxiety. I’m patient with shy/reactive dogs and getting dogs to take their pills! I currently am laid off from my job so I’m flexible with my schedule during the week if you need a sitter or walker while you RTO! I would prefer your home as my apartment is a smaller 1br, but it depends on the length of service/energy level of the dog. I prefer doing Meet and Greets for new dogs. I’m happy to come to you if it’s within a few miles of Wallingford/Downtown Seattle area. I do not have a car.

“Susanna was wonderful! She walked two big dogs for my friend who’s having some mobility issues. She was super friendly. Both dogs came back so happy and exhilarated like that had a play date. I would definitely use her services again and would recommend to others.”

“Third time we’ve used McKenzie now and she is great! Walked Frankie today for us who was so excited to see her!”

About: Hi there! I’m a big dog lover and lucky dog parent to Hideki, my goofy (and sometimes bossy!) Shiba Inu. Living with a strong-willed pup has taught me patience, creativity, and how to win over even the sassiest of dogs. 🐕✨ Hideki also has epilepsy, so I’m very comfortable caring for dogs with special needs or extra medical attention. Whether your pup is energetic, shy, stubborn, or just needs a gentle, understanding friend, I’ve got you covered. I’d love to take your furry buddy on fun walks, give them plenty of belly rubs, and make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away! I'm a PhD student with a flexible schedule and plenty of free time - I'm available whenever you might need for the summer. I typically take my own dog on 3 walks a day, and would be jappy to make personalized time for your dog or have them join in on a group walk! Your dog’s safety and comfort are always my top priority. I take the time to get to know each pup’s personality, needs, and quirks before every walk. I use secure leashes, stay alert to our surroundings, and never rush—making sure every outing is fun, calm, and safe. With experience caring for dogs with special needs, I’m also comfortable handling medications, monitoring for signs of stress, and giving lots of reassuring care along the way.

About: I started caring for animals when I was 16 years old. I volunteered for a local animal shelter back in MA, caring for cats and dogs. I eventually moved into working at a Dog Day Care for 2 years in College where I worked with a variety of different sized dogs. I managed medication, feedings, and play time. I recently signed up for TrustedHouseSitters, where I have been having a great time travelling to different areas of the country and taking care of pets while I stay! This has opened my eyes to the opportunity to spend time with more animals, closer to where I live. Since I work from home, I tend to have availability to go for walks or do drop in visits. I am also available to assist pet owners when they need someone for in home stays during the weekends. Since I work from home, I am able to assist pet owners more frequently. I am able to go on walks 1-2 times a day on a lunch break or after work (3pm). I will always treat animals as my own. To understand how to care for each pet, I am often thorough with asking questions and assessing the animals behaviors/needs to give them the best possible care.

Jennifer M.
“Jennifer is kind spirited, gentle, patient and loyal! This might be why she does so well communicating and engaging with animals. I have had my English bulldog, Zuko, for 5 years now and as my best friend, Jennifer has always been a big part of his life. When I am away at work or out of town, I fully trust Jennifer with his routine- feeding him, walking him, and engaging with him. I know that her interactions with him will be considerate of his safety, his health, and his feelings. I can be away knowing Jennifer will cuddle with him, play with him, and love him as I would. She is responsible, empathetic, and kind. Zuko and I love her with all our heart.”

Margaux H.
“To Whom It may concern: This letter is written in support of Ms. Margaux Hutchinson for the role of house/pet sitter. Margaux has kindly provided her services to me and my 6 year old Labrador retriever on multiple occasions. I have always found her to be reliable, punctual, and responsible. I am quite particular with regards to both my house and my dog, and Margaux has proven herself to be the consummate sitter. It is truly a blessing to return to a house that is spotless with everything in place and a dog that is happy and healthy. I have now come to trust her in her role and have enjoyed worry-free vacations. And my Labrador is totally in love with her! I happily recommend Margaux without any reservation. Happy to discuss my recommendation or answer specific questions should that need arise. Sincerely, Richard Glimp MD”

Katrina K.
“I give Katrina the highest recommendation possible. She is the most conscientious, pet focused, detail oriented, problem solving, caring person and our preferred pet sitter. We feel most comfortable away from home when we know Katrina is at home with our pets. She has taken care of our all our pets including guinea pigs, our elderly cat, healthy to elderly and infirmed Australian shepherds, rambunctious and ornery Jack Russel Terriers with individual care and concern. One time, there was an actual small electrical fire at our house while Katrina was pet sitting, and she handled this professionally and extremely well. I could go on and on. She is just the best. ”

“Matt has been so great with my 8 year old picky Shiba Inu. He's patient and kind, but doesn't let my stubborn pup manipulate him. He's timely, reliable and always prepared with my dogs favorite snacks. Matt has been my go to dog walker for my dogs' afternoon walks for 8 years! he's never failed to help me out when I can't be home to take my pup out myself. He is kind and caring -- always making sure to avoid foxtails when they're in bloom, and to wipe down wet paws in the winter.”

Olivia S.Star Sitter
“Olivia did an amazing job dog sitting my girl, Suki! I felt completely at ease knowing my baby was in her capable hands. She was attentive and stuck to our routine, which kept Suki comfortable and happy. She engaged with Suki, going for walks, playing her favorite games, and sending me adorable updates. It was clear she genuinely cares for animals, and Suki absolutely adored her! I can’t recommend Olivia enough for pet sitting, and I look forward to having her help again in the future. Thank you, Olivia!”
