About: My home was set up for an 80lb dog with a fenced in yard and areas around the house. Should be very comfortable for any dog. I’m very attentive to the pets, making sure their needs are met and that they are safe and sound. When I take on a job, my schedule is pretty cleared out for it since I’m a retired person. I can schedule my time around the care of your pet. I care for pets in my home by keeping an eye on them. Taking them out into the fenced yard and walking them twice a day. If they like to play fetch or tug I’ll do that with them too. I keep them fed, watered, exercised and rested.

Because I work from home, your dog will have consistent supervision throughout the day. I focus on reinforcing calm behavior and clear boundaries so dogs can settle quickly — especially when they’re in a new space away from their guardians. I grew up with a cocker spaniel my family rescued from an abusive home, which taught me early on the importance of patience and understanding a dog’s emotional state. As an adult, I cared for an active young pit bull for two years, which deepened my experience working with different temperaments and energy levels. I’m now a proud dog mom to a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Lucky, who is well-socialized, gentle, and respectful of other dogs’ space. He helps create a calm, balanced environment for visiting dogs. Our day typically starts between 7–8am with outdoor time in the backyard, followed by breakfast and a relaxed start to the day. Because I work from home, dogs are never left alone for long periods and can settle into a steady, predictable routine. I live in a quiet, low-traffic area in a ranch-style home with very few stairs — ideal for dogs of all ages, including seniors. My home includes a fully fenced half-acre backyard for safe outdoor time and fresh air.

About: We’ve had dogs our entire lives and currently share our home with an Australian Shepherd, so we’re very familiar with active dogs and consistent routines. We’ve also fostered dogs, giving us experience helping pets feel comfortable in new environments and working with different personalities. We treat every dog like our own and focus on making them feel safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away. Pet care fits easily into our routine since we both work from home and are around throughout the day. Pets receive regular potty breaks, playtime, walks, and lots of attention in a calm family environment. With two adults home, we’re able to provide consistent supervision, companionship, and care while keeping pets comfortable and on their normal routines. Because we have two young children, we only accept dogs that are friendly with kids and other dogs. Dogs stay with us as part of our daily family routine and receive regular potty breaks, playtime, walks, and lots of attention throughout the day since we both work from home. We also have a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor time and exercise. Our goal is to provide a comfortable, supervised home environment where dogs feel relaxed and cared for.

About: I have had dogs my whole life from small to large breeds. Pet sitting for neighbors, friends and family for years. In addition to dogs I also have years of experience caring for exotic pets & reptiles. I have a fenced in yard with pool. I also have a very friendly 13 year old wheaten terrier. Plenty of space outside and frequent walks and playtime.

About: I've had pets in my home all my life and have always helped care for them. Including: dogs, rabbits, rats, lizards, and fish. Dogs have always been my favorite animal and I love caring for them by walking them in interesting places or feeding them, even sleeping with them! I finally got a dog of my own at 15 and for the past several years have walked her weekly. Now I have 2 and have learned to manage them both while walking simultaneously. I try to go on light hiking trails or to parks, switching up the location every time. I am currently free most weekends. On Fridays, I'm free after 2 PM typically, but occasionally my girlfriend will be free, in which case she can take dogs on Friday morning for boarding. Just ask and I'll let you know when I'm available on a particular Friday. In my home, my dogs are well-fed with a healthy diet of kibble twice a day, eggs in the morning, and chicken strips at night. They each get baths once every few weeks. We also always prefer they are never alone for more than a few hours at a time. If we leave even for one night, we make sure we have someone visit them every few hours for feeding and letting out. Otherwise, we make sure they feel as loved as possible with lots of petting and sitting together!

“Dhara and her family were friendly and caring hosts for our little man Mr. Darcy. That includes their pooch “Coco” who was playful and not territorial with a visiting doggie scampering around the house. Dhara sent plenty of updates and photos during Mr. Darcy’s visit as of an upcoming longer stay. The stay could not have gone better, and we’re very confident and comfortable leaving Mr. Darcy in the caring hands Dhara and her family going forward. Its clear that they’re “dog people” who care.”
