“We left our 75 pound lap dog for 9 days and I think he had more fun than we did. He had lots of fun playing with other dogs and looking out their front window. Received pictures every day reassuring us he was being well taken care of. Meg and her family took great care of Rocco. I would definitely use them again if I could get another family vacation!”

“If they had 10 stars I would give them to Meaghan. She is amazing. We left our havapoo Milo for 8 days with her. After seeing her reviews and meeting her we felt super confident and rightfully so. Milo had a great time. Her family is super dog friendly, loving, caring and genuinely want your dog to be comfortable not just watch him. The photos she sent were not just a snap shot but him doing the things he likes , like staring out a window(like he does at home) , sleeping in her husband's office while he works (like he does with me in mine), to running in the yard and playing with their dog. She gave our dog a home for 8 days not a kennel or doggie daycare(not knocking them) but this is different. I can't speak for other Rover sitters but Meaghan made a customer for as long as she wants to do this. Great person, great family, great dog sitters.. Thanks Meaghan for everything.”

“First time my senior dog ever stayed overnight outside her home. Max did a wonderful job caring for her (she's partially deaf and blind) and provided me with updates and pics. It was a very stress-free process for both my dog and me! Highly recommend!!”

“Anmol and Trupti are very loving sitters and my bichon Pye thrived quite happily under their care during my whole week away. I highly recommend them!!!”

“Brian was so great to work with! He and his family were were amazing and gave us peace of mind to leave our boy Diego over the holiday. Brian wasn’t the closest sitter available but choosing him was the easiest decision we’ve made. We’ve used Rover for several years and for several different pets and I can assure you, your pets are in EXCELLENT hands here!! We are grateful to have found Brian and will absolutely use him again!”

“Margaret is so nice and made us feel comfortable right away. She kept us updated on our pup throughout the stay. She’s very good with communication, confirmed the stay and answered us right away. We would definitely have our dog stay with her again.”

About: We’ve had dogs our entire lives and currently share our home with an Australian Shepherd, so we’re very familiar with active dogs and consistent routines. We’ve also fostered dogs, giving us experience helping pets feel comfortable in new environments and working with different personalities. We treat every dog like our own and focus on making them feel safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away. Pet care fits easily into our routine since we both work from home and are around throughout the day. Pets receive regular potty breaks, playtime, walks, and lots of attention in a calm family environment. With two adults home, we’re able to provide consistent supervision, companionship, and care while keeping pets comfortable and on their normal routines. Because we have two young children, we only accept dogs that are friendly with kids and other dogs. Dogs stay with us as part of our daily family routine and receive regular potty breaks, playtime, walks, and lots of attention throughout the day since we both work from home. We also have a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor time and exercise. Our goal is to provide a comfortable, supervised home environment where dogs feel relaxed and cared for.
“Our dog, Riley, was so well cared for by Josh. He met us at our car for drop off and pick up bc it's tricky to get to his apartment. While Riley was there we received pictures to keep us updated. It made our evening in Philly so much better knowing she was in good hands.”

About: My home was set up for an 80lb dog with a fenced in yard and areas around the house. Should be very comfortable for any dog. I’m very attentive to the pets, making sure their needs are met and that they are safe and sound. When I take on a job, my schedule is pretty cleared out for it since I’m a retired person. I can schedule my time around the care of your pet. I care for pets in my home by keeping an eye on them. Taking them out into the fenced yard and walking them twice a day. If they like to play fetch or tug I’ll do that with them too. I keep them fed, watered, exercised and rested.
“Monika was great & very responsive. I was hesitant about using rover for a long weekend but felt extremely comfortable with Monika and Finn! I constantly got updates and she was very flexible! I would def recommend her to friends and happy to have found a reliable sitter for my dog - ps Halligan already misses his buddy Finn!!”

About: I provide a calm, quiet, and low-stress home environment that’s great for dogs who prefer a more relaxed setting. My home is kid-free and male-free, and I only take pets I know I can give plenty of attention and care to. I like dogs more than people so they are treated like part of the family here. The doggies can relax freely around the house, get lots of outdoor time, play, walks, and snuggles. I also have experience caring for shy and nervous dogs since my own dog can be timid in new situations. I’m patient and understand that some dogs need extra time to feel comfortable and safe. Since I’m a teacher, I’m very responsible, organized, and used to keeping routines and paying attention to individual needs. I've been dog sitting for 5 years now. Reach out if you have any questions! I work full time as a teacher, so I have a very structured routine that works well for pet care. I leave around 7:10 and am home by 2:45 on most days. Over the summer I only work 4 days a week 8-12. I’m a homebody and spend most nights and weekends at home with my dog. I don’t like leaving my dog alone for more than 6–7 hours, so any dog staying with me would get plenty of attention, time outside, and companionship. Daily walks, playtime, and outdoor time are already part of my normal routine, especially since my dog loves to play catch and relax outside. I provide a calm, safe, and loving environment where dogs can feel comfortable and at home. I have a fenced-in backyard for supervised outdoor play and daily walks can also be provided. Dogs are allowed to freely relax around the house and are treated like part of the family. I also have a medium-sized crate available if needed. I do have my own dog who is 3.5 years old. He’s very laid back, enjoys naps, hanging out, and playing outside. We spend a lot of time outside playing catch and getting exercise. My home is kid-free and male-free, so it’s usually very quiet and low stress for dogs that prefer a calmer environment. I truly love animals and treat them with the same care and attention I give my own dog. I like dogs better than people so they will be treated very well.

“Bob is the absolute best. We are immeasurably thankful for the care and attention he provided to our dog. Full/complete communication before and during our dog’s stay with his family, pics of our canine each day. My dog looked/acted so happy when I picked her up, I think she thought she was treated to a spa vacation. Thank you Bob for everything you did for our little lady.”

About: I provide structured, attentive dog care in a calm home environment where dogs feel safe, understood, and well-managed. Because I work from home, your dog will have consistent supervision throughout the day. I focus on reinforcing calm behavior and clear boundaries so dogs can settle quickly — especially when they’re in a new space away from their guardians. I grew up with a cocker spaniel my family rescued from an abusive home, which taught me early on the importance of patience and understanding a dog’s emotional state. As an adult, I cared for an active young pit bull for two years, which deepened my experience working with different temperaments and energy levels. I’m now a proud dog mom to a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Lucky, who is well-socialized, gentle, and respectful of other dogs’ space. He helps create a calm, balanced environment for visiting dogs. Our day typically starts between 7–8am with outdoor time in the backyard, followed by breakfast and a relaxed start to the day. Because I work from home, dogs are never left alone for long periods and can settle into a steady, predictable routine. I live in a quiet, low-traffic area in a ranch-style home with very few stairs — ideal for dogs of all ages, including seniors. My home includes a fully fenced half-acre backyard for safe outdoor time and fresh air.

About: “I have 4 years of experience caring for dogs and currently have a 9-month-old puppy I trained myself. I’m passionate, patient, and treat every dog like my own. Whether it’s playtime, training, or cuddles, your pup will be safe, happy, and well cared for!” “I work from home, so your pup will never be short on potty breaks, attention, or love! I’m available throughout the day for playtime, snuggles, and care. Morning and evening walks are part of our routine, making sure your dog stays happy, active, and well cared for.” “Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I provide a trustworthy, loving environment where pups can relax and play. My friendly, well-trained puppy makes a great companion for playtime and walks throughout the day, keeping your dog engaged, social, and feeling right at home.”
“Paul & Kathryn took great care of Tyson and sent me many pictures, he really enjoyed being with them and their children. I had no concerns leaving him in their care and will continue to reach out them as needed...”

“Bridget took excellent care of our kitties while we were away! It was the first time leaving them and she made it as stress-free as possible for us. Daily pictures and updates were an added comfort. Teddy and Cooper are still talking about their new friend Bridget and how much fun they had! :) Thank you so much!!”

About: Living with my roommate’s two cats was a surprisingly positive experience. At first, I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about sharing the space, but their different personalities quickly grew on me. One was playful and curious, while the other was calm and affectionate. Over time, they made the apartment feel warmer and more like home.

“In a matter of days Jules managed to become not just my shy fur baby’s best friend, but also left a lasting impression on me! “OMG!! Madison is seriously amazing!!! Not only does she take amazing care of my kitty, she also reconnected my internet so I was able check in on him with my cameras and made me feel at ease!!”

About: Cats have completely stolen my heart. 🐱 Over the past 7 years, I've worked with, fostered, and loved cats of all ages, personalities, and medical needs. Once I started working with cats, I knew they had become my favorite animals to care for. Along the way, I've fostered kittens, participated in TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) efforts, and helped many cats find their forever homes. My home is currently ruled by 6 very spoiled cats (and their two doggy sisters that they love), and each kitty has taught me something different about feline behavior and care. Springer is on behavioral medication and eats a prescription urinary diet, so I'm very familiar with administering medications and managing special medical needs. Mary Jane and Willow like to remind me that cats can be wonderfully quirky—they both have behavioral urination habits that have taught me lots of patience and understanding. Willow is also crate trained! April keeps me on my toes with her constant need of love & affection, while Figaro is my biggest success story. He was the most fearful foster I've ever had, and after years of patience and letting him go at his own pace, he blossomed into the sweetest lap cat. Then there's my little orange dude, Lil' Dorito, who joined our family as a tiny 4- to 5-week-old kitten that I bottle-fed around the clock. One of the most special cats I had the privilege to love & care for was my hospice girl, Cleo. She was only with our family for six beautiful months, but she left the biggest paw print on my heart. Despite her health challenges, she was the sweetest, shy little mama's girl. Caring for her was one of the greatest honors of my life. Living with six cats means I understand that every cat is wonderfully unique. Some want to be your best friend immediately, while others prefer to admire you from across the room—and that's perfectly okay! I always let cats set the pace, because earning their trust is one of the most rewarding parts of caring for them. Whether your kitty is playful, shy, spicy, senior, a tiny kitten, or has medical or behavioral needs, I'll treat them like one of my own—with patience, love, and plenty of chin scratches (if they'll allow it!). I can't wait to meet you and your feline family! 🩷🐾

“Catherine was awesome with Luna! When I got back Luna was happy. She was well fed and had playtime with her favorite toys. I'll definitely use Catherine again. 🐾”

“To say I was very happy with Gabriela's care for my cat is an understatement. She was very professional, prompt with communication and caring for my cat. Gabriela made sure that Kitty received her medication on time, kept me informed of Kitty's progress and answered all of my questions promptly. She is very observant and made suggestions that were very good and clearly knew what she was talking about when making those suggestions. I would highly recommend Gabriela and will use her in the future to take care of my cat.”

About: Just started on Rover this month! I’ve been caring for a range of different animals for years through both pet sitting and hands-on animal care experience, so I’m very comfortable around pets with different personalities, energy levels, and care needs. Friends, neighbors, and family have relied on me to walk, feed, watch, and care for their pets while they’re away. It is so essential to be responsible, paitent and attentive to detail, and how important routine and trust is when caring for our animals. Whether it’s an energetic puppy, a shy rescue, or a senior pet that needs extra patience, I always try to make animals feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. Completely devoted to the animal i’m taking care of full time. I’m home everyday, and can give any care that the animal i’m caring for needs. I have a fenced yard, I can walk your dog however many times you would like depending on your directions but usually 2-3 times a day. If your dog is high energy, I often go on runs and would love a friend to run with! I also have chickens outside that are cooped up and out of danger.

During the week, I can stay organized with scheduled exercise and quality time so your dog feels comfortable and cared for. I’m also flexible and can adjust my routine depending on your dogs energy level and needs, whether that means longer walks, extra playtime, or just more companionship.

I can walk, feed, play with, and give medications to your fur baby to give them the extra love and attention they want during the day.
“Victoria is the best!!! Look no further - you found a wonderful dog caregiver! She has walked our dog, Riley, many times: she is organized, receptive and has excellent communication skills. I feel so very comfortable when Riley is with her. She sends detailed updates and photos while also responding promptly. She is very flexible when scheduling which we truly appreciate! We look forward to having her again and HIGHLY recommend her!!!”

About: Hi! I’ve been dog sitting for about 7 years and have experience with pups as young as 4 months all the way up to senior dogs. I honestly love them all, but puppies are my favorite because of their energy, and I also love a good cuddle with an older dog. I’m comfortable with all breeds and personalities, and I always try to match whatever routine your dog is used to so they feel happy and comfortable while you’re away. Whether that’s walks, trips to the dog park, or just hanging out at home, I’m happy to do it all. I can also administer medication if needed, and I know the cheese trick very well so giving pills is usually quick and stress-free. I recently moved to the area and am currently rebuilding my client base, so I’m very flexible and can often accommodate last-minute bookings. I’m a local college student who is home for the summer, so I have a pretty flexible schedule. Pet care fits easily into my routine, and I plan my days around the pets I’m taking care of. On days I have work, I’m still able to stop by before and after, and on my off days I have even more availability for walks, visits, or overnight care. I always make sure to follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable and stress-free. This includes feeding, walks, playtime, and any specific care instructions you provide. I 100% respect the environment I’m in and the boundaries I’m given. I treat your home like it’s my own and always leave it exactly how I found it, with the exception of a toy or two left out from playtime! My goal is to keep your pets happy, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away.

“Paul & Kathryn took great care of Tyson and sent me many pictures, he really enjoyed being with them and their children. I had no concerns leaving him in their care and will continue to reach out them as needed...”

“Elina took amazing care of our anxious and emotionally needy dog for 3 weeks. It was our first time using her, and I felt comfortable right away. Her back yard is incredible and was great place for our dog to spend time. During our trip, Elina was very communicative, sent pictures and answered questions promptly. We will not hesitate to use her again.”

“Both my dogs felt at home and had a great time during their stay. Maureen took great care of them and kept up updated with lots of pictures. We are so glad we choose to board them with Maureen.”

“Lenny was very warm and welcoming. She took good care of Oreo and kept me posted with daily activities with messages, pictures and videos. Oreo was very happy. Will definitely keep Oreo with Lenny again!”
