Also, I am able to administer any oral medication or treatment needed for your furry friends!!! I am a middle school special education science teacher, so during the summer I am free. About: I have been caring for my own pets for my entire life and have been pet sitting since I was fourteen. I formerly majored in Animal Science/Pre-vet at UConn before switching to an ecology degree, so helping animals is my life’s mission! I also have clinical experience working as a veterinary technician, so I am comfortable handling animals and making sure any medical needs are taken care of. Each and every pet deserves the same degree of love, care, and affection, and I would love to look after your furry friend! I am on break from college so my days are free to look after your pets! For house sits, I may on occasion have to go out for an errand or two, but I usually will not be away for more than an hour. I am happy to offer around the clock care if that is necessary. I am familiar & comfortable administration medications, or fluids. Before I entered Vetmed, I found my connection to animals, by dogsitting frequently. Not to mention, the handful of pets I’ve had. I have been dogsitting for multiple years, with all different kind of breeds. Being in Vetmed and working in the ER, I have extended knowledge and experience when it comes to taking care and watching your pets. I work full-time, all day, between Thu-Sat from 9am-10pm. Leaving the rest of the week to care for your pet(s). During my work week I am unavailable to sit pets since I work morning straight to night. But any other day (with enough time ahead planning wise) I am free to watch and love your pet! I do not take clients pets into my home, but I am more than happy to come to your house for your fur babies. I would care for your pet by simply doing what they know and what they are familiar with.
About: Hi! Thank you for thinking about boarding with us. For 17 years I have taken care of a sensitive, high maintenance Italian Greyhound named Primo. He was my best buddy. We moved together a bunch of times from the city to his final home here in Ocean NJ. He was super sensitive to sound and people. He had a strict diet and didn't get along with all dogs. This didn't stop us from socializing him with other Italian greyhounds and small dogs with NYC Meetups and playdates. When we moved into our house we would try to make it down to dog beach in Asbury. For 10 years, Laura helped care for her parents dog, Gomez (a shepherd mix), when they were away. It was an outside dog and was a bundle of energy, always running circles and plopping down at your feet for pets and excited for walks on the Henry Hudson Bike Trail. Now that Primo and Gomez have passed on, we have found that we still have love to give to furry friends. We'd love to host your best friend and take care of them the way we have cared for our family pets. Laura and I both work full time from home, with Laura only commuting to the office 3-4 times a month. I can walk your dog twice a day or just let them our into the yard. If they prefer to be outside, that is also great. We've lived here for a couple of years and installed a fence for our child, Rami and the late-Primo. The house has exterior security cameras, and a fenced in yard that can be locked. We can offer 2 walks a day in addition to outside yard time. We'll provide plenty of attention and pets as well! Rami is 4 years old and does well with dogs. Because of his age we can only board non-aggressive, small and medium-sized dogs.

If your pets has a favorite movie/show (I know everyone has one) please let me know and I will get that show/movie on ASAP!!! Depending where you are located I love going for walks especially on hiking trails so if your pup likes that we can definitely get that done! If your pup has separation anxiety let me know what soothes them, maybe it's a blanket with your scent or a favorite show/channel they like.
