“Meaghan was wonderful with my 10 year old Shitzu. She was friendly, loving, and easy to work with. My dog loved her and felt part of her family instantly. I felt like I was leaving him with family. She has a nice house and large fenced in backyard. I was very impressed with Meaghan.”

“Anmol & Trupti we're extremely gracious during our meet and greet which I appreciated because they're not going to take any dog. We were hosting a party and they even drove Dash back to our home late in the evening for our convenience. We wanted him protected while we had a big family party in the yard fearing that you could get out through an open gate. I will absolutely reach out to them next time Dash needs to be boarded. I highly recommend this family of loving dog owners.”

“Max and his family always take great care of Cali. Max sends me photos and keeps our very active dog busy on long walks, hikes and trips to the beach. We have used Max for boarding multiple times and never have to worry about Cali as his family showers her with love and attention. We can’t wait to book Max again.”
“Excellent experience with boarding our senior dog. Because of our dog's age, we usually travel with him, but in this case that wasn't possible. We met with Brian and his wife before our trip, which gave us an opportunity to see how our dog would fare while we were away, and we felt very comfortable with dropping him off with them. They did a great job taking some special instructions into consideration, given his age. You can tell right away that they are caring "dog people". They sent pictures while we were away, and were available for messaging during the entire trip. We would definitely recommend them as sitters.”

“Margaret is so nice and made us feel comfortable right away. She kept us updated on our pup throughout the stay. She’s very good with communication, confirmed the stay and answered us right away. We would definitely have our dog stay with her again.”

“Our dog, Riley, was so well cared for by Josh. He met us at our car for drop off and pick up bc it's tricky to get to his apartment. While Riley was there we received pictures to keep us updated. It made our evening in Philly so much better knowing she was in good hands.”

“Elina has been great so far with all of our visits. She has been very accommodating with timing and even helped out for an extra night when I was unable to come pick up my pets. Elina cares well for the animals and is very reliable and quick to respond!”

About: My home was set up for an 80lb dog with a fenced in yard and areas around the house. Should be very comfortable for any dog. I’m very attentive to the pets, making sure their needs are met and that they are safe and sound. When I take on a job, my schedule is pretty cleared out for it since I’m a retired person. I can schedule my time around the care of your pet. I care for pets in my home by keeping an eye on them. Taking them out into the fenced yard and walking them twice a day. If they like to play fetch or tug I’ll do that with them too. I keep them fed, watered, exercised and rested.
“Carolina took amazing care of my dog for the weekend. She communicated frequently with updates and photos. My dog was well-exercised and happy throughout the whole day. I would recommend Carolina and hope to use her again. Thank you, Carolina!”

“Lenny was very warm and welcoming. She took good care of Oreo and kept me posted with daily activities with messages, pictures and videos. Oreo was very happy. Will definitely keep Oreo with Lenny again!”

“Paul and Kathryn took great care of our golden ! She stayed the night there and was given so much love and attention. She loved running around their yard! They kept us up to date and sent pictures and videos ! Would use them again !”

“Bob was wonderful to our nervous little pup! He made sure she was well taken care of and she felt very much at home at his place. Would definitely have her stay again!”
“Monika and her family took great care of Einie while we traveled for 3 weeks. Einie was well looked after and enjoyed his time with Finn (Monika’s Dalmatian) and her children. Einie will definitely be back with them, and I highly recommend them. Thank you Monika.”

Cosmo had an amazing time with Sumit! We truly appreciated the daily updates and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind. It was clear that Cosmo was well cared for, happy, and comfortable the entire time. Sumit is attentive, reliable, and clearly loves what he does. We would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for excellent care for their pet.
This was our first time leaving Teddy for an extended stay with anyone outside our home and from start to finish we felt reassured and confident that our dog was in the best hands! Anmol & Trupti loved our dog as if he was their own! Frequent texts and pictures were so appreciated and we cannot thank them enough for caring for Teddy!

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
