About: Just started on Rover this month! I’ve been caring for a range of different animals for years through both pet sitting and hands-on animal care experience, so I’m very comfortable around pets with different personalities, energy levels, and care needs. Friends, neighbors, and family have relied on me to walk, feed, watch, and care for their pets while they’re away. It is so essential to be responsible, paitent and attentive to detail, and how important routine and trust is when caring for our animals. Whether it’s an energetic puppy, a shy rescue, or a senior pet that needs extra patience, I always try to make animals feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. Completely devoted to the animal i’m taking care of full time. I’m home everyday, and can give any care that the animal i’m caring for needs. I have a fenced yard, I can walk your dog however many times you would like depending on your directions but usually 2-3 times a day. If your dog is high energy, I often go on runs and would love a friend to run with! I also have chickens outside that are cooped up and out of danger.

About: I have experience dog walking through ........ and Wag, along with growing up with dogs and walking medium-sized dogs in the past. I’m comfortable with dogs of different sizes and energy levels and focused on safe, calm, and reliable walks. I work full-time, so I incorporate pet care into my evenings and weekends. I’m available for weekday evening walks and more flexible on weekends, and I’m also open to short, occasional bookings or drop-ins when needed. I plan my schedule in advance so I can be consistent and reliable for clients. In a client’s home, I follow all instructions closely to keep the pet’s routine consistent and stress-free. I focus on safety, leash control, and making sure dogs feel comfortable during walks or visits. I’m attentive to each dog’s energy level and adjust the pace accordingly, whether that’s a calm walk or a more active outing. I’ve also grown up with a chihuahua and currently spend time with a toy Maltese puppy, so I’m very familiar with small dog behavior and care. I’m comfortable handling different personalities and making sure pets feel safe and well cared for.

About: My home was set up for an 80lb dog with a fenced in yard and areas around the house. Should be very comfortable for any dog. I’m very attentive to the pets, making sure their needs are met and that they are safe and sound. When I take on a job, my schedule is pretty cleared out for it since I’m a retired person. I can schedule my time around the care of your pet. I care for pets in my home by keeping an eye on them. Taking them out into the fenced yard and walking them twice a day. If they like to play fetch or tug I’ll do that with them too. I keep them fed, watered, exercised and rested.

About: For years I have taken care of dogs big and small. I’ve been called on my neighbors, friends, and family to watch their animals while they are away. In the past I have come over for the routine feed and bathroom and kept company, boarded at my home, or stayed at their home if the dog is more comfortable in that environment I am currently a student, so you can often find me home studying. Studying can get boring pretty quickly, so I would love the company and your fur baby would be spoiled with love and attention I live in a single family home with a large fenced in yard and live within a short walking distance to a scenic walking path

About: Hi! I’ve been dog sitting for about 7 years and have experience with pups as young as 4 months all the way up to senior dogs. I honestly love them all, but puppies are my favorite because of their energy, and I also love a good cuddle with an older dog. I’m comfortable with all breeds and personalities, and I always try to match whatever routine your dog is used to so they feel happy and comfortable while you’re away. Whether that’s walks, trips to the dog park, or just hanging out at home, I’m happy to do it all. I can also administer medication if needed, and I know the cheese trick very well so giving pills is usually quick and stress-free. I recently moved to the area and am currently rebuilding my client base, so I’m very flexible and can often accommodate last-minute bookings. I’m a local college student who is home for the summer, so I have a pretty flexible schedule. Pet care fits easily into my routine, and I plan my days around the pets I’m taking care of. On days I have work, I’m still able to stop by before and after, and on my off days I have even more availability for walks, visits, or overnight care. I always make sure to follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable and stress-free. This includes feeding, walks, playtime, and any specific care instructions you provide. I 100% respect the environment I’m in and the boundaries I’m given. I treat your home like it’s my own and always leave it exactly how I found it, with the exception of a toy or two left out from playtime! My goal is to keep your pets happy, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away.

Catherine is great! I knew from our meet and greet that she is a genuine animal lover! She immediately got down onto the floor to calmly and gently introduce herself to my cat. Dani went right up to her with confidence. Catherine took such good care of my Dani while I was on vacation. She made sure that she had plenty of food and water each day and tended to the litter box. Catherine took time to pet, brush, and play with Dani too. She also took a lot of great photos. I could see from the photos that Dani was thoroughly enjoying Catherine’s company and attention. I will definitely use Catherine in the future and confidently recommend her pet sitting services to others.

About: ⚠If you're new to Rover use my Promo code "XAVIEM67281" to get a 💲20 discount off the first service you use with me. ⚠ I have been taking care of pets for as long as I can remember. Not a day goes by that I'm not taking care of the family pets or someone else's. I have walked, checked on, and baby sat dogs of all different shapes and sizes. I use to take care of my neighbors dogs, when she wasn't available. Took dogs to the vet when they had no one else to do it. And I have been a dog walker for about 5 years now. I have walked small dogs such as miniature poodles to bigger dogs such as pitbulls. Your furry friend will be in good hands. I'm currently working part time on Mondays through Fridays, but I have a flexible schedule. I'll feed and take the dog out in the mornings, and after work. During the weekend they'll have my fully undevivded attention through out the whole day I have a fenced in yard with several friendly dogs who will happily play with visitors. I also have some cats but they keep to themselves, lounging around in a separate room from the dogs. Your pets will mostly be under my watchful eye, for I will be home, most of the day watching them. About: I have taken care of many dogs since I was 8 years old. From a young age I was given the responsibility to feed, train and ensure proper exercise for our family dog who unfortunately recently passed away. I am excited to begin working and helping other dog lovers out in any way I can! I am home from Medical School going into my third year and looking to provide dog walking / boarding services on my break. As a result I have a very flexible schedule and think this is a fun way to pass the time and make money needed for school. I have a dog friendly yard in which my family enjoys the presence of dogs. I am responsible and will provide a safe and healthy environment to ensure your dog is properly exercised and taken care of.

About: With over 11 years of professional pet care experience, caring for animals isn't just my job—it's my passion. Throughout my career, I've had the opportunity to work in a variety of roles within the animal care field, giving me a well-rounded understanding of pets and their individual needs. I've worked in several animal shelters in positions ranging from Animal Care Technician, Adoptions Counselor, Customer Service Representative, and even Shelter Manager. I've also worked at multiple doggy daycares, where I started as a Daycare Attendant in the playrooms and worked my way up to Assistant General Manager. In addition, I spent time working as a Veterinary Technician, which gave me valuable hands-on medical experience and strengthened my knowledge of animal health and care. I am also Fear-Free Certified! At home, my life revolves around my fur babies! I currently have six cats and four dogs (two of my dogs live with my mom). One of those pups is an 8-year-old Chiweenie with stranger danger, resource guarding, partial blindness, Cushing's disease, and diabetes, requiring daily insulin injections and consistent medical care. My other family dog is a sweet 10-year-old Basset Hound. Caring for pets with special medical or behavioral needs has given me firsthand experience, patience, and confidence in handling a wide variety of situations. My experience has taught me how to work with pets of all personalities and temperaments—from confident social butterflies to fearful or reactive animals. If your pet experiences stranger danger, I'll gladly schedule multiple meet-and-greets so we can build trust at your pet's pace. My goal is always to create a safe, low-stress, and positive experience for everyone involved. I'm experienced in administering medications, including insulin injections, oral medications, and other routine treatments. I understand how critical it is for pets to receive their medications on time and exactly as directed, and I take that responsibility very seriously. Whether your pet is young, senior, energetic, shy, or has special medical or behavioral needs, you can rest easy knowing they're in experienced, compassionate hands. I hope to hear from you and your fur baby (or babies) soon!🐾 Pet care is currently my full-time job, which means I have a very flexible schedule and can dedicate my time to giving your furry family members the care and attention they deserve. Every pet (and every pet parent!) has different needs, and I believe there's no one-size-fits-all approach to pet care. Whether your pet thrives on a strict routine, needs multiple potty breaks, requires medications at specific times, or simply enjoys extra cuddles and playtime, I'm happy to accommodate their individual needs. My goal is to make both you and your pet feel comfortable and confident while you're away. Please let me know what you're looking for in your pet's care, and together we'll create a plan that keeps your furry family member happy, safe, and loved while you're gone. I always treat the home and the fur babies as if it was my own. Everything must be treated with love and respect. Always respect the animals space when they want it as well.

About: I have experience with all kinds of animals including dogs, cats, birds, and rabbits! I’ve worked for 5 years in a clinic supporting a veterinary team providing treatment and wellness to all types of animals. In 5 years I learned how to read an animal’s body language and how to engage with all kinds of temperaments. I have previously worked in a kennel where I maintained the health and wellbeing of boarding animals with scheduled feeding, medication, and exercise. I’ve worked with non profits like the United States Humane Society working in a high volume setting providing medical care to numerous dogs and cats while advocating for animal welfare and wellness. I’m available for walks and house visits. I’m also available to provide daily feedings in the early mornings or the evenings 7 days a week if needed. My love and dedication to animals is one of the reasons I pursued this opportunity. I have had numerous experiences working with a variety of animals in different environments which makes me a great candidate to be entrusted with your pet! I’m always aware of my surroundings especially when working with animals in an unknown environment. I ensure your fur babies are safe and secured at all times with me.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Freehold choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
