About: Hi! My name is Rachel and I am the biggest dog lover. I have a yorkie, Layla who I love very much. I would love to meet new dogs and care for them! I am very soft and gentle when it comes to dogs because I want them to feel comfortable. I am also good at evaluating dogs’ body language so I can accommodate to their needs. My goal is to make your dog as happy as it can be, keeping them well fed, hydrated, and active through walks. Having a dog myself made me fall even more in love with dogs and I can’t wait to meet more dogs and care for them! :) I am currently working part time in the mornings and early afternoons which makes me available to care for your pet in the middle of the afternoon and evenings! I take care of the pets by listening to what the owner wants for their pet. I make sure the pets are comfortable where they are and I am gentle. I understand some dogs are shy and I come into every home aware of that and I try to let the dogs slowly warm up to me. I make them feel as safe and cared for as possible. Feeding and walking is as consistent as the owner wants it :)

If your dog needs to sleep in the bed, they will. If they need to be crated or left to roam around, they will. We take care of a special needs dog who has a hard time jumping up to the bay window in our home. We take the first pillow of the couch, place it on the floor so he can jump up and get to it. We rearrange the entire living room for this little guy and he loves it. Just an example.

About: I have 5 years of pet-sitting experience, 2 in New York city and 3 in Jersey Shore area. I have cared for mostly cats and dogs but I I’ve had various types of pets my whole life. About: I have taken Care of dogs since I was a young child, years experience with Large dogs and training. They love to play and need to play! Attention to feeding and making them feel at home or on vacation, they will never want to go home! Home 90 percent of time with Pups at all times, they will be well taken care of by a dog lover. Will be feed on your schedule. I have a fenced yard and gates all over house to keep the fur babies contained in a large area of house, I have cages if necessary. I have two Vizsla dogs that love company.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and have done fostering of dogs since 2019. My friends, neighbours, and their friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed, and be with their dogs. I have stayed at dog owners place and sometimes dogs have even stayed at my place too. I’m currently working full-time in a software engineering industry but my work is fully remote and therefore the dog allows me to get up from my chair and help them have a walk while me also taking a walk break from screen and work. I’m a very clean person so you wouldn’t find things laying around in my place. I am very cautious while walking the dog and will follow the instructions that are provided.

About: I became a cat lover later in life, taking in a stray after a snow storm on Christmas day. Prior to that I was a self-described dog person. Now, I love cats and dogs equally as they both have special traits. I've had two family dogs during my childhood, and two during adulthood. I've dog-sat for a friend's senior dog during their summer vacations, and I've cat-sat for my sister's family cat, feeding, administering insulin shots, and giving him a little love. I trained my parents' nervous rescue dog to walk on a leash (taking months of patience!). I would love to walk or sit your family pet while you're at work, away for the weekend, or on vacation. As a school teacher, my summer schedule is flexible. For the summer, I have a flexible schedule and I can accommodate various times. We can work out a schedule based on your pet's needs. About: Hello, my name is Thelma! I am currently an ER Vet Tech, for the last 2 years almost, and working in the ECC Dept. for almost 3 years as an assistant. I am familiar & comfortable administration medications, or fluids. Before I entered Vetmed, I found my connection to animals, by dogsitting frequently. Not to mention, the handful of pets I’ve had. I have been dogsitting for multiple years, with all different kind of breeds. Being in Vetmed and working in the ER, I have extended knowledge and experience when it comes to taking care and watching your pets. I work full-time Sun-Tue, leaving the rest of the week to care for your pet(s). During my work week I am unavailable to sit pets since I work morning straight to night. But any other day (with enough time ahead planning wise) I am free to watch and love your pet! I care for pets in my home by making sure gates are secured and collars are always on! i live in an apartment so their safety is my number one priority. I do not have a backyard for them to hang, so I go out on multiple walks a day with pets to ensure no accidents happen and that they are getting the chance to go to the bathroom, stretch their legs and keep active.

“Melissa is a wonderful pet sitter! She did drops ins for my two cats. She washed dirty bowls that my cats used after eating. I thought that was so thoughtful of her to do this. She also took pictures of my pets , the pet food she fed them, as well as the cat pen area that she cleaned, everyday. In addition, she came over the day it was supposed to snow, on very short notice, for additional drop in visits. I asked her if she could do drops ins the day before, for this day. And even though it was short notice for this additional booking, she agreed to do the drop ins. I was relieved to not have to travel back home, an hour away, in inclement weather, the next day. I am so grateful for her hard work and for excepting my last minute booking, without much prior notice. Melissa is a reliable , flexible and kind pet sitter! I highly recommend her!”

For the past 10 years I've been dogsitting/dogwalking and would love the opportunity to meet and take care of your pup! :) I am pretty flexible for the most part!
