I understand how important it is to have someone trustworthy caring for your pets and home while you’re away. I’m happy to provide walks, meals, playtime, companionship, photo updates, and plenty of affection while following your pet’s normal routine and any instructions you provide! I work longer shifts 4 days each week, which gives me 3 full days off each week to dedicate to pet care. My availability varies by day, but I keep my calendar updated and only accept bookings I know I can fully accommodate. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and overnight stays depending on the dates and your pet’s routine. I’ll follow your pet’s usual routine and care instructions closely so they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I’m careful with doors, gates, leashes, feeding instructions, and any household rules you provide. As an EMT, I’m dependable, attentive, and comfortable staying calm if something unexpected happens. I’ll also send regular photos and updates so you always know how your pet is doing.

“Melissa is a wonderful pet sitter! She did drops ins for my two cats. She washed dirty bowls that my cats used after eating. I thought that was so thoughtful of her to do this. She also took pictures of my pets , the pet food she fed them, as well as the cat pen area that she cleaned, everyday. In addition, she came over the day it was supposed to snow, on very short notice, for additional drop in visits. I asked her if she could do drops ins the day before, for this day. And even though it was short notice for this additional booking, she agreed to do the drop ins. I was relieved to not have to travel back home, an hour away, in inclement weather, the next day. I am so grateful for her hard work and for excepting my last minute booking, without much prior notice. Melissa is a reliable , flexible and kind pet sitter! I highly recommend her!”

About: I have had dogs all my life. I have pet sat for dogs of all breed, age, and size. I was a bather at Petsmart and I worked at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital in Tinton Falls as a veterinary assistant and handled dogs all the time. I now work at Green Leaf Pet resort in oakhurst and I walk dogs, do daycare and more! I work 5 days a week. I have a set schedule that’s Monday’s, Tuesday's, Wednesday’s, Friday’s, and Saturday’s 2 pm - 9 pm. I’m able to stay overnight and during the day the days I work then I would stay all day on Thursday’s and Sunday's. I stay over at clients houses to keep the pets comfortable in their own environment. I keep the house tidy and can clean the house if wanted. I make sure that how ever the pet is used to there owners taking care of them I take care of them the same. I feed, take out, crate if they get crated, etc.

About: I have cared for puppies, dogs, kittens, and cats in my time fostering for animal rescue. I can administer pills or eye drops. I also have experience training puppies. I work from home permanently, so your pup would be supervised during the workday. On the weekends I love adventuring around the city! Your pup would go to farmer's markets and local parks. I would love your dog as if they were my own. They would get exciting walks and meet new friends! I WFH so your pets would have attention and cuddles throughout the day. For everyone's safety, your pup would never be off leash in public and if they are crate trained I would crate them if I needed to leave them home and/or while we are sleeping.

About: I personally know what it means to be willing to trust others with your pet (it can be a little scary at first!). I have a 12 year old Yorkie myself who is my best friend, and I would be taking the same steps to ensure she was in the best care. I am an animal-loving, compassionate health-care provider that is a local and looking to spend my spare time to help others with their fur babies. I am open to any requests you may have :) Please feel free to contact me about anything and I will try my absolute best to accommodate. Early mornings before work (before 8am), or later afternoons (any time after 6pm), and ALL-DAY on weekends I am available. About: I grew up with dogs. A dog, sometimes two or three, was always in our house and a part of my family. I’ve been around dogs of all ages, sizes and breeds, understanding each one is unique and needs certain care. I have helped train a chocolate lab (a very energetic boy named Brody) from a puppy. I understand dogs are a part of your family and will provide that love and care towards them. I care for my two cats, Avy and Moose along with my partner. Since we share responsibilities of our cats and my 9-5 job is remote I am able to schedule sits and walks regularly. My girlfriend and I currently have two cats who are a part of our everyday lives. About: Animals are such an extension of family and should be treated as such. I've had dogs and other animals through the years and provided general care & SO much love. I'm open to special needs animals whether medications or other, I'll learn anything to help care for an animal. I work in emergency services and have a rotating schedule, please feel free to ask for any day/time I try to be as flexible as possible and will work with my clients the best I can .. just ask! I have worked in a doggy daycare so I have experience with several breeds and situations. How you want your pet cared for is how I will care for them. I'm an "animal spoiler" they deserve to be spoiled since all they do is LOVE us, it's the least we can do. There is no shortage of love and attentiveness with animals when it comes to me.
