“I left on vacation for a week and April took amazing care of my dog, Rocky. She was reliable, attentive, and kept me updated the whole time. I came home to a Rocky happy and well fed. I felt completely at ease knowing he was in such good hands. Highly recommend her for anyone needing a trustworthy and loving dog sitter!”

“Kristin has had Rosie for daycare in the past and came over to walk her today. All went well from letting g herself in, to getting Rosie out of her crate and then back in + the walk. It is great having someone like Kristin to help us when we need it!”

“Mike was awesome with my rescue Truvy. She is still learning manners and he was very patient and calm as a counter to her exuberance. She is also dog reactive on the leash , but again he was very adept at navigating the triggers and giving her a great walk.”

About: Your fur babies…my furry friends! Experienced sitter with 15+ years caring for dogs & cats, including seniors, shy pets, and special-needs animals. I respond within minutes and send lots of photo updates. Communication is my strong suit. I’ve been caring for animals since my teens and have worked with pets of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. I’ve fostered, volunteered at shelters, and even helped with daily animal care on a TV show that filmed at a sanctuary with close to a hundred animals. I’m comfortable with shy cats, senior dogs, energetic puppies, and pets who need a calm, gentle presence. I’m also a recent breast cancer survivor and returned to pet care because animals grounded me through treatment. I have a soft, patient way with nervous pets, and many people choose me because of my energy. I’m warm, communicative, intuitive, and genuinely enjoy forming real connections with the pets I care for. If your dog or cat needs extra reassurance or slow bonding, I’m the right person for them. I follow routines closely and give pets the same care and comfort I give my own. My goal is simple. Keep your pets safe, keep their routine steady, and keep you fully updated so you never have to worry while you’re away. I’m currently on leave from my film career while I finish recovering from breast cancer treatment, which means I’m flexible and have plenty of time to give your pets real attention. I’m available weekdays, weekends, and holidays, and I can easily work around your schedule. Pet care fits naturally into my day and I love having the company. I’m very respectful of your home and follow your instructions exactly so your pet feels safe, loved, and understood. I keep routines steady, clean up as I go, and pay close attention to anything that seems different in their behavior or energy. Pets pick up on calm, gentle people and I bring that energy into your home. My focus is always on comfort and safety. Whether it’s walks, playtime, meds, feeding, or quiet company, I stay present and patient so your pet never feels rushed or stressed. I also send regular updates and photos so you always know how things are going.
About: Growing up with a veterinary nurse as a grandmother, I learned all skills needed to care for your pet. When I was young I would pretend I was on a farm going around filling all the bowls of food for the 11 cats and two dogs. I would go out to the garage and wait for the strays so I could give them food, water, and treats. I helped care for the kittens that needed bottle feeds. I helped administer medications to the dogs that were ill. Trained the dogs as needed. Until I had my own pets to look after. I took great pride in giving them all the love and loyalty I had. I’m young but the respect I have for animals is immeasurable. I work only three nights a week at Jersey Shore hospital, so I’m very flexible with any scheduling needed. I live right in Ocean Grove so I can be anywhere in a jiffy. I take long walks daily and am happy to add a companion. I do not have any pets in my home currently, but I often take pet sitting jobs for friends and family. I stay overnight or do stop ins depending on what the owner would like. When I was a nanny I cared for the family’s dog Gryff who you will find in my profile photo. He would cry when I left. We would take naps together. We would go on long walks, play fetch for what seemed like hours, and go swimming with the kids. Your pet will never not feel the love from me.
About: I approach each pet like you would a human by meeting their needs with love. I keep a clean house as well as the fur baby. I am very accommodating and friendly. I request at least 3 days notice unless an urgent need arises. I have experience with training dogs/cats. I’ve house sat for pet owners and cleaned. I’ve even taken care of exotic pets. I’ve worked with rescues who shy away from people. Let’s have a meet with your fur baby and discuss if I can meet your needs. I treat each fur baby like family! I ask to meet up so that the animal feels a sense of trust with me before you part for your journey away. I’d also like to meet you and put your mind at ease.

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life — from a high-energy beagle to a high-maintenance bulldog — so I’m comfortable with all kinds of personalities, needs, and quirks. I’m also currently raising a lab puppy, so I’m very familiar with puppy training, structure, and patience. What sets me apart is that I truly love being active and engaged with pets. Whether it’s long walks, playtime, or helping reinforce good habits, I’m hands-on and attentive. I treat every dog like my own and make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I work from home, which means I’m able to be flexible and attentive throughout the day. Not to mention, I have to take my own dog on several walks throughout the day too! At my place, pets get a cozy, safe space and a friendly lab puppy who loves new playmates and walking buddies. I’m attentive, active, and make sure everyone gets plenty of walks and playtime. In a client’s home, I stick to their pet’s usual routine so they feel comfortable and cared for.

I am flexible with my hours and am more than happy to spend as much time with your pets as needed. I love going for walks and being active inside and outside of the home. I am more than capable of handling bigger dogs, or more then one dog at a time. Safety is my main priority when taking care of your pets.

About: I love dogs more than people 😉 and have been around them my entire life — from Silky Terriers to German Shepherds. I’m a responsible, attentive, and genuinely caring person who will treat your dog like my own. We currently do not have any animals in the home, which allows me to focus fully on your dog’s care and comfort. While we live in an apartment, we’re just a few blocks from the beach in Asbury Park and have access to excellent walking routes. I take dogs on long daily walks of at least 3 miles and am always happy to go farther if that suits your pup. I’m especially understanding of dogs who may be anxious or reactive around other dogs. I know how stressful it can be to leave a dog with behavioral sensitivities, and I’m committed to providing a safe, calm, and structured environment. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. I currently work outside the home three days a week. My husband works for the city and is home daily for lunch, so your dog will never go longer than about three hours without a potty break. Your dog’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I spent 12 years caring for a dog who was reactive toward other dogs, so I understand how important structure, vigilance, and clear communication are. I take instructions seriously and will follow your care and safety guidelines closely — whether that means avoiding other dogs, using specific equipment, or sticking to a familiar routine. Our home is calm and pet-focused, and we currently do not have any animals, allowing me to tailor care to your dog’s individual needs. I’m attentive, proactive, and thoughtful in my approach, and I’m committed to creating a safe, predictable environment where your dog can feel secure and relaxed.
“Melissa has been fantastic! We have a very stubborn, senior Weimaraner, rescue. He came to us without a lot of training and his leash and general manners, were hit or miss. This was a concern for us when choosing someone to walk him. He is 85 lbs, and when he kicks into stubborn mode, he can be a bit challenging. I could tell immediately that Melissa has experience training dogs, and working through those behaviors. She has been fantastic! We have booked with Melissa multiple times. She is always on time for Bruno’s walks, and her communication is timely and personal. (I’ve had walkers past, where it seemed like I was chatting with an AI bot). I highly recommend Melissa, and Im grateful we found her!”

“Anna is a godsend!!! She has been walking my two dogs multiple times a week for nearly two months and I couldn't be happier with her service. She is prompt, extremely communicative, and beyond flexible. She truly seems to enjoy caring for my pups and is excellent with them, which provides me peace of mind that is priecless. I don't know what I would do without her! Thank you, Anna!!!!”

Jessica was outstanding! She was available on NYE when I needed last minute help. She even came to the house during the day and met with me and Bowie for a meet and greet before she came back that evening on her own. She went above and beyond with sending me updates as well as photos and videos, and even did other things like refill his food and water and remove his collar once he was in for the night (as I requested). My dog instantly was comfortable around her and you can see that she is very professional and passionate about her job. 10/10 recommend, she was so kind and a true life saver!

I can’t recommend Anahi enough! She went above and beyond to care for my baby boy. From regular updates with photos to thoughtful check-ins, I always felt at ease knowing he was in such capable and loving hands. Bailey was happy, well-fed, and clearly adored. It’s rare to find someone this reliable, attentive, and genuinely kind. I’ll definitely be booking with Anahi again—thank you for everything!

Kathy and John are amazing. I was afraid to leave my dog. It was the first time I was using the service. They did an incredible job. They are caring and loving. They sent me pictures and told me exactly how he was doing throughout the walk. I highly recommend them.
