About: Hi! I’m Carol and I’ve been taking care of animals my entire life. My love for animals led me to earning a Bachelors of Science degree in Animal Medicine and I am a licensed veterinary nurse (CVTg). I worked 13 years in general practice, surgery, orthopedics, internal medicine, cardiology and emergency. From puppies to seniors, nervous/anxious or special needs - I welcome all dogs. While we all want our pups to be healthy forever, my background offers the unique ability to provide expert elevated care and guidance if needed. With me, you’re not just getting a dog walker, you’re getting a lifetime of professional training, knowledge and elite skill set. My schedule is flexible for weekdays and weekends and I can often accommodate same day requests. Trained in administering oral, injectable, topical medications, I can coordinate schedules should your pet need medication at a specific time(s). Just let me know what’s needed and we can make it happen! Having worked wildlife, zoo animal, marine animal, farm animal, equine and small animal medicine - I’ve seen all sides of animal behavior. What matters most, to not only the animal but to the owner as well, is always trust. I will always take my time to understand your pets personality and routine. Consistency and patience is key. I’m not their trainer or behaviorist (though I do have training in both) - I’m there to be a friend and caregiver. That doesn’t mean I can’t handle the anxious or unruly furry friends - I love a skeptic and the advanced behavioral training and handling I have under my belt makes me particularly suited for the spicier personalities.

She even came to the house during the day and met with me and Bowie for a meet and greet before she came back that evening on her own. She went above and beyond with sending me updates as well as photos and videos, and even did other things like refill his food and water and remove his collar once he was in for the night (as I requested). My dog instantly was comfortable around her and you can see that she is very professional and passionate about her job. 10/10 recommend, she was so kind and a true life saver!”

About: With 10+ years of experience caring for my own dog as well as cats of all temperaments, I am eager to offer quality, safe, and attentive care to pets in my area. I know how stressful it can be to have to find quality animal care last minute, but I absolutely love animals and hope to be able to take some stress off of both owners and their pets. I love working with big dogs and high energy breeds, but am open to caring for all kinds of animals! My full-time role is as a Park Ranger, so I have an extremely flexible schedule ranging throughout the day. I typically know my schedule for the month by the 15th of the previous month and am willing to work around everyone’s schedules to find the sweet spot of what works best for us. ✨🐴 Alongside experience with dogs and cats, I have experience caring for horses and pack mules! I have veterinary science experience in Equine Hoof & Limb from college, as well as several years of experience caring for therapeutic riding horses, National Park Service pack mules and horses, and show horses. I am a full-time park ranger with a very flexible schedule. I’m not trapped in a strict office schedule and have my month planned out by the 15th of the month prior, so I can absolutely plan care with a shorter or longer term notice. Due to my prior experience caring for pets and with veterinary science education, I am a very careful caregiver. For all animals, but especially for cats, I will regularly make sure I am not bringing anything in that could spread communicable diseases or endanger the animal in any way. With all animals but specific with dogs, they will not be left unattended to roam even in fenced areas that they are used to - I know how beloved animals are to our families, and I will always have an eye on your pet while they are in my care! Additionally, I will not bring in any other animals or guests that are not agreed upon with the owner beforehand - I believe that if you hire someone to watch, walk, or care for your pet, you deserve 100% clarity over who they are, what their experience is, and who/what is entering your space.
