About: I love dogs more than people 😉 and have been around them my entire life — from Silky Terriers to German Shepherds. I’m a responsible, attentive, and genuinely caring person who will treat your dog like my own. We currently do not have any animals in the home, which allows me to focus fully on your dog’s care and comfort. While we live in an apartment, we’re just a few blocks from the beach in Asbury Park and have access to excellent walking routes. I take dogs on long daily walks of at least 3 miles and am always happy to go farther if that suits your pup. I’m especially understanding of dogs who may be anxious or reactive around other dogs. I know how stressful it can be to leave a dog with behavioral sensitivities, and I’m committed to providing a safe, calm, and structured environment. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. I currently work outside the home three days a week. My husband works for the city and is home daily for lunch, so your dog will never go longer than about three hours without a potty break. Your dog’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I spent 12 years caring for a dog who was reactive toward other dogs, so I understand how important structure, vigilance, and clear communication are. I take instructions seriously and will follow your care and safety guidelines closely — whether that means avoiding other dogs, using specific equipment, or sticking to a familiar routine. Our home is calm and pet-focused, and we currently do not have any animals, allowing me to tailor care to your dog’s individual needs. My street is very safe and offers a great ambiance for walks. I’m happy to offer my cozy space for daycare or sleepovers, but I can only accommodate one other medium/large dog or two small dogs. About: I’ve had a close relationship with dogs from the day I was born, and am a firm believer that dogs are the family we choose. I first met my dog Sophie when I was 3 years old and I could never be separated from her. I took care of her until her old age of 18, when she sadly passed away. I also took care of our dog Ernie, whom we got when I was 14, and took care of every morning and afternoon before school. Some of my past experiences in taking care of dogs includes feeding the dogs specific meals based off of their diets, walking dogs 3-5 times a day, making sure they have went to the bathroom, and playing with them either outside or inside with their toys. I also have experience taking care of elderly dogs, and dogs less than a year old. I’m looking for part-time work and can contribute entire days to look over, walk, and take care of your pets! I have late, overnight, and weekend availability. I love taking care of dogs and meeting new friends! I’m currently working part-time, but always manage to take care of my little Ernie at home to ensure he’s well fed and cared for.
