Hello! Thank you for checking out my profile! Since I was a child, I’ve taken care of dogs of every kinds, cats, turtles, fish, rabbits, hamsters, and chickens. I’m open to taking care of a snake but I might need a minute to get comfortable! I grew up with a sweet, special needs bichon frise and cocker spaniel. In 2016, I started house sitting and walking dogs for clients, neighbors, friends, and family. I have experience with all dogs- young, old, and special needs. I have given medication to cats and dogs for medical conditions and separation anxiety, in addition to providing extra love and care. I love animals and would be glad to help you have a wonderful vacation knowing your pets are well cared for! If you have any questions, feel free to be in touch.

I can provide house sitting in your home and take care of your pet’s individual needs. At this time, I cannot board pets in mine. Unfortunately, my landlord won’t allow pets.

Andrea came to my house the day before she had to walk with Boludo my dog. She is really nice person and responsible on the day of the walk. She update me and make me feel comfortable. I mentioned this is was my first time that someone took Boludo for a walk and I was really happy and satisfied. I definitely use her service again.
Andrea was so great with Doug! She was so accommodating— She knew that I preferred to have her present with him while house sitting and she rearranged her schedule so she could be with him as much as possible. We got regular updates about Doug’s day with some photos too so we never had to wonder how he was doing. I felt at ease knowing that he was in her care. We will definitely be working with Andrea again! Highly recommend.
Andrea has watched our 3 dogs several times now. Each time has been a positive experience. The dogs are taken care of, she plays with them, takes them swimming, sends videos and pictures of their interactions. The dogs have a great time. The house is always clean and organized after her stay. I recommend Andrea anytime I hear someone needs a pet sitter. I don't worry leaving my furbabies in her care. You won't be disappointed.
Andrea watched my sisters cats for almost 4 months. It was originally supposed to be six weeks but the hospitalization for my sister dragged on. Andrea stepped up without issue was communicative, extremely helpful during the very trying period. She did a wonderful job watching the cats who are both healthy and my sister was extremely happy for the care they received. I highly recommend Ondrea for any type of pet sitting without reservation. She is a wonderful resource. I can’t think of her enough for everything she’s done.
Andrea was fantastic with Pip! We went away on a long vacation and she took great care of him, especially when he got sad that we were gone for so long. Pip loved being with Andrea and we have full confidence leaving Pip with her any time we have to travel.

Schedule
I’m available for dog walks, pet drop-ins, and housesitting in the pet parent’s home on weekdays and weekends. I taught special education for the last ten years but will not be returning this year, so my availability has opened up. A little more about my background: I earned a Bachelor of Science in Community Health Education with a concentration in Health Promotion and Culture and a Master of Education in Special Education. Before changing careers to teaching, I worked with veterans and at a free health clinic as the Community Health Education Coordinator.

- At our meet-and-greet, we can go over any information you would like to share. I'm willing to provide services that will best care for your dog's individual needs. Some questions: * Who can I call in case of an emergency? * Does your pet have any existing injuries, health concerns, bumps? Can they be picked up? * Where are towels to dry the dog after being in the rain? * Where can I find cleaning supplies and stain remover? * How many treats should I give? How often? * Are there any quirks I should know about? (For example, the dog doesn't like people wearing backpacks or the sliding door lock can be finicky.)
