Hello! Thank you for checking out my profile! Since I was a child, I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind, cats, turtles, fish, rabbits, hamsters, and chickens. I’m open to taking care of a snake but I might need a minute to get comfortable! I grew up with a sweet, special needs bichon frise and cocker spaniel. In 2016, I started house sitting and walking dogs for clients, neighbors, friends, and family. I have experience with all dogs- young, old, and special needs. I have given medication to cats and dogs for medical conditions and separation anxiety, in addition to providing extra love and care. I love animals and would be glad to help you have a wonderful vacation knowing your pets are well cared for! If you have any questions, feel free to be in touch. A little more about my background: I earned a Bachelor of Science in Community Health Education with a concentration in Health Promotion and Culture and a Master of Education in Special EducAtion. Before changing careers to teaching, I worked with veterans and at a free health clinic as the Community Health Education Coordinator.

Andrea was so great with Doug! She was so accommodating— She knew that I preferred to have her present with him while house sitting and she rearranged her schedule so she could be with him as much as possible. We got regular updates about Doug’s day with some photos too so we never had to wonder how he was doing. I felt at ease knowing that he was in her care. We will definitely be working with Andrea again! Highly recommend.
Andrea has watched our 3 dogs several times now. Each time has been a positive experience. The dogs are taken care of, she plays with them, takes them swimming, sends videos and pictures of their interactions. The dogs have a great time. The house is always clean and organized after her stay. I recommend Andrea anytime I hear someone needs a pet sitter. I don't worry leaving my furbabies in her care. You won't be disappointed.
Andrea watched my sisters cats for almost 4 months. It was originally supposed to be six weeks but the hospitalization for my sister dragged on. Andrea stepped up without issue was communicative, extremely helpful during the very trying period. She did a wonderful job watching the cats who are both healthy and my sister was extremely happy for the care they received. I highly recommend Ondrea for any type of pet sitting without reservation. She is a wonderful resource. I can’t think of her enough for everything she’s done.
Andrea was fantastic with Pip! We went away on a long vacation and she took great care of him, especially when he got sad that we were gone for so long. Pip loved being with Andrea and we have full confidence leaving Pip with her any time we have to travel.
Andrea was such a pleasure to work with and our dog Otto fell in love with her the moment they met. We hired Andrea to stay with Otto in our home for a few days while we traveled overseas. Everything was super easy, we got periodic pic/video updates and we travelled without worrying about Otto's care. If you are looking for a pet sitter, someone mature and responsible and is good with animals ... look no further and contact Andrea!

Schedule
I'm a teacher (Special Education and English Language Learners in middle school) and live in Asbury Park. I am off for the summer so I'm available for pet care and housesitting on weekdays and weekends. I may not return to teaching in September, so if you need per care during the regular school hours, please still reach out since I may be available. Otherwise I’m available anytime weekdays and weekends.
