About: I love dogs more than people 😉 and have been around them my entire life — from Silky Terriers to German Shepherds. I’m a responsible, attentive, and genuinely caring person who will treat your dog like my own. We currently do not have any animals in the home, which allows me to focus fully on your dog’s care and comfort. While we live in an apartment, we’re just a few blocks from the beach in Asbury Park and have access to excellent walking routes. I take dogs on long daily walks of at least 3 miles and am always happy to go farther if that suits your pup. I’m especially understanding of dogs who may be anxious or reactive around other dogs. I know how stressful it can be to leave a dog with behavioral sensitivities, and I’m committed to providing a safe, calm, and structured environment. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. I currently work outside the home three days a week. My husband works for the city and is home daily for lunch, so your dog will never go longer than about three hours without a potty break. Your dog’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I spent 12 years caring for a dog who was reactive toward other dogs, so I understand how important structure, vigilance, and clear communication are. I take instructions seriously and will follow your care and safety guidelines closely — whether that means avoiding other dogs, using specific equipment, or sticking to a familiar routine. Our home is calm and pet-focused, and we currently do not have any animals, allowing me to tailor care to your dog’s individual needs. About: I’ve been taking care of dogs, cats and other furry friends for about 15 years. Helping neighbors, friends and family feed, walk and play with their pets while they’re away. I get done work around 3pm and am available for evening walks. I’m also available for stay over visits if the pup can go from 8:30am-3pm between walks Monday-Friday. Emily is the absolute best! We continue to rebook her to take care of our 2 dogs. By now she has built a beautiful relationship with our boys. She goes above and beyond to make sure they eat and that they are in good spirits when we have to go away. Our boys are very attached to us and they get so sad when we have to leave them. Emily is so caring and attentive with them. This last time when we returned from our trip the boys looked so happy and healthy. This was my first time using Marley to care for my kitties. From the meet and greet to the drop in visits she was really great! My kitties are my babies and I felt 100% comfortable knowing she was going to take great care of them for me. I will definitely use her again and would recommend her to anyone who wants top notch care for their fur babies!!
Melissa is a wonderful pet sitter! She did drops ins for my two cats. She washed dirty bowls that my cats used after eating. I thought that was so thoughtful of her to do this. She also took pictures of my pets , the pet food she fed them, as well as the cat pen area that she cleaned, everyday. In addition, she came over the day it was supposed to snow, on very short notice, for additional drop in visits. I asked her if she could do drops ins the day before, for this day. And even though it was short notice for this additional booking, she agreed to do the drop ins. I was relieved to not have to travel back home, an hour away, in inclement weather, the next day. I am so grateful for her hard work and for excepting my last minute booking, without much prior notice. Melissa is a reliable , flexible and kind pet sitter! I highly recommend her!
