About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, regularly dog-sit for friends and family, and fully understand walk schedules, zoomies, and selective listening. I’m comfortable with all personalities, from couch potato to “just one more lap around the block”. Work a full-time job from 9-5, but have a hybrid schedule so I’m able to stop in when I am working from home, after work, and on the weekends. As an animal lover, I treat every pet like my own. I love to take walks, or just give your pet some company. I understand the importance of their schedules/routines so I follow care instructions closely to make sure your baby is supervised, secure, and comfortable at all times.

About: I love dogs more than people 😉 and have been around them my entire life — from Silky Terriers to German Shepherds. I’m a responsible, attentive, and genuinely caring person who will treat your dog like my own. We currently do not have any animals in the home, which allows me to focus fully on your dog’s care and comfort. While we live in an apartment, we’re just a few blocks from the beach in Asbury Park and have access to excellent walking routes. I take dogs on long daily walks of at least 3 miles and am always happy to go farther if that suits your pup. I’m especially understanding of dogs who may be anxious or reactive around other dogs. I know how stressful it can be to leave a dog with behavioral sensitivities, and I’m committed to providing a safe, calm, and structured environment. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. I currently work outside the home three days a week. My husband works for the city and is home daily for lunch, so your dog will never go longer than about three hours without a potty break. Your dog’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I spent 12 years caring for a dog who was reactive toward other dogs, so I understand how important structure, vigilance, and clear communication are. I take instructions seriously and will follow your care and safety guidelines closely — whether that means avoiding other dogs, using specific equipment, or sticking to a familiar routine. Our home is calm and pet-focused, and we currently do not have any animals, allowing me to tailor care to your dog’s individual needs. I’m attentive, proactive, and thoughtful in my approach, and I’m committed to creating a safe, predictable environment where your dog can feel secure and relaxed.

About: Your fur babies…my furry friends! Experienced sitter with 15+ years caring for dogs & cats, including seniors, shy pets, and special-needs animals. I respond within minutes and send lots of photo updates. Communication is my strong suit. I’ve been caring for animals since my teens and have worked with pets of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. I’ve fostered, volunteered at shelters, and even helped with daily animal care on a TV show that filmed at a sanctuary with close to a hundred animals. I’m comfortable with shy cats, senior dogs, energetic puppies, and pets who need a calm, gentle presence. I’m also a recent breast cancer survivor and returned to pet care because animals grounded me through treatment. I have a soft, patient way with nervous pets, and many people choose me because of my energy. I’m warm, communicative, intuitive, and genuinely enjoy forming real connections with the pets I care for. If your dog or cat needs extra reassurance or slow bonding, I’m the right person for them. I follow routines closely and give pets the same care and comfort I give my own. My goal is simple. Keep your pets safe, keep their routine steady, and keep you fully updated so you never have to worry while you’re away. I’m very respectful of your home and follow your instructions exactly so your pet feels safe, loved, and understood. About: Hello, my name is Heather and I love animals. I have extensive experience as a dog walker and dog and cat sitter. I have taken care of dogs as small as Chihuahuas and as large as Neapolitan Mastiffs. While I usually watch one or two pets in a household, a former client of mine had 5 dogs who were different breeds, 3 rabbits, and 2 cats. I have my own cat named Shadow and have been a cat owner for most of my life. I became a vegetarian because I love animals. If you entrust me to watch over your pets in your home, I will treat them like my own. I am caring, gentle, reliable, and hardworking. If I am taking care of your pets, I can also bring in your mail, water your plants, and whatever else you may need. Whenever I see a dog or a cat, I pet him or her. When I visit one of my former clients, he remembers me and wags his tail in happiness. :) Thank you for considering me as your dog sitter! Why I love dog sitting I love taking care of dogs because they are so sweet and each one has a different personality. :) I am available for walks and overnight stays. I am also a nanny for children. I prefer non-agressive dogs who are good on the leash or have a backyard. While I can't care for dogs at my home, if I stay at the client's house, I usually sleep wherever the client chooses, and cater to the dog's needs.

Allenhurst dog parents share their Rover experiences
Jessica was outstanding! She was available on NYE when I needed last minute help. She even came to the house during the day and met with me and Bowie for a meet and greet before she came back that evening on her own. She went above and beyond with sending me updates as well as photos and videos, and even did other things like refill his food and water and remove his collar once he was in for the night (as I requested). My dog instantly was comfortable around her and you can see that she is very professional and passionate about her job. 10/10 recommend, she was so kind and a true life saver!

Keith is extremely knowledgeable about dogs and dog behavior. He’s kind, patient, confident and calm. I have two young dogs and they both instantly loved him. I felt extremely comfortable leaving my young puppy with him for a walk. I knew she would not only be safe, but have a fun and enriching experience. Highly recommend!

I can’t recommend Anahi enough! She went above and beyond to care for my baby boy. From regular updates with photos to thoughtful check-ins, I always felt at ease knowing he was in such capable and loving hands. Bailey was happy, well-fed, and clearly adored. It’s rare to find someone this reliable, attentive, and genuinely kind. I’ll definitely be booking with Anahi again—thank you for everything!

We couldn’t be happier with Katie! She’s been absolutely wonderful with our large (and sometimes stubborn) golden retriever. Not only does she take him on walks, but she also stays to play with him afterward, which he loves. Katie is reliable, kind, and great with big dogs. Highly recommend!!!

Kathy and John are amazing. I was afraid to leave my dog. It was the first time I was using the service. They did an incredible job. They are caring and loving. They sent me pictures and told me exactly how he was doing throughout the walk. I highly recommend them.
