“Meghan was perfect for watching our cat for an extended stay! She gave us updates with pictures and videos. We felt she was safe and happy with Meghan. We will absolutely reach out again when we need a babysitter!”

“Tina took really great care of Marley! She sent pictures and kept me informed on how he was doing while I was gone. I appreciate how she made Marley feel right at home and highly recommend Tina!”

“My pup Django loved his time with Carol Ann! She is the sweetest and spent lots of time with him - he even got sick to his stomach halfway through the trip and she made sure to nurse him back to health. Had no worries at all while away on our one week vacay!”

“Another great boarding for Pearl with Mark and his wonderful family! They just take such good care of her and give her so much attention. They truly love her. I appreciate it so much!”

“Let me start by saying that I was incredibly anxious about leaving my dog with a new sitter, I have only left my pup one other time and it has been with family and as this was not possible I reached out to Cristy! Cristy has been walking my dog intermittently and has always been prompt and reliable! The board visit was no different! She promised frequent pics and updates and she delivered! You could tell my dog was having fun and was very well cared for! Cristy will be my go-to boarder as long as she is taking clients!”

“Kat took amazing care of our Axel for the holiday weekend! She was super sweet, kind, accommodate us last minute, and actually cared to know his routine and what works for him. She kept me updated all throughout his stay! I felt safe knowing Axel was with her. 10/10, we’ll definitely be booking again!”

“Carly is wonderful! She babysat my dog, Fig, a few times over the summer, and he absolutely loved spending time with her and her sweet corgi, Willow. I felt completely at ease knowing Fig was in such great hands. Highly recommend!”

“Rachel is amazing! She had my anxious dog and made her feel at home so quickly it was so wonderful. Rachel is super with pictures and communication I always knew how my dog was doing . I would recommend her without any hesitation”

“Katelyn was terrific with our Ginger. She sent daily photos and updates and responded immediately to any of my requests. Ginger really had a great time and was treated very well. I will definitely use Katelyn again. I highly recommend her. Top notch!!!”

“I am new at this and our pup is a bit of a handful (stll in his puppy phase) but Miss Nancy had everything under control! The pics and ease of communication really helped us enjoy our long planned vacation! I really cannot say enough good things about our experience !”

About: I have taken care of dogs for most of my adult life. My wife and I have made a point to adopt large older dogs that tend to be stuck in the shelter system. All dogs are good and deserve to live a fun filled, happy, and loved life. I am also recently pet CPR and first aid certified by The American Red Cross. Im currently working part time three nights during the week so I have plenty of free time to take care of your pups. Having recently lost our beloved Mastiff, I've been craving some pup time. I have a fully fenced in yard and have plenty of room to crate your pups. We recently lost our dog so we are pet free. Being dog people, we welcome your dogs like they were our family.
“Sydney was very sweet and very professional. I could tell she took her dogsitting very seriously and could also tell my dog enjoyed being around her. I highly recommend Sydney.”

“Kathleen was a great sitter for my pup. Easy communication and she kept me updated with photos of him. She fed him, took him for walks and even recommended dog friendly restaurants around the area since I got there early. She was flexible on timing as I picked him up a couple hours early.”

“Fiona is great! Our little Sherlock boy loved her! He is an old man, set in his ways but he was very comfortable with her. She sent pics and updates throughout his stay and even got him new treats. He has a nervous habit of drinking a lot of water when in a new environment. She immediately picked up on it and messaged me and watched him as he settled down into normal drinking levels. Rover and Fiona in particular were a great solution for us while camping at a no-dogs campground.”

“Danielle did a remarkable job sitting Basil over the holiday weekend. Basil was very well taken care of and was sad to leave when I came to pick him up. Danielle was also incredibly flexible; she allowed us to pick up Basil at a different date / time than we previously agreed upon. I couldn’t recommend Danielle enough :)!!”

“Mary was so accommodating and kind. She clearly understands dogs, and helped my dog Bryn to fit in with her pack. Her home and yard are perfect and safe for happy & healthy dogs. It was my first time using Rover and she made the process very easy for me. (I was very nervous). Thank you Mary and family! -Peggy and Bryn”

“We had a great experience with Lex as Mochi’s sitter! She was very caring, attentive, and kept us updated, which gave us so much peace of mind. One thing we truly appreciated is her patience and understanding, even when we were running late picking Mochi up, she was more than willing to wait and didn’t make us feel rushed at all. Mochi came home happy and well taken care of. We would definitely trust Lex again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and kind pet sitter!”

“Like many others, my dog is basically my child so I always get a little nervous when it comes to finding a sitter. I contacted Cheryl to watch my 5 year old dachshund for two nights for a wedding we were attending. She was very responsive and was also conveniently located 10 minutes from our hotel. We traveled from NY and therefore didn’t get the opportunity to do a meet and greet beforehand but Cheryl reassured me that her dog Gus was friendly with everyone and when our dog met him, they got along right away. Cheryl has a fully fenced in yard with plenty of room to run around and although our dog typically sleeps on our bed, Cheryl had plenty of comfy couches and dog beds available. My dog is also an incredibly picky eater and eats fresh refrigerated dog food (he’s a diva I know) and Cheryl had no problems accommodating this. She provided many updates which I certainly appreciated. I would recommend Cheryl to others looking for a dog sitter in the area. She did a great job taking care of my fur baby and I would use her as a sitter if we were ever in the area again. Thank you for taking great care of Wilson, Cheryl!!”

“I can't recommend Victoria highly enough! From the very beginning, she was reliable, communicative, and genuinely caring. It was clear that my dog was treated like family, and I received regular updates and photos that gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. She went above and beyond to make sure my dog's routine was maintained and that all of their needs were met. If you're looking for someone trustworthy, compassionate, and dependable to care for your pet, I would absolutely recommend Victoria. I'll definitely be booking with her again!”

Katie is the best!! We hate leaving Loki, but we know when he’s with Katie he’s on a vacation of his own. She sends pictures/videos/updates constantly to give us peace of mind when we are missing our baby! This was our second time leaving Loki with Katie and definitely will not be the last. Going on vacation is way easier knowing our pup is happy and well taken care of.

Alexis was awesome with our doggie Kala. I would recommend her highly! She is very kind, VERY communicative in a way that made me feel relaxed that my dog was in good hands and having a good time. My dog and her dog enjoyed playing which is a big plus for us. Overall great experience.

Carol Ann and John happily accepted Juno in a pinch when I had a circumstance that required last-minute hosting. During my time away, they sent me photos and notes to let me know that she was having fun and that all was going well at their home. Their care for Juno and understanding of her energetic needs made me so comfortable. I am glad they had her for this weekend away!!! Thank you.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
