About: I've been a dog owner almost all of my life - a mini dachshund as a girl and two cavapoos as an adult. I've also been a long-time sitter for family and friends (Corgi Jake and Lab Rudy are in my pictures), and think of the dogs in my care one of our own. We've moved to Spring Lake from Hoboken - days include walks by the lake, ball tosses in the backyard, and the dog beach in season (regular beach in the fall). Once I book a dog service, my day/week/schedule revolves around that client. I have access to a fenced in yard a walk away from my home (mother-in-law) it is a good way to get another walk in and then play. I can crate, and follow owner’s directions. If your dog needs to sleep in the bed, they will. If they need to be crated or left to roam around, they will. We take care of a special needs dog who has a hard time jumping up to the bay window in our home. We take the first pillow of the couch, place it on the floor so he can jump up and get to it. We rearrange the entire living room for this little guy and he loves it. Just an example.

About: I was the full time Mom for our Havanese until he passed at 11 1/2 years old. I love spending time with dogs on a long walk, playtime, or practicing simple commands. I'm extremely patient and loving, and will treat your dog as my own! I have a very flexible work-from-home schedule, which makes it possible for me to accept a variety of walk or visit times (in addition to the scheduled shown), and I can often take a last minute request. Pet safety is my number one priority. I don't take chances, we always stay safe whether it's being properly leashed or making sure there's nothing dangerous within your dog's reach.

About: I personally know what it means to be willing to trust others with your pet (it can be a little scary at first!). I have a 12 year old Yorkie myself who is my best friend, and I would be taking the same steps to ensure she was in the best care. I am an animal-loving, compassionate health-care provider that is a local and looking to spend my spare time to help others with their fur babies. I am open to any requests you may have :) Please feel free to contact me about anything and I will try my absolute best to accommodate. Early mornings before work (before 8am), or later afternoons (any time after 6pm), and ALL-DAY on weekends I am available. Dependent on request, I may be able to accommodate on lunch as well (I work in point pleasant and can drive back on lunch) While I cannot take your pet to my home, I will be more than happy to go to your home to best suit your needs.

About: I have had dogs all my life. I have pet sat for dogs of all breed, age, and size. I was a bather at Petsmart and I worked at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital in Tinton Falls as a veterinary assistant and handled dogs all the time. I now work at Green Leaf Pet resort in oakhurst and I walk dogs, do daycare and more! I work 5 days a week. I have a set schedule that’s Monday’s, Tuesday's, Wednesday’s, Friday’s, and Saturday’s 2 pm - 9 pm. I’m able to stay overnight and during the day the days I work then I would stay all day on Thursday’s and Sunday's. I stay over at clients houses to keep the pets comfortable in their own environment. I keep the house tidy and can clean the house if wanted. I make sure that how ever the pet is used to there owners taking care of them I take care of them the same. I feed, take out, crate if they get crated, etc.

“Melissa is a wonderful pet sitter! She did drops ins for my two cats. She washed dirty bowls that my cats used after eating. I thought that was so thoughtful of her to do this. She also took pictures of my pets , the pet food she fed them, as well as the cat pen area that she cleaned, everyday. In addition, she came over the day it was supposed to snow, on very short notice, for additional drop in visits. I asked her if she could do drops ins the day before, for this day. And even though it was short notice for this additional booking, she agreed to do the drop ins. I was relieved to not have to travel back home, an hour away, in inclement weather, the next day. I am so grateful for her hard work and for excepting my last minute booking, without much prior notice. Melissa is a reliable , flexible and kind pet sitter! I highly recommend her!”

About: I am a 10 year pet owner and volunteer at animal shelters walking dogs. I love to go on long walks, play outside, and giving lots of love and treats! I am a current college graduate looking for some part time opportunities. My schedule is very flexible and this allows me to spend time with animals which I enjoy! I am responsible for the grooming and feeding of my own cats and dogs- talking them on walks, cleaning and making sure they are safe.

About: I’ve had a dogs in my family my whole life, and love dogs of all breeds. I help Family, friends neighbors care for their dogs when they aren’t home. I walk my own golden retriever 2-3 times a day down to the Brielle park and back plus we have a fully fenced in back yard. We also love to head to the dog park occasionally for some socializing. I have a flexible work schedule and am available to care for my dog and yours all day, everyday with morning and afternoon walks and many chances to go out in the backyard to play. We live down the street from the park, have a fully fenced yard, an9 year old golden retriever who loves all dogs and is very very chill. My husband and I have 3 daughters, 1 in college and 1 In high school and 1 in middle school and they love dogs and have been around dogs since They were born.

About: Animals are such an extension of family and should be treated as such. I've had dogs and other animals through the years and provided general care & SO much love. I'm open to special needs animals whether medications or other, I'll learn anything to help care for an animal. I work in emergency services and have a rotating schedule, please feel free to ask for any day/time I try to be as flexible as possible and will work with my clients the best I can .. just ask! I have worked in a doggy daycare so I have experience with several breeds and situations. How you want your pet cared for is how I will care for them. I'm an "animal spoiler" they deserve to be spoiled since all they do is LOVE us, it's the least we can do. There is no shortage of love and attentiveness with animals when it comes to me.
