About: I have had pets all my life. I had cats as a child and now enjoy spending time with my mothers kitty and my grand-cats! I have had two dogs as an adult. My Boo-Boo was a 10 pound rag doll of foof who we mourn till this day. Then we had Gizmo who was a rescue Pekingese. We loved them both from puppy days till their senior years. For now we enjoy watching the afternoon parade of dog walkers strut past our front porch. We just finished quite a bit of home renovations so we look forward to adding another pup to our family in the future. I work part time as a real estate showing assistant and I manage my own time so I can block off time for pets as the need arises. I also do side gigs as a bagpiper with my husband. My schedule is pretty flexible. I am a real estate agent so I am used to going in and out of homes with care. If your fur baby is at my home they will enjoy a fenced yard and a dog friendly neighborhood to stroll in. I currently do not have a pet so your fur baby will get my full attention.

About: I’ve owned German Shepards and a Golden Retriever along with three cats. I can handle a large crew. I appreciate a dogs need for fresh air and a good sniff I’m retired and ready to get to know your dog. My schedule is flexible and I love to walk in all weather rain or shine I am available for in home pet care during the day. I believe dogs are family and need check in during a long work day

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life. In 2019-2021, I raised 2 working dogs in training. This program taught me so much about raising dogs and training them that I’m now applying to my own forever pup, Luca! Luca is a friendly 3 year old Yellow Lab who loves other dogs. I had a lot of Rover clients when I lived in Philadelphia and now am expanding to my new home, in Wall, NJ. I have my own house with a fenced in yard and direct access to a large park. I do work full time but mostly from home and only go into the office once a week. I typically will only accept jobs where I am positive I am free to provide full attention. I always take the dogs out at least 3 times per day to go to the bathroom and get exercise. My dog is my entire world, and I would treat yours the same. I understand how hard it is to trust others with our pups. Their safety, comfort, and happiness is my #1 priority.

About: I am an animal lover and grew up in a house with many pets. I will care for your pets like they are my own. I am available 7 days per week to care for your pets. My hours are 6am-8pm and I am able to work around you and your pet’s schedule. Your pets safety, comfort and health are of the utmost importance to me. I will provide them with companionship exercise that is suited to their needs.

“Kristin was great with both dogs. Went over and above taking care of them and keeping us informed each day. Highly recommend her.”

About: Animals are such an extension of family and should be treated as such. I've had dogs and other animals through the years and provided general care & SO much love. I'm open to special needs animals whether medications or other, I'll learn anything to help care for an animal. I'd spend all my time with animals if I could but my availability is primarily Tuesday Wednesday & Thursday. I work in emergency services which can make other days questionable due to my schedule being able to change last minute, though I am flexible and will work with my clients the best .. just ask! I have worked in a doggy daycare so I have experience with several breeds and situations. How you want your pet cared for is how I will care for them. I'm an "animal spoiler" they deserve to be spoiled since all they do is LOVE us, it's the least we can do. There is no shortage of love and attentiveness with animals when it comes to me.

“Sheryl was amazing with our girls. They love her. She arrived 2 times each day as planned and took care of our girls as if they were her own. I would definitely recommend her and we will use her again when needed.”

“Lucia is simply amazing! She went out of her way to do a drop in and meet our girl Callie before our scheduled visit to make sure we all were comfortable, especially Callie! She took amazing care of our pup and sent texts and pics throughout their time together, truly couldn’t be happier! Callie can’t wait for next time and neither can we!”

About: Hi! I recently took a short break from Rover while undergoing treatment for breast cancer—I’m doing great now and really looking forward to getting back to what I love: spending time with animals! I’ve been caring for pets since my early teens and have experience with animals of all shapes and sizes. One of the most memorable chapters of my life was working on a TV show filmed at an animal sanctuary, where I helped care for a crew of 99 animals—everything from dogs and cats to kangaroos and lemurs. Over the years, I’ve also volunteered at shelters and fostered both dogs and cats, gaining hands-on experience with animals of all ages, energy levels, and special needs. Whether it’s an energetic puppy, a shy senior, or anything in between, I’m comfortable providing gentle, attentive care. I am completely flexible! Even on holidays! Currently on leave from my film industry career, I have the freedom to dedicate ample time and attention to your lil buddies. I'm currently responsible for the well-being of a diverse fur family, which includes one dog and two kitties. Meticulously, I manage their feeding and bathroom schedules, keeping track of their unique dietary needs and allergies, ensuring that they never get the wrong meal. Beyond the basics, I offer hours of stimulating walks, playtime, and cozy cuddles. However, I always remember that when it comes to your pets, the pet parents are the ultimate bosses. Your instructions and preferences guide my care, ensuring that your furry companions receive the love and attention they deserve.

About: Been taking care of pets in the Spring Lake area for 5 years. I enjoy taking them for long walks and getting them the exercise they need. Currently available most days. I grew up with a golden retriever and have always enjoyed taking care off other peoples dogs. First with friends and family, then on other dog walking apps. I'm conscientious and respectful. I truly enjoy the dogs and like getting our for fresh air. If I am sitting at your house, I will make sure everything is clean and tidy.

About: I've had dogs my entire life. I help out friends and family with their dogs and cats. Animals hold a close place in my heart. I have a golden retriever named Stella and she is my pride and joy. Because of my passion for animals, I've decided to pursue my dream career. My experience with dogs is that I go above and beyond. While caring for your pet, I am with the pet most of the time unless I need to run a quick errand. I would provide comfort and full attention to the animal. I will treat your pet as if they were my own. I provide detailed care and unconditional love. I want to make sure your pet is as comfortable as possible with me. When I first meet them, I make sure I am calm and in a space that they are farmiliar with. I provide daily updates, photographs and videos to provide piece of mind while you are away.

“Amanda has been my neighbor for 7+ years. She initially moved in with her fiance Ray (now husband) and their dog, Gizmo. She was a great dog Mom to Gizmo, but unfortunately he passed away due to old age. Amanda is great with all the dogs and people in the neighborhood. If my dog could talk (his name is Moose) I know he would say she is very kind and caring towards him. He is always excited to see her and give her kisses. They have a fenced-in backyard that would be great for any dog. Amanda would make a great pet caregiver.”

“I have counted on Kaitlyn numerous times to help care for my two golden retrievers and feel so lucky to have found her. She is experienced with dogs of all breeds and sizes and accustomed to caring for dogs in the city, suburbs, and rural settings. Kaitlyn is very active and always takes my dogs on a run or a hike with her (and best of all, she sends me photos of them while she is with them.) With my explicit permission, she also typically takes them to the dog park just a few yards from her house and has followed my instructions about meals, training, treats, etc. to the letter. Perhaps most tellingly, whenever I walk my dogs by Kaitlyn's apartment, they pull to go in! I fully and completely recommend Kaitlyn for all dog sitting needs.”

12. Rebecca K.

She is attentive and caring. She is never late. I could not think of a better person to be a dog walker.”

18. Michael B.
“Michael is a caretaker for our dog Zuzu, and I would trust him with any pet. Our dog has some challenging behaviors, and Mike maintains a calm demeanor with Zuzu which she responds positively to. Mike's peaceful disposition and love of the outdoors make him an ideal pet caretaker and dog walker. You and your pet will be happy to have chosen Michael!”

19. Maggie S.
“Maggie is a wonderful Dog sitter and our dog loves her! She gets very excited when she sees her walking up to the house. Maggie cared for our dog in our home for 5 days while we traveled. She followed all the instructions, sent us updates, took her on a few long walks each day and cuddled on the couch with her at night before going to bed. Out dog is young and came home during the pandemic so she was very used to everyone being around most of the time. She's adjusted to real life but can get separation anxiety. The last time we were away, she stayed with a family who host a few dogs and they said that our dog just wanted to be with them, not to play with the other dogs. We know our dog is safe and happy with Maggie staying in our own home. Maggie is flexible and reliable, very kind and thoughtful. We recommended her to a neighbor, and they were very pleased as well. We'll definitely use her the next time we travel and may ask her to walk our dog if we have to be out for more than a few hours some day in the future. In summary, we highly recommend Maggie S.!”

20. Erin K.

“Erin is very nice and sweet. She took great care of our GSP with nice pictures and notes.”
