“Rachel was great! Today she came to my house to meet my dog Asher for the first time and to see if it was a good fit. They hit it off right away. I was quite surprised and happy, since he is usually apprehensive when meeting new people. I recently moved from a house with a large fenced yard where walking on a leash wasn't necessary, so he really doesn't like going for walks on leash. She had the leash on him and out the door with no problem. Was great to see! Due to anxiety, Asher can't be boarded, and I haven't had much freedom to travel or do many things for the past few years. It was nice to meet someone that Asher likes and I trust to leave him with. I look forward to working with her and to having some freedom back in my life. Thank you Rachel!!”

“Amanda has been my neighbor for 7+ years. She initially moved in with her fiance Ray (now husband) and their dog, Gizmo. She was a great dog Mom to Gizmo, but unfortunately he passed away due to old age. Amanda is great with all the dogs and people in the neighborhood. If my dog could talk (his name is Moose) I know he would say she is very kind and caring towards him. He is always excited to see her and give her kisses. They have a fenced-in backyard that would be great for any dog. Amanda would make a great pet caregiver.”

About: I have been watching pets on the side officially for 5 years now but have been caring for animals my entire life. Starting in middle school I would go to neighbors houses to let their dogs out or feed their cats. I also have always had at least one dog in my house since I was 6. I have experience with senior pets who require more attention as well. Right now I only report to work in person on Monday evenings and the rest of the week I work from home so I am available to tend to your pets most hours of any day. I have been caring for pets for a very long time so safety is very important. Reading pet body language is the best way to understand them. I have a car in case of emergency and can take pets to the vet.

“Maggie is a wonderful Dog sitter and our dog loves her! She gets very excited when she sees her walking up to the house. Maggie cared for our dog in our home for 5 days while we traveled. She followed all the instructions, sent us updates, took her on a few long walks each day and cuddled on the couch with her at night before going to bed. Out dog is young and came home during the pandemic so she was very used to everyone being around most of the time. She's adjusted to real life but can get separation anxiety. The last time we were away, she stayed with a family who host a few dogs and they said that our dog just wanted to be with them, not to play with the other dogs. We know our dog is safe and happy with Maggie staying in our own home. Maggie is flexible and reliable, very kind and thoughtful. We recommended her to a neighbor, and they were very pleased as well. We'll definitely use her the next time we travel and may ask her to walk our dog if we have to be out for more than a few hours some day in the future. In summary, we highly recommend Maggie S.!”

About: I grew up with 2 dogs in my house (a mutt and a cockapoo) and have been helping take care of them for as long as I can remember! I love all types of dogs, and am excited to help take care of yours! I am home from college for the summer with a part time job, but I have a pretty flexible schedule for whenever you need me! I have a fenced in yard and two very friendly dogs, so I have a lot of experience keeping them safe and taken care of.
