Pet Boarding in Hamilton

About: I grew up with dogs, lived with cats, and overall have a strong love for animals. While I can’t have any own dog/pet right now due to finances and time constraints, I’d love to spend some time with your furry friend and get my steps in! I am reliable, loving, and eager to meet new people and pets. I’m currently waiting to start a new job (I’m a dentist) at the end of June. I have plenty of free time until then, and once my job starts I’ll be off at 4pm. I live in a one bedroom apartment with no yard, but I go on daily walks in Belmar. When caring for a dog in my apartment or your home, I would enforce the same rules the dog follows at home in terms of their routine and what is comfortable with you.

“Let me start by saying that I was incredibly anxious about leaving my dog with a new sitter, I have only left my pup one other time and it has been with family and as this was not possible I reached out to Cristy! Cristy has been walking my dog intermittently and has always been prompt and reliable! The board visit was no different! She promised frequent pics and updates and she delivered! You could tell my dog was having fun and was very well cared for! Cristy will be my go-to boarder as long as she is taking clients!”

“Rachel was unbelievable while watching our dog Sammie. It was his first time really away from home and she immediately put all my worries to rest. She sent pictures and videos throughout the day during the entire stay, took Sammie to multiple parks, & even took him swimming for the first time. I could not have asked for a better dog-sitter, especially with our high energy pup. He came back a very exhausted but super happy doggo. 10/10 I would recommend to anyone looking for someone to watch their dog. Definitely will be using Rachel again!! Super nice as well!”

“Fiona is great! Our little Sherlock boy loved her! He is an old man, set in his ways but he was very comfortable with her. She sent pics and updates throughout his stay and even got him new treats. He has a nervous habit of drinking a lot of water when in a new environment. She immediately picked up on it and messaged me and watched him as he settled down into normal drinking levels. Rover and Fiona in particular were a great solution for us while camping at a no-dogs campground.”

About: I love all animals, even reptiles! When I was a teenager I worked at a kennel for a summer job and fell in love with every breed of dog. I’ve had dogs, cats, rabbits and small critters my entire life and even backyard chickens! My current pup is a senior boxer/Shepard mix. I am comfortable giving medication and caring for senior and special needs pets. I have a full time job so am available for pet care in the evenings and on weekends. I work local so if pet sitting at my house, I can check in at lunch time. I have a fenced in backyard and crates if needed. My senior dog is chill and great with cats and small caged pets would be safe with her.

About: My family and I have been dog lovers and owners for over 27 years; caring not only for our own pups, but also for the dogs of friends and family. With that much experience, we know every dog has their own personality, needs, and quirks and we love them all! We currently share our home with a sweet, high energy female boxer, who adores making new friends, so your pup will get both loving care and a playful buddy while you’re away. I’m available for boarding both weekdays and weekends making it easy to fit your dogs needs into my schedule. Dogs in our care enjoy a routine of two-three daily walks, early morning, mid afternoon and evening depending on dogs needs and weather. In addition they receive plenty of backyard playtime throughout the day to keep them happy healthy, and engaged. Feeding schedules can be adjusted to maintain their typical routine. Your dog’s safety is always my priority. The fenced in yard with locked gates provides a secure space for outdoor play, and our friendly 2 1/2 year-old boxer is here to keep your pup company. For added peice of mind, we have indoor cameras to keep an eye on things if we have to step out and cameras around the outside of the entire home, although dogs are never left unattended outside. I can also offer crates if preferred and have designated areas to separate dogs during feeding time to ensure a calm and stress-free environment.

“Bridgette was a great host for my pup-son! When i dropped him off, the first thing she said was, “I’ve been excited all day waiting for him!” How comforting that was to hear?! She sent ample pictures and even videos! She took him to the dog park, on long walks, and challenged him with puzzles. My little fella usually takes a while before he feels comfortable eating with a new sitter but he had no issues with her! She even fed him his motion sickness medication before I picked him up. I would recommend Bridgette to any and all of my friends/family. Your pup will be in good hands. Added bonus that she was able to squeeze him in on short notice!”
