Your Small Pup’s Vacation Home!!!
We will be your pup’s favorite place at the Jersey Shore for overnight stays!! I have been a dog owner for over 20 years and currently have three dogs of my own—Finnegan, a maltese/pom mix and Pepper and Peaches, two young toy poodle/pappillon mixes, bonded sisters. We all live happily in my small and cheerful home in a quiet rural area of Neptune close to Shark River Park. My dogs and their guests enjoy a fenced in patio/yard under the trees for play and potty time. The yard is brightly lit for early morning and evening potty trips. I also have a small side deck for sun napping and breakfast on nice days. Our home is monitored by security cameras inside and outside the house. I work from home so I am available to oversee the dogs at all times. Pups staying overnight are never left alone. Our home is poison free. We do not use pesticides or chemicals for lawn care, pest control, etc. My dogs enjoy fresh fruit and vegetables for snacks (such as cucumber, carrots and strawberries). If acceptable to you, I will offer fruit and vegetable snacks to your pet. Pet waste is removed with biodegradable pick up bags –we love our planet too! If you dog needs to be walked, they will be leashed and walked on my property. For your pet’s security, I do not walk customer pets off my property. My pets are precious to me and I’ll treat yours as my own. Your pet’s safety is top priority to me!

Karen watched our Yorkie, Ruby, over Thanksgiving, and we could not have asked for a better experience. She was incredibly attentive and thoughtful with every detail of Ruby’s care. We got tons of picture updates throughout the stay, which gave us so much peace of mind and Ruby looked so happy in every single one. Ruby is usually a nervous little girl, but she settled in right away with Karen and truly had the best time ever. We’re so grateful to have found someone who treats her like family. We would recommend Karen to anyone looking for someone kind, reliable, and genuinely caring. We’ll definitely be booking with her again!

Karen is fantastic with Sailor! She takes great care of him and loves him like he’s her own. She always returns Sailor’s bowls clean and packs his belongings nicely. She’s the best!
I can't say enough good things about our experience with Karen. Charlie loved her from our first meet and greet and she eased my anxiety about leaving him everyday through texts, pictures and updates about how he was doing. She was the sweetest and most thorough and I can't wait to use her services again!

Working from home, I am available to monitor all dogs throughout the day. Frequent potty breaks are provided all day within a fully fenced yard

I am able to accommodate individual feeding schedules and routines. All dogs are separated for feeding times. You are welcome to bring bedding however I do have numerous beds here and toys.

Guest pups can expect to be doted upon and spoiled! Lots of hugs and love! My girls and Finnegan love friends so no one is left out or alone. There are plenty of soft and comfy seating inside and out! Plenty of pup toys! I have a park like setting for a backyard that features birds, squirrels, rabbits, chipmunks, and groundhogs to provide lots of pup entertainment!

- My service is strictly for small gentle breeds under 25 pounds such as shihtzus, bichon, mini breeds, pugs, maltese, etc. My back yard fence is about 2 1/2 feet high at the lowest point. It is essential that any dog I watch is not able to jump this height so they can run and play off leash in the yard. My guests should include smaller breeds, senior dogs, and dogs that would not be able to jump the fence. Please provide breed information - sorry no terriers including jack russels-and a photo of your dog when contacting me. Please understand dogs must be spay/neutered and must be on flea/tick preventative. As required by law, dogs must have current rabies vaccines. Dogs need to be house trained-pee pads are acceptable and I can provide them here. Please be sure you provide me with any and all behavior and/or health issues prior to the sitting. It is also essential that your dog will be able to get along with other dogs at all times. Absolutely no aggressive dogs. If your dog displays aggression or any adverse behavior to my dogs or other dogs in my care, you will be contacted to have your dog removed from my home. The safety of my dogs and the dogs entrusted to my care is paramount so please understand any behavior that compromises the safety in my home will result in the offending dog being removed. When you book with me, you agree to these conditions. Please provide detailed instructions regarding how you wish for me to handle medical emergencies and an emergency contact in event you are not reachable and also in event a situation arises that the dog will require alternative care. Please also understand that I cannot accept sick dogs when you drop them off for their sitting. Any questions, please contact me! I require a meet and greet prior to the sitting to see if we are the perfect fit for you!
