I live in a pet-friendly community with plenty of green space and great areas for walks. My backyard is not fenced, so dogs will always be supervised and kept safely on a leash while outside. Inside my home, pets are welcome to relax and feel like part of the family. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions and your pet’s usual routine.

About: I have been caring for my own pets for my entire life and have been pet sitting since I was fourteen. I formerly majored in Animal Science/Pre-vet at UConn before switching to an ecology degree, so helping animals is my life’s mission! I also have clinical experience working as a veterinary technician, so I am comfortable handling animals and making sure any medical needs are taken care of. Each and every pet deserves the same degree of love, care, and affection, and I would love to look after your furry friend! I am on break from college so my days are free to look after your pets! For house sits, I may on occasion have to go out for an errand or two, but I usually will not be away for more than an hour. I am happy to offer around the clock care if that is necessary. I currently cannot accept other pets into my own home, but I will be sure to treat your home with respect and follow any guidelines you may have, such as if pets are allowed on furniture, etc.

I am very detail-oriented as I respect that each dog has their personal routine and want to ensure that not much is disrupted for them when I visit/stay. I work fully remotely, so I'm flexible to working with your pet's schedule when housesitting. I'm available for afternoon walks, or to come to housesit from the evenings usually. I'm also willing to travel to housesit (I've travelled to DC before!), though this would require travel coverage as part of compensation. ***For house sits of 1 week or longer, I ask owners to support in covering my meals. Gift cards or a stocked fridge are very much appreciated! *** I tend to ask clients for a document with their pet's daily routine, and how their behaviours are. I will care for your pets as you would advise to care for them in order to maintain consistency and not confuse them. Afterall, I am the guest in staying in their space should I be housesitting.
