About: I currently have a mini bernadoodle named Piper. She is two years old and I have had her since she was 10 weeks old. What sets me apart is that I love her as much as my children and she has a piece of my heart. I make sure she is safe and happy every single day. I currently working fulltime but I am able to pet care weekdays, weekend mornings and evenings. I am flexible so if there is a day of the week and time you prefer feel free to ask and if I can make it work, I will be there. I am in the process of moving, so I can not have pets in my home after June 2026 but at someone else's home, your pet is my priority. I will make sure they are fed, exercised and loved.
“We have used Adriane on a previous occasion and we're so pleased with the excellent care Jesse got that we felt super comfortable leaving Jesse in her care for an extended time. Adrienne sends pictures and videos every day and it is obvious that Jesse adores Adriane. Highly recommended!”

“Georgette helped us out during a true emergency when we needed someone to care for my in-laws’ cats. I can’t describe how much of a lifesaver she was. Georgette was kind, accommodating, and extremely professional, not to mention highly experienced with animals as a vet tech. It’s clear that she truly cared about the cats and took excellent care of them during an extended period. It was such a comfort to know that they were being so well looked after while dealing with our family emergency. I wish I could give her 10 stars!!”
“Brittany was very communicative and loving toward my Soleil when we needed her for a last minute booking. She was prompt, shared many photos and notated my kitty’s demeanor every visit. Would definitely book again.”

About: I've taken care of dogs since high school, had my own 3 dogs at once from puppyhood through senior. I have volunteered at an animal shelter for 10 years and can handle small to large dogs. I'm highly reliable, kind and friendly to all animals and will walk your dog with care. I want you to feel good knowing your dog is taken care of. I work a full time job and volunteer on the weekends, but am available to drop in for potty breaks or feedings in the early evenings during the week. I do not have a yard, however, I can certainly drop in your home to feed, walk, clean up and hang out and spend time with them.

About: Hi! I’m Alex, a lifelong animal lover who’s been surrounded by both dogs and cats since I was a kid. Caring for animals has always been a part of my life, and I understand that every pet has their own unique personality, routine, and needs. I currently am the proud owner of my rescue mix, Goose, who has taught me even more about patience, positive reinforcement, and helping dogs feel comfortable in new situations. I also have two cats, so I’m experienced caring for both cats and dogs! Outside of pet care, I’m a CVICU registered nurse. My career has strengthened my attention to detail, reliability, and ability to stay calm in any situation. I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions, administering medications if needed, and keeping a close eye on your pet’s health and behavior. Whether we’re going for a walk, playing in the house, or just relaxing together, my goal is to make your pet feel safe, happy, and loved while with me. I’ll treat them like they’re my own and make sure you feel connected with plenty of updates and photos throughout every visit. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, and I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your furry family member. I look forward to giving them the same care, attention, and affection that I’d want for my own pets! I currently work 3, 12 hour shifts a week, so I’m available the other 4 days! unfortunately, my schedule does rotate so i’m not bookable for weekly visits, but my calendar is up to date In my home or yours, your pet will be treated like my own. All pets will be played with, cared for, and snuggled with as much as they’ll let me :)
“This is our 2nd time using Jonathan. We had a vet emergency 1 hr before our flight, and he came to the vet office, picked up meds, and administered them while we were away. Incredibly kind and responsible person!”

About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I have cared for pets of all kinds, including dogs and other unique pets, and I have always loved learning about animal behavior and what makes each pet special. I grew up caring for my family dog from the time we were both young until she recently passed away at an amazing old age, and that experience taught me patience, responsibility, and how much love animals bring into our lives. I have also helped care for and walk a family friend’s dog since I was younger, and I have always enjoyed spending time with animals of all sizes and personalities. I believe every pet deserves kindness, attention, and care that is tailored to their needs. I love learning about dog body language, training, and positive ways to build trust with animals. My goal is to foster and rescue animals one day, and I would love the opportunity to provide your pets with the same love and care I would give my own. I work a full-time corporate job during the week and enjoy spending my free time caring for animals. My availability is primarily on weekends, making this a great opportunity for me to provide pets with extra attention, companionship, walks, and care when their families need a helping hand. I value creating a flexible schedule that allows me to give each pet the time and attention they deserve, whether it’s a quick visit, a walk, or longer stays. I’m happy to work with each owner’s routine and their pet’s individual needs. I believe every pet has their own personality, needs, and routine, and I always aim to provide care that makes them feel safe and comfortable. With my own dog, I use crate training, enrichment puzzles, and trick practice to keep him happy, confident, and mentally stimulated. I’m happy to follow each owner’s preferences, whether that means crate time, maintaining a specific routine, going for walks, playing, or simply providing lots of love and cuddles on the couch. My goal is to make every pet feel cared for and at home while their family is away.
“Danielle was great! She came each morning to feed our cat and give him fresh water. She also scooped his litter and sent a picture each day. Danielle also let us know it was chilly in the house and we needed to raise the heat. We are so grateful that Tuck received such great care. Highly recommend Danielle!”

“I feel so secure in my travels when I know Boryanna is with my Oreo. Oreo loves when she comes to feed her and play with her and I get great pictures throughout the visits! If you choose Boryanna you will never be disappointed!”

“Abigail was patient with my stubborn and mischievous collie, who is 60 lbs and not the easiest to manage. My collie was relaxed and content after her visits. I also left a long list of instructions, which were followed to the letter. That shows good and trustworthy work. Thank you, Abigail!”

“We used Lenny to take care of DJ over the Fourth of July, and we truly could not have asked for better care. During a thunderstorm, the power went out, and Lenny went above and beyond by bringing DJ a fan and a lantern so he wouldn’t be hot or left in the dark. Lenny was also looking out for us in every way possible. Our Jeep was parked under a tree that looked like it might fall during the storm, and she immediately called us to ask if we wanted her to move it to a safer spot. Knowing that someone cared for both DJ and our home as if they were her own gave us complete peace of mind. Lenny is reliable, thoughtful, and incredibly compassionate. DJ loves her, and we highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will go the extra mile for their pets.”

About: I have a dog of my own, I’ve been taking care of him for 2 years and making sure to walk him everyday. I am a trusted dog walker I work from home and whenever I have time I love walking my dog out and neighbors dogs for an hour or two. Love dogs I do not have a fenced in yard but I have a leash I take them out with when they need to go to the bathroom
About: I love dogs and have always grown up with them. My first dog was a St. Bernard/Lab mix and I currently have two spoiled Havanese pups that are brothers. I am reliable, believe in clear communication and provide frequent updates to ensure that owners are comfortable knowing their pets are safe and happy while they’re away! I’m in school part-time and work per diem so I’m pretty flexible with my time. Let me know what works for you and your pet(s) and I’m sure we can figure something out! I treat every dog that I look after as if they were my own. I’ll make sure to build trust and give them all the extra love, cuddles, and attention while you’re away!

Alexandra was great! My girl is anxious around new people, but she's a needy velcro kitty, so I try to arrange an hour for visits to give her cuddles and llay time. Alexandra stayed and took the time to help put my girl at ease and gave her lots of cuddles. I will definitely be booking with her again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Helmetta. On Rover:

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
