About: I’ve grown up with cats and dogs all my life, big and small, so I’ve had experience feeding, cleaning up after, and taking care of animals for a while. I began with taking care of dogs around my neighborhood, and eventually got a job at an overnight dog daycare. The job gave me more experience in taking care of and interacting with dogs, as well as feeding, grooming, and reading the body languages of dogs whether they were independent or in a group setting. I also used to volunteer on a farm, so I have experience with other species of animals as well! I am currently a student at Rutgers University with a class schedule. My availability is as follows, MONDAY- 12pm to 3 or 6pm- all night TUESDAY- 12pm- all night WEDNESDAY- 7 am- 3pm or 6pm- all night THURSDAY- 2 pm- all night FRIDAY- 12pm- all night SATURDAY AND SUNDAY- anytime I’m always very adamant of respecting the boundaries of animals, and I’m good at reading their body language. I try to create a calming and stress free environment, making sure I introduce myself and establish a comfortable relationship with them. I understand that being away from family can be stressful for pets, so I try to make them as happy and relaxed as possible and treat them as if they were my own.

About: Hi, my name is Amanda and I adopted my beagle, Honey, last year. I grew up with cats and dogs, and understand that pets are part of the family. I have experience with kittens, cats, and anxious dogs. My specialty is small to medium sized dogs. I walk and train with my dog every day. We completed all the obedience training programs at PetSmart and we participate in agility classes and ecollar training programs. I understand the importance of training as well as caring for the animal with love and patience. I work from home, so my schedule is quite flexible. I walk my dog for about 20 minutes between 8-9am, and then again in the evening from 5pm-7pm. I have a friendly 1.5year old beagle at home who would love to play and snuggle with your pup. I would separate them via dog gate or crating during meal time. We would go for a pack walk and have designated nap time in their crates. Additionally, I would crate both dogs overnight for safety purposes.

About: I have a dog of my own and I know how difficult it can be to find someone that you trust to care for your fur baby. I have experience taking care of dogs in labor, puppies minutes old all the way up to senior pets. I have cared for my friends and family’s pets over the past years. From doing drop ins for cats just to feed and play with them to taking their dogs out for a potty break or long walk, or stay in their homes for an extended period of time, I truly enjoy caring for and providing company for animals while their owners are away. I truly enjoy the companionship that pets provide and I know what a relief it can be as a pet owner to know your fur baby is in good hands I prioritize my dog’s daily routine by scheduling walks, playtime, and off leash time in the dog run. I will usually walk my dog Sonny 3-4 times a day and usually with the dog I am watching, so please specify if you prefer your dog be walked alone! I pride myself in ensuring your pet will remain safe and healthy in my care. I always pay close attention when animals are eating, playing with toys, walking on the leash and climbing up and down the stairs, My home is a pet friendly home so your furry friends are welcome on the furniture and every area of the house.

About: I have been caring for pets since I was 10 years old. I love all animals I always have. I'm a very sensitive soul and I really feel their energy. They seem to love me as well. I've always treated all of my fur babies as just that, part of the family like a very important part! I’ve been a proud owner of Maple for the past 8 years. She is a very nervous and fear-reactive Australian Cattle Dog/Jack Russell rescue, and over the years I’ve worked closely with her to help her feel more comfortable and confident. That has included training, medication, patience, and plenty of high-value treats! Living with Maple has taught me how important it is to understand a pet’s individual needs, recognize their body language and comfort levels, and never rush them into situations they aren’t ready for. I’m comfortable giving pets the time, space, and reassurance they need to feel safe and cared for. Whether your pet is outgoing and playful or needs a little extra patience and understanding, I’m committed to meeting them where they are and giving them the care they deserve. If your pet has a hard time on walks, I am perfectly comfortable handling these types of situations to ensure they get their walks stress free. Otherwise, all the more excited to work with you and your pets' needs. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, and I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets plenty of one-on-one attention. I’m generally available for visits between 6–11 AM on weekdays, as well as most hours on weekends. I’m happy to work around your pet’s normal routine and can accommodate regular visits or occasional drop-ins. I’m also comfortable administering medications when needed, whether that means a pill hidden in a high-value treat or following specific instructions from you. My goal is to keep your pet’s routine as consistent and stress-free as possible while you’re away. When caring for a pet in their home, my first priority is making sure they feel safe and comfortable in their own space. I follow your instructions closely and do my best to keep their normal routine consistent—from feeding and walks to medications, playtime, and quiet time. I’m especially mindful of doors, gates, leashes, and other potential escape routes, and I never assume a pet is comfortable with something just because another pet might be. I pay attention to body language and let pets set the pace, especially when they’re shy, nervous, or reactive. My experience with Maple, my nervous and fear-reactive rescue, has taught me to be patient, observant, and proactive. I understand that building trust can take time, and I would much rather give a pet the space they need than push them beyond their comfort zone. I also know how important it is for owners to feel comfortable trusting someone in their home. I’ll treat your space with the same care and respect I give your pets, and I’ll keep you updated during visits so you know how your pet is doing.
