“We are so happy that Pam was able to take care of Lily, and we were able to enjoy our vacation knowing that she was in such great hands. Pam did an amazing job and was very professional, keeping us updated and sending pictures after every visit. We wouldn’t hesitate to work with her again in the future and highly recommend her services. Thank you, Pam!”

“Wow! My husband and I were so thankful for Rebecca! She accepted our last minute request during Thanksgiving when no other facilities would accept our 110 lb Rottweiler! She was in contact with my husband and I and sent many pictures of our dog on walks and also gave him medication and put his food out twice a day. My dog really enjoyed his time with her. She totally took the stress out of leaving our puppy at home and we enjoyed our vacation without a single worry! I would recommend Rebecca to anyone looking for a caring, responsible and dependable dog sitter”

“Stacey gave my two cats the best care I could imagine. I am so thankful for all she did for them, including giving medicine, and her detailed reports on their behavior while I was away.”
“To be honest, I was apprehensive about having a male do my cat sitting but Hon did a perfect job of taking care of my two cats for several days. I highly recommend him.”

“Eleanor is amazing with my cats and they both really respond to her, even my shy cat! She's also very communicative and responsive and is comfortable getting detailed instructions (both of my cats require special medicine / feeding instructions). This isn't my first time booking her for cat care and I would definitely book her again!”

“Laura is great! She is reliable, trustworthy and responsive. Most importantly, she got my shy kitten to come out from under his hiding spot! I will be using her services again in the future for sure!”

Additionally, my background in law enforcement includes working with the canine unit. I am passionate about providing exercise for animals. I work full time and are available2 to 3 days a week. Mondays would be after 1pm. Tuesday are open, and Wednesdays I am open in the morning till 1pm. I have a fenced in yard for my two dogs currently. Both of them are house trained and adorable. My dogs are on a raw diet which takes a lot of prep and care. They go on walks at night with me when I come home from work.
“Megan M. was amazing with my pack (4) of very large boys! She was friendly and professional! I will definitely use her again if I ever need Rover to cover a day my friends and family can't! The boys definitely made a new friend! 🐾💙”

“Great with my pets! They were really loved and cared for. And so was my house! He actually vacuumed when my cats kicked litter out but didn’t stop there, vacuumed my whole house! Updates were regular and fun to hear about. Wouldn’t hesitate to hire him and recommend to everyone!! Love him!!”

“This is our 2nd time using Jonathan. We had a vet emergency 1 hr before our flight, and he came to the vet office, picked up meds, and administered them while we were away. Incredibly kind and responsible person!”

“Michael was so amazing with my senior orange Ray Cat. What a wonderful job giving him his medicine 2 times and day, brushing, playing and treats. I always get worried because my boy can be a handle full at times, but Michael was such a amazing person for Ray Cat. Highly recommend and I feel so safe having him as Ray's sitter. Again thank you so much!”
“Hiral made daily/frequent various in visits to our chihuahua mix (Rue) for 3 and a half months. If I could giver her 10 stars, I absolutely would! Hiral is incredibly punctual, professional, communicative, and flexible. Rue was 5 months old when Hiral first started and is now almost 9 months old. Rue would not be the well behaved, potty trained pup that she is without Hiral. We and Rue will miss you Hiral! Good luck with your future endeavors! Thanks again!”

About: My family once had a dog but he sadly passed away so it increased my passion for pets. I've had experience taking care of my Auntie's dog for 4 years and when I went to college I didn't see him as much but I came back and he remembered me as if no time past. I've constantly been around pets my whole life and have taken care of other peoples pets in emergency situations countless times. I work weekdays (Mon-Thurs) and I am in school but Friday into the weekends I don't do much so the weekend would be a perfect time to request me to care for a pet. Feel free to take a break and go on a weekend dinner date as your pet is left in good hands. I live on a college campus with vigilant security and cameras at every angle in my building but I am not prohibited to care for animals in my space. I am capable of defending myself and protecting the well being of animals at a clients space.

I was happy to have Rebecca back to drop-in on my Maisie! She was so sweet to my older kitty and always leaves great pictures and follows my instructions every time. In addition, Rebecca was flexible when my needs changed close to my scheduled visits and adjusted the visits quickly.

Gary took such great care of my animals. I have 4 cats and 2 dogs so there’s a lot to do and remember. He took the time to get to know all of them and their routines. It makes going away much easier knowing they are being taken care of so well. I will definitely use Gary again and highly recommend him for anyone looking for pet care.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
