Home full time! Fenced yard!
*NOTE: REGRETTABLY-Due to recent development of allergic asthma-NO SHORT HAIR dogs (pits,frenchie,boxer,boston terrier,short haired pointers, etc) Complete & total canine obsessed! Have raised and rescued 4 dogs over the last 15 years. I believe dogs complete a home. We recently lost all 3 of our dogs, 2 Cavaliers and a Sheltie mix (one Cav we rescued at 10!) within 3 years and have so much love to give while we take some time before adding a new furbaby of our own. ***EDIT 2-We lost the live of our life Louie rather unexpectedly in June 2025 and have rescued ANOTHER Cavalier, Banks! He was abused, traumatized and from an animal hoarding home so while he is barky upon arrival (something brand new for us!) he is terrified of people but totally fine with dogs (after the initial barking-lol--we're working on that!). **EDIT 1--We welcomed another rescue Cavalier King Charles Louie in Feb 2019 and he is a sweet, fiesty little guy! Full time availability, experience w/high need dogs, can administer medications, provide unlimited cuddling, walks, runs, hikes, carrides, adherence to a routine & a space in our bed at night (if "Rufus" wants it). While I have a Cavalier King Charles space always open in my heart, there is plenty of room for your baby! I believe every dog, especially seniors, deserve to know love as unconditional as the love they give us and would have a retirement village for senior dogs if I could!! Clients must be house trained, NO POTTY PADS, any method (natural or chemical) flea protected for the health of all doggies who visit.

Laraine was great with Riley. She sent us videos of Riley playing with the other dog guests at her house. She was pretty quick to respond to my texts. We would recommend her as a dog sitter/walker to any of our friends and definitely will use her in the future. Thanks for taking care of our big baby.
Loraine was able to do a drop in and handle my 3 90+ pound dogs, even without a prior meet and greet. She followed the instructions, and kept in touch with me to let me know how things were going.

Schedule
I am currently home full time, but do leave occasionally for store, quick errands, school transportation. My husband is also home full time but works daily from home.

I have a fully fenced in yard and crates are available if needed. Client is also welcome to bring a crate or bed. Will follow crate schedule if needed.

A typical day
We live in a quiet small town, no highway, lots of routes to walk and a park with a fenced area great for fetch and roaming. There are 2 local dog parks if that's your dog's thing! I am a runner and can accommodate any distance if you have a runner! But I also love a nap with your lazy baby! While it depends on the attachment needs of your furbaby, I am more than willing to have a copilot on carrides too!
