I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and comfort level, and I always adapt my care to meet their individual needs. I provide regular updates, photos, and communication so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is in caring, reliable hands. I currently have flexible schedule and there is usually someone home 24/7. And mostly weekend after 1pm. Please book in advance for the weekends and holidays . SFH with yard, work from home, so your pet will never be left alone for long periods of time. No smoking house. No kid. One resident cat & one resident dog. About: I’ve been around many types of animals all my life including exotic, farm animals, and house pets like cats and dogs. I love them all equally and would be happy to care for any pet! I currently work full time but typically have 3 days off a week. I will be going back to school in the fall but will still have availability. While I cannot currently look after pets in my own home, I am happy to accommodate most needs for any animal in their own home.
“Julia was Outstanding! Was on top of everything, made Charlie Murphy comfortable, took great pictures and even gave me some inside information on my kitten! She is now officially my go to whenever I need someone to love and take care of my Kitty when I’m away for more than a day ! Great job Julia . Charlie said you are the best!! Thank you if I could give you 6 stars I would .”

About: What really sets me apart is the amount of hands-on experience I’ve had with cats over the years. I’ve fostered so many cats—everything from tiny kittens to older adults—and I’ve helped several of them find loving forever homes. I’ve also taken care of sick cats, so I’m comfortable giving basic medications and paying close attention to any changes in their behavior. I’ve had two cats of my own in the past, so I fully understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone. I’m very patient, gentle, and genuinely love being around cats. Whether it’s keeping their litter box extra clean, sticking to their routines, or just giving them comfort and attention, I always treat every cat like they’re my own. I currently work in a hybrid setup. I’m remote on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, which gives me a lot of flexibility on those days, as well as on weekends For cats, I provide full access to my home in a calm, safe, and comfortable environment where they can relax and explore at their own pace. I have a kitten of my own who is very friendly, affectionate, and gets along well with other pets. I understand that every cat has its own routine and preferences, so I’m happy to learn and follow any specific instructions to ensure your cat feels at ease. My goal is to give them a comfortable stay while giving you peace of mind knowing they’re well cared for. Since I know cats can take time to adjust to new environments, your cat will have a private room initially to settle in. Gradual introductions will be done thoughtfully, even if they are typically friendly with other cats. I take hygiene, cleanliness, and safety very seriously. As a cat owner, it’s my top priority to maintain a clean, secure, and stress-free space for both my pets and your.

I have a very flexible schedule that allows me to accommodate your pets’ needs. I have a car and a bike, and can drive to your home anywhere around Davis, Woodland, Dixon, and parts of Sac I do not have a pet of my own currently, so I have the flexibility to be away from home for overnight visits. “Nina was extremely caring and friendly with my cat Siwon and a pleasure to communicate with as she was professional and prompt with responses. I felt very reassured knowing that she was our cat sitter while we were on vacation for two weeks. Thanks Nina!”

“Cristina is amazing! She’s got great availability and is so awesome with our kitties. She always makes sure to play with them and noticed when things are off, like a possible medical issue or piece of trash they might chew on. I highly recommend her - I always know my cats are in good hands!”

About: I understand that every animal has its own personality, routine, and needs, so I take the time to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Whether it’s playtime, walks, cuddles, or simply keeping their routine consistent, I treat every pet with the same patience and kindness I would want for my own two fur babies. My goal is to give you peace of mind, knowing your furry family member is in caring and dependable hands. Pictures and updates will be provided, so you can have consistent peace of mind. Im currently at home due to it being summer break so I have a lot of free time for the time being. I am very flexible when it comes to time and last minute bookings for the next two months. I have two handsome boys of my own Teddy(12) and Vader (4). I do not have a fenced in yard so they love going out on simple walks, big hikes, lakes, the beach and going to the park. With previous clients I would bring their pups with us as well or just keep them in their own neighborhood and in their routines to make sure they’re always happy and comfortable, It’s definitely all up to the parents.
“Stacey is fantastic with cats and I was comfortable from the start leaving my cats in her expert care. She is experienced with medication which was so important for my one cat who has started taking several medications. She sent daily photos and let me know how they were doing during each visit.”

Leigha and our pup got along along great! She sent photos/updates during every visit and respected our very specific requests. Thank you so much Leigha for being so great with Rue!”

“Anthony was quick to learn about our dog and details of entry and exit from house. He dropped by few days before drop-in visit for a quick greet and meet. It went smoothly.”

“Frida was great! She watched our cats for over a week, they tend to be shy but warmed up to her and let her pet and play with them by the end. We appreciated the updates and photos she shared as well :)”

I carry that same love in my heart, every dog deserves kindness, respect, and a life full of love. They give nothing but adoration, and I want to reflect that back to them. Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Kendall Park
Megan was awesome!! So attentive to my two kitties and their care, even going above and beyond to clean up when one of them decided to leave a throw up treat!! One kitty is shy and hides but Megan made sure she was ok and checked on her each day. Will definitely call on Megan again in the future.

We left our two cats for two weeks—the longest they’ve ever been alone—while we traveled across the country, and we were extremely nervous, especially because one of our cats is very anxious and deeply attached to humans. We found Purva through Rover on our first search, and calling her “sent from animal care heaven” would honestly be an understatement. From the initial meet-and-greet, Purva was warm, down-to-earth, and incredibly reassuring. Before leaving, I set up cameras around the house because we were worried about stress-related behaviors like inappropriate peeing or vomiting, particularly from our anxious cat. Somehow, during those two weeks, our cats seemed happier than when we’re actually home. They were consistently well-fed, the litter box was always clean, and although Purva was scheduled for 30-minute visits each day, she never left until every requested task was completed thoroughly and thoughtfully. Most impressively, our anxious cat—who typically urinates around the house when stressed—did not act out even once during the entire two weeks. That alone speaks volumes. I fully attribute this to Purva’s patience, attentiveness, and genuine care. She arrived on time every day and was even available for last-minute visits during an emergency, which gave us incredible peace of mind. We truly could not have asked for a better cat sitter. Purva exceeded every expectation, and we would trust her with our cats again without hesitation. And one more thing we absolutely loved was that Purva always attended the visits with a member of her family. Safety comes first above everything, and this meant so much to us. It gave us an extra level of comfort and peace of mind knowing she prioritized her own safety while caring for our home and our cats.

We hired Shivani to take care of our 2 cats once a day for 8 days and she did a wonderful job! We’re so relieved to see our cats all fed and taken care of while we were away. Thank you so much for the care and love you showed to our babies… we highly recommend her! ❤️

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
